Did you replace the HD yourself? If so what HD did you use?
You should be aware that the symptom you describe is likely to be because you've used an incompatible HD. The current Macs have the temperature sensor actually in the HD package, with a modified cable to connect to the logic board.
If the sensor is not in circuit, the fans will run full tilt all the time.
Also, if it was under warranty, I think you'll find you've just voided it.

Only the carrier that the iPhone was locked to can unlock. There you go, hacking void any support from this forum.

Know how many JPanel has been selected

Hi, i had somethings to do, and i really dont figure how to do it, i have an applet that is a kind of paint, and each draw is done on a new JPanel so is there a way to know which JPanel the user has select if i want to be able to select more than one JPanel. Dont know if you understand, my english isnt so good... Could be like a selection tool but i want to know which JPanel has been selected between x,y and width,height of a rectangle made with the mouse....

This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if you manually disconnect the device during the restore process. How do i access my inherited 27' Imac quad intel core when the pass words were not inherited as well?

I recently inherited a very new 27" quad4 intel based Imac. My brother has it set up to open with password only. Unfortunately we have not been able to find any passwords and so I am unable to use this Imac. I tried a reinstall which it did then still came up with the need for the password. Hello Beverley. Try the following to reset the password.
Insert the 10.6 DVD.
Restart the Mac while pressing down the C key. This launches the OS X installer.
On the first screen, choose your language and then click the Next arrow (or hit Return).
On the Install screen, choose Utilities > Reset Password.
When the Reset Password screen appears, click the hard drive that contains Mac OS X.
From the first pop-up menu, choose the name of your account.
Now make up a new password and type it into both boxes.
Click Save, close the window, click the installer, and restart.

you need to create a summary column with count function for a column in your select query. then u can print that formula column to know the no of rows selected in a query for a report

The link for the word 'HERE' directs to a Evergreen School District page, which outside of Mobile Me and/or Aperture. Your school district network might be intercepting the request from Aperture and displaying the 'network authentication page' that you see, instead of the email. I would get with the IT department to see if they can help you get around this.
Have you also tried using the 'Tell a Friend' feature from another network location, like starbucks or your home?

Does anybody know how many seconds the Cross Fade is on an iPod Nano 4/5th Generation?

In Settings > Playback > Audio Crossfade - when you turn this to 'On' does anyone know how many seconds the crossfade is for?
I can't find anything online, it's not in the iPod manual and no-one at my local Apple Store knows!

It depends on how long the song(s) is.
For example: I listen to On My Level by Wiz Khalifa and the song last for 4:35 so at the last 6-3 seconds it will crossfade to the next song and you'll missout of the first few seconds of the next song.

Doubtful unless your carrier has an app that includes the option.
My carrier has an app that I can check current usage and past usage with a previous bill and pay the bill.

My son foolishly pressed a single digit till it just filled the text box of the passcode. Now i dont know how many times he has pressed it. If I can know the charcter length, or how many digits can just fill the text box of passcode, I can unlock my ipad2. If anyone reading this has ipad2, he can do the same thing and count how many digits will just fill the text box. I will really appreciate the help.

You can put the iPad into Recovery mode and Restore it. See this link and note the sentence commencing, 'If you restore from a different computer.... ' down near the bottom of the page.

I can count the send item. But let me try to explain why did I ask this question.
I had a trouble in sending e-mails from icloud on 22/2 and when I saw in my send item there were no emails.
But the mesgs to whom I emailed received and out of which only few of them didn't got the email. So I wanted to know the log abt the outflow of the mesg with subject and the receipants email id and the list with attachment or not.
How and where will I get the information apart from send item and draft mesg and the outflow undelivered?

Does anyone know how many times a newly purchased product (MB Air 2014) can be exchanged within the 14 day period? I feel like the MB Pro would be a better fit for me, so I wanted to exchange my Air for the Pro. But also, if I end up not liking the Pro and want to go back to an Air, would I be permitted to do so with another exchange? (all still within the 14 day window after purchase of course).
Also, are there any specifics I need to know in order to return my product and get a new one? Obvioulsy, I would be sure to remove all of my personal files, music, etc...but is there anything else I need to do?
And lastly, and im sure this question is irritating to you Mac wiz kids out there, but are the two models im comparing really all that different? I just cant make up my mind and would love some pointers/suggestions/tips/info to help me figure out what model is best for me (the apple employee that was helping me in the store was actually not that helpful at all, if they were I wouldnt have to ask this question on a discussion board). I do tons of multimedia things and download and enjoy music, tv shows, movies, all that stuff..and I used to love to burn dvds and cds (obviously cant do that with the MB Air now which totally bummed me out ). I sometimes have problems making big/important/expensive decisions lol I just really want to make sure i am getting the best model for all of my daily tasks and all of the things i actually do regularly on my computer.

Just play with each and figure out which one you want. I believe they only allow 1 exchange unless it is a defect issue. You can always return the exchanged item and rebuy what you want if they will not allow you to do multiple exchanges.
But again, you need to really figure out which one you want.
