If you are in Iran then that will be why it doesn't work. There isn't currently an iTunes store in Iran, and you can't use another country's store - you need to be in a country and have a billing address in that country on your account to use its store. Until if/when Apple open an iTunes store there then you won't be able to get content from iTunes

    Try using these steps to stop Lost Mode from iCloud.com:
    Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info
    Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
    Click All Devices, then select the device that’s in Lost Mode.
    Click Lost Mode, then change the information or click Stop Lost Mode.

    It asked me that too.Don't worry and just put it in. Itunes doesn't charge unless your son buys something. The password happens to me all the time. Credit card was only once. Just make sure your son knows not to buy anything without permission so he doesn't accidently charge you something.

    What process did your daughter use, there is a specific format to redeem an iTunes gift card. The gift card must be redeemed using the Redeem link in the Quick Links on the right side of the iTunes Store in iTunes on a computer or the Redeem button at the bottom of both the iTunes and App Store apps in iOS. Redeeming the gift card then applies the value of the card as an available credit to the user's iTunes account. The credit is used first before any bank card also stored in the account. If the purchases use the entire credit and there is an additional balance due, it will be charged to any bank card stored in the account.

    I was receiving the same error message yesterday, which said There was a problem downloading "The Song Name / Album / Artist". The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose "Check for Available Downloads" from the Store menu. The file tries to download five times before this error message appears.
    I too, tried to find the file and delete it, but it was no where to be found.
    So I gave up for that moment and tried again today and I was able to successfully download the file. Amazing how that works!!!

    I am unable to make purchases using my Apple TV. I receive an error message that says "your credit card has expired. Go the the iTunes store on your computer and update your Billing info."
    However my account is up to date. My credit card expiration date is years in the future. I make purchases all the time through iTunes store (music, apps, etc..)
    Any thoughts?

    I have the same problem. My info is updated. I can purchase music from my apple tv, and from iTunes. I can also purchase movies from the iTunes store and transfer them to apple TV, but unable to purchase directly from apple tv.
    One fix in the short term is to purchase a movie from the iTunes store and then transfer it to the apple tv. It's a longer process, but gets the job done.

    You've checked the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

    If nothing shows on your iTunes purchase history (you don't have a Mac and have any purchases in the Mac App Store), and you only have the one account, then you should contact your card issuer.

    We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    If you have a credit card on your account then it will need to be valid. If you don't have a card to replace it with then have you tried removing it from your account ? On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.
