The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is oen way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
Was your backup copy of your computer stolen as well? If not, then use it to put everything back

I want to transfer the music from my iPad, most of which is not purchased from iTunes, to the new computer (PC) but getting a message stating that the device is syched to another computer. Sync transfer is one way, computer to device, matching the device content to the content on the computer (except purchased content as mentioned above). For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you have to use third party commercial software. Do not regard your i-device as a reliable unique storage for your media. It is not a backup device and everything is structured around you maintaining a backup of your media on a computer backup.

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. Otherwise you can "deauthorize all" from your iTunes account.
Open iTunes on a computer
From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under "Computer Authorizations" select "Deauthorize All".
Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "deauthorize all" your authorized computers, authorize each one as required.

I think you can consider reporting this matter to your local police. Then they can contact Skype to request for possible information or assistance. Skype will only provide sensitive information such us user's IP address to the proper law enforcement bodies.

What randers4 said. HOWEVER, if the photos were taken with a higher resolution camera than the iPhone what you recover will not be as high a resolution as the originals.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Yes, it could be spam. I get spam text from time to time. Yes, you both could have gotten the same spam at the same time. Spammers re sending out thousands and thousands of messages.
