The right way is to restore the backup that you kept of your old computer onto your new one. If it is too late for that before you do anything set up a backup process for the new one so when it crashes (note I said "when", not "if") you won't be faced with this problem again.
In lieu of that the apps already mentioned will help you get content off the phone if it was not purchased from iTunes. But it it WAS purchased from iTunes just connect the phone to your new computer, Authorize iTunes on the new computer and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes file menu.

Sorry, but the apps are tied to the former iTunes Store account, and if your ex wife was granted ownership, you no longer have a legal right to the apps and will have to purchase them again through your own new iTunes Store account.

I bought a new iPhone 5 a few months ago, and havnet plugged it into my itunes until now, and I do not want to set it up as a new phone, because it will get rid of everything I already have on there, but I also dont want to restore from my last backup with my old iPhone 4. You should simply transfer everything from your iphone to your computer. Then you can sync it back. -

The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintan a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything back. -

Sorry, but you cannot. If you have a current backup in iTunes then you can restore it.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

How do I switch to iMap from POP3 without losing everything?
I now use 2 Macs, 2 OSes, SL & ML on separate hard drives and also have an iPod Touch.
Checking the large amount of mail I get has become a real chore, so I would like to switch to iMap from POP3 but want:
1. To archive all my mail first (just in case)
2. Make the change without losing anything
3. Sync it with my iPod Touch (may be tricky with the SL HDD).
Any tips?

Restore your media and other important files from the backup of the old computer. iDevices are not backup devices.
If you failed to maintain a backup, you may be able to download past purchases from iTunes. -

Open System Preferences from the menu.
Then choose the "Language & Text" tab.
Then choose "Input Sources".
If you first check "Swiss German", you will be able to uncheck the UK layout. Or you can keep both and be able to switch rapidly between them if you check "Show Input method in menu bar".

I updated to the iOS6, and it allows you to view and send messages with any phone on iOS6 and linked to your iTunes account. You can unselect phones so they dont go out through the phone, but is there a way to block other phones from adding yours? Example, I don't ind being able to see what my son is sending/receiving on his phone but I don't really want him to be abe to add my phone and see all my messages...

I have broken my laptop with my itunes on it and now i got myself a new laptop and im wondering how or is it possible to re download all my itunes data? would be a great help thank you.ohh srry used to talking like that at work but. when i mean flash it over. im talking about a flash drive. and just copy pasting it over into the folder you want.(u have direct connnect cables so theres no point to that lol).
umm as to it sorting itself out if the data isnt corrupted at all and you are using the same or newer ver. of itunes it should just put your library right back to the way it was on your other computer. if the itunes ver. is the same or newed than you will get a library error saying that the library was created by a newer ver. of itunes.
however if the data is corrupted ripping the music off from itune's media folder would be best. then just reload it. itune's media folder should be in the "my music" folder given you didn't change the name of the folder. if u still cannot find the files you are looking for. and u want to be safe then just type "iTunes Media" (no quotes) into your search bar when you have your old harddrive selected and it will auto find. though i hate doing it because windows search function works as fast as a legless horse...im very impatient and i can usually search through like every file in my computer before it finds anything even related to itunes lol.
umm yea should work lol.... mabey the clone just didn't copy that certain folder properly. after cloning i always reinstall all my more advanced programs. (not that itunes is advanced lolol)
so if you haven't gotten accostumed to your itunes library to much just replacing the folder with your old one could work (can always back up your old one so no harm in trying.) as long as u keep two of everything. than just screw around with it. you won't screw up any system files just by moving around libraries. might screw up your playlists but thats not that much of a loss unless you have like 100 gigs of music and each playlist sorts like different genres..(idk who would do this but eh someone mighta been bored enough at one point.) -
