Are you logged in with the same account that was used to activate the phone ? If you are, and the apps aren't showing as free, then try logging out of your account by tapping on it at the botto of the Featured tab in the App Store app and then log back in and see if they then show as free.

Can't redownload purchased app
My TomTom US CANADA app has been recently crashing, so I was directed by TomTom to reboot by iphone 4 and then re-download it after deleting the app from my iphone and itunes app list. I went to re-download it and pressed buy and it did not come up as 'my app is already purchased and ready to re-download' (instead it indicates that I have to re-purchase the app to download it again). Why can't I re-download the app I already purchased on my account without having to re-purchase and pay again? How can I re-download my already purchased app without having to pay again? Thanks, Brad

Is it possible to use my iTunes account to purchase apps for different iPhones without linking those phones to my iTunes account?
I am trying to purchase a specific application (WhatsApp) for some friends who have iPhones but not iTunes accounts. I don't want to link those phones to my iTunes account, just buy this specific app for them.
When I try to purchase directly from their iPhones, I get a wrong password message. Is Apple blocking this purposely?

Yes. You can use any funds that you have available in iTunes for the App Store, iTunes, iBooks or the Mac App Store. Just go to the app store and tap on the app that you want to download. If the credit is available, it will be deducted from your account when you make the purchase.
You can swipe to the bottom of the featured tab in the app store to view your account balance. -

Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

I have CC for work and my PC to do work at home. At home I switched from PC to Mac this weekend. I want to redownload my apps for the iMac but it's telling my I'm using a 30 day free trial. I need to discontinue the PC apps and download to the new computer.
YOu need to sign out of the PC thru the CC manager and then sign in on the Mac.

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

Apps that run on your Mac are designed for OS X.
Two different operating systems.

You need to pay a yearly fee of $99 dollars (US) in order to be able to test the apps on your ipod and post to the app store. Other than that creating apps are "free".
