Hi,
in my new iphone 4S ,whenever i download any app,its asking for registration.They were asking for postal code.If i give correct postal code also,its not accepting.Please help me out of this issue.

M:N Relation and plural name for associative Table

Hi,
I'm using DM 3.1.4
In my logical model, 2 entities and an M:N relation. I define a name for this relation
Entity Student
Entity Stage
Relation Registration
I create a glossary with plural form for these three names (entities name and relation name) :
Student --> STUDENTS
Stage --> STAGES
Registration --> REGISTRATIONS
When I generate relationnal model with "apply name translation" option, my two tables are named correctly with the plural name, but the associative table is named with the relation name (registration), not with the plural form (REGISTRATIONS)
Is this a bug ? Is there another way to automatically define plural name for an associative table ?

thanks for reporting the problem. I logged a bug for that.
There is no another way for setting a plural name for intersection table. If you switch to 3.3 then you can set the name manually and lock it so it cannot be changed further.

Windows reboots immediately when I start iTunes

The Problem: When I click on the iTunes icon to start up the software, my computer restarts IMMEDIATELY. There is no error message, the computer does not freeze, and there is no indication that an iTunes window opened at all, even briefly. The screen just goes black and the boot information comes up right away, as if I had pressed the reset button on my case.
My Computer: My computer is a custom built windows XP Pro, SP2, 1G RAM, 2.2 Ghz AMD processor, 3 hard drives -- the bootable drive (C:) is 4G with about 1G of available space and runs at 7200 RPM. The other 2 drives are large (~80G each) and also run at 7200 RPM.
Attempted Solutions, so far: I have spent hours on the phone with Apple support about this already. They walked me though the msconfig process (turning off all other processes and rebooting), I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, Quicktime and Quicktime standalone many, many times. Obviously, nothing has worked, since I'm posting here that I still have a problem.
I have also run regclean, updated the Windows Installer, updated my Virus checker (Avast), and installed and run ewido (no malware detected--I keep a clean computer).
Ideosynchracies and Notables: 2 things are important to note.
1) The very first time this happened, I tried to uninstall iTunes and reinstall. I went into the "Add and Remove Programs..." dialog in the control panel and hit "Remove" for iTunes. Nothing happened. I rebooted and tried again. Still nothing. Only after mucking around for a while and trying to install over top of the existing iTunes, etc. did I finally get it to uninstall. That was iTunes 5, which came on the CD with my iPod nano. Henceforth, I have been working with iTunes 6, downloaded from Apple's website instead.
2) Even before I had a problem, iTunes opened successfully. In fact, I have opened iTunes 3 times successfully. Each time I have been able to open it has been after a clean install of the software. That is, I uninstall the previous copies of both iTunes and Quicktime, reboot, install Quicktime standalone, uninstall that, reboot, reinstall iTunes+Quicktime, reboot, and then open iTunes. It works! (Yay.) But then if I close iTunes and try opening it again, my computer crashes right away (described above). This occurrs whether I reboot between the 1st time and 2nd time or not. If I do not uninstall iTunes completely (and Quicktime), then reinstall them fresh each time, I can't open iTunes. Since this process takes about an hour to accomplish, this is clearly not an acceptable way to use iTunes.
Ultimatum: I will not reinstall windows XP. That is a 40 hour task I am not willing to undertake. In addition to the numerous games I have installed, each of which requires multiple patches to be applied after installing off the CD, I dislike many of the default configurations of Windows and it takes me a while to go though all the settings and change them to my preferences.
Additional notes:
- My OS (Win XP) is an upgrade from Win 98. This should not make a difference, as the upgrade was done over a year ago and I've never had any problem. Nevertheless, the tech support on the phone told me that this was probably the problem and that I needed to contact Microsoft to have them solve my iTunes crashing dilemma. (Yeah, right. I told him there was no way he was pinning the blame on MS for this, since it never happened until I bought an iPod and the crash only occurs when I launch iTunes).
- Before my iPod, I hated Quicktime for the nasty things it did to another computer of mine (basically, when you install it it leaves bits of itself behind that run in the background and report things back to QT. This was years ago and maybe it doesn't anymore, but it left a sour feeling with me, so I avoid QT when I can now--Real, too. Same problem.) So instead of Quicktime, I used to use a program called Quicktime Alternative. It's basically the codecs for QT, but without some of the bloat. I've used QTA for nearly 4 years now, in various versions, and never had a problem with them, but it is conceivable that there could be some bad interaction between the real and alternative versions of QT. However, I removed the QTA from my system, and have installed and uninstalled the real QT many times now, and opening the real QT browser does not cause any problems on my machine.
My thoughts on the matter:
- Since iTunes can start up successfully after a fresh install, but then crashes once I close/reopen it, I'm thinking that there's a setting that it's trying to set after the initial installation. It would probably be related to registration or something like that. I'm not sure what iTunes tries to do after the first use, but the problem could be with that. (On first use each time it asks me some personal information and gives a "Welcome to iTunes..." message. It is likely that after that, it tries to store 1 more setting somewhere and that's what's causing the problem.)
- Since iTunes crashes the whole computer (not just itself), and the crash happens IMMEDIATELY when I click the icon, I'm guessing there could be a conflicting registry that is preventing iTunes from opening, and in fact sending a reboot signal to the OS.
So, any one have similar experiences, proposed solutions or other helpful advice?

I typed WINVER in the RUN option, and it shows Version 6.1 (Build 7600). It does not say Service Pack 1. I check the other computer I share iTunes with and it shows the same version/build.

ERP invoice with reference to SRM Basic Contract?

In SAP SRM you can create a shopping cart or a PO with reference to a SRM Basic Contract by setting the item number to 0 like: 4700000107/0
But with the new Ehp1 SAP states that ERP invoices can be created with reference to a SRM central contract (via SRM_SERVICE_PROC_1). But can you create the invoice with reference to contract item 0?
The idea is to have the non PO related invoices registrered on the basic contract in SRM along with the PO's. A basic contract can't be copied to ERP, as there is no lines on it, but is the ERP contract copy needed for this scenario?
So two questions:
- is the ERP contract copy from SRM needed to use the Ehp1 functionality of creating invoices with reference to a SRM contract?
- can the ERP invoice be created with reference to a basic SRM contract by giving the contract item as 0 or in another way?

With SRM 70 EHP1 you can create ERP invoice against your SRM Central Contract distributed to ERP.
To enable this you need to do few settings in ERP, for the same you can refer to the config guides available at Service market place for SRM701 releases.
Configuring Contract Handling for Invoices : You use this procedure to configure contract handling for invoices in the SAP ERP system. You have activated the Procurement - SRM Integration 2 (LOG_MM_P2PSE_2) business function in the SAP ERP system.
Steps :
1. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under : Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Incoming Invoice -- Activate Direct Posting to Contracts , to allow direct references to contracts when creating invoices and parking documents.
2. In Customizing for SAP ERP, perform the activity under : Materials Management -- Logistics Invoice Verification -- Invoice Block -- Set Tolerance Limits , to set the tolerance key for contracts (PC: Price variance for contract).
The feature is termed as Invoice Reconciliation here.

Workspace cannot register itself with Shared Services

I'm installing EPM 11.1.1.1.0 on Windows 2003 Server EE (virtual environment: VMware 2). After installing shared services and workspace succesfully (from all three packages of Foundation Services) I have ran EPM System Configurator. I've set succesfully two database repositores (on Oracle 10.2.0.4), but running configuration returns with erorr which states that Workspace related task: "Registration with Shared Services" fails. In configuration logs I've found:

ReadObject query by idfr does not work first call

I am running Toplink 10.1.3.0.0 inside the oc4j container. A basic example is that I have an object Employee that has a String attribute id. This class goes to the employee table. I have set an Expression in the Toplink Workbench to do Read Object and it just checks that id = the idfr passed in as an argument. When running the query by the idfr in the container, the idfr is set as the argument and the data exists in the database. With Toplink logging turned onto FINE I see the query being run "select xyz from employee where idfr = x". But the return value from the query is null. But if I run the query through a second time it returns with the correct object. I have tried changing this to a Read All query, and then just accessing the 0th element from the List returned, and this seems to work fine. I am still concerned, though, as to why the Read Object query does not work on the first go around as is expected?

Any reason you set the Read Object query? The Expression you've provided is the same as what TopLink generates.
Out of interest, does the problem occur if your primary key attribute is an int/long, or some other numeric type. Does your String attribute value or query id value have trailing or leading spaces? Oracle database will trim leading and trailing blanks on INSERT/UPDATE which can lead to confusion.
Turn the logging up to FINEST and look for log messages relating to registration of existing objects. If you can post the test code and log that would help.

Nested MC's position regarding stage

Arrgh! Here it is.
I have a master MC that's added to the stage via
addChild(p2_mc).
Inside that p2_mc, i have others MC'S (added to the stage
manually, not via addChild).
One of them is instanced fond_mc
I want to position that fond_mc in the middle of the stage
using that line of code WHEN the stage is resized. Obviously, the
following line is into the resize function:
fond_mc.x = stage.stageWidth/2;
I works but returning faulty results because it uses left
corner of the mc instead of registration point, which is top and
center.
I tried all math formula i could think of to no results.
Keeps positionning the fond_mc wrongly.
I know this is related to registration OR stage measurement.
Is there a way to reset stage.stageWidth values INSIDE the
resize function?

The problem is WHEN i resizes, the children clips INSIDE the
container has no references that i can understands.
As i said, when i add this inside the resize function at root
level, it works:
p2_mc.x = stage.stageWidth/2;
because in my test files, p2_mc is added BEFORE the resize
function kicks off. And the childs move accordingly around the
stage.
But in my project file, p2_mc is dynamically created only
when the user press a button. Therefore, the resize function isnt
seeing p2_mc first hands and gives me error.
I want to avoid adding ALL of my navigation clips to the
stage on frame 2 (after the preloader) and BEFORE resize function
is run. That would work i guess, but ill have to manually rendering
them visible or not.

Can't Install Captivate 4 Trial

I am trying to install the Captivate 4 Trial (I have
Captivate 3 on another laptop). Upon setup I get error message,
"Installation can't proceed until the following applications are
closed: AdobeCaptivate.exe" But I do not have Captivate running
anywhere. I formerly had Captivate 3 on this laptop, but removed it
and also removed any related files, registries etc. just to prevent
a conflict. Can anyone tell me what I am missing?

Proper Way to Uninstall LR 3 when LR 4.1 is Installed

What is the most effective way to uninstall LR 3 when I also have LR 4.1 installed on my Macbook Pro using OS 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion). I want to make sure there are no trailing files left when uninstalling LR3 so that it is a very clean delete. Please provide the best way to do this (which may not necessarily be the easiest way).

As far as I have found usually only items related to registration and preferences which have not caused an issues formy system.

I am trying to install the Captivate 4 Trial (I have

Also note, you will need the 32 bit version of PPT 2013 installed, as the 64 bit version is not supported. As such, you will need to install the 32 bit version of Presenter.

Query related to supplier registration

Hi,
During the supplier registration process can we rate the supplier based on the questionnaire which they have completed and submitted, means is it possible to convert the data i recieve from the supplier in the questionnaire to numberic format and then decide whether to approve or reject the supplier considering it as supplier rating.

IPT registration related problem

Dear i am facing a problem in my 7940 cisco IPT. It showing configuring IP but not getting ip, TFTP server IP and CCM IP.
I have ccm and dhcp is configur in my switch but after adding the IP Phone it dont get ip but the ccm list its show CiscoCM1 what is the problem? how can i solve the problem?
This problem is only for a perticular IPT. Other ph is working fine.

So I tried to change permissions of the Hard Disk with OS, then, one after another some windows appeared, here first of them, and a detail:
The system extension can´t be used
The system extension "/System/Library/ Extensions/ACard671xSCSI.kext" was not well instaled, the it can be used. Try to reinstal it or contact manofacturer to obtain a update.

(NOTE: there were a lot of more windows related to differents extensions, some are: "Sustem/Library/Extensions/Apple BMC.Kext"; "(...)Apple EFI Runtime.kext" , "(...) AppleEFIRuntime.Kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleEFINVRAM-kext", etc. I have almost all captured, in case you need more details I can upload the as well).
Then, I turn off the computer (because it stop working with all those pop ups windows) and next time I tried to turn it on, it never restart again ( it turn in but never start the OS), therefore I restarted from the DVD.
4- What did you do when you restarted your mac from the dvd os?
   I just installed over the OS ( advised by a mac technitian), since then...

5- Does the mac see the external hard disk?

     What format is the external drive?
I have the external disk in technical service, they will try to repair it. It was in MacPlus (registrered) format, configured in Raid 0 ( two hard disk enclosed together and working as one). Now, to recaptured the tapes for the project I have purchase another hard disk ( 1 T and configured it with MacPlus (registrered) format), this new hard disk is well detected by my computer.
My version of OS is
Well, that all I can tell about what happen to me.
Now, as I have said, I can´t open the FC Project.
I have tried to clean the user profile of FC and it doesn´t work either... need some advise..., thanks for your help!!

Problem with Registration in iPad

Hi there,
I need some help! I've bought an iPad and when I tried to register in it for buying some software in Store, I got an message that said that I should have to contact itune support to finish registration. I think it is somehow related to my debit card as a problem appeared after I filled in my debit card information. Please help me to solve this problem. Do I really need to use only credit card here? Or are there any other solutions?

I'm almost positive that you can't use a debit card. I'm totally positive that you will do better talking directly to iTunes Customer Support than here in this user-user forum.

I cannot enter the key code for updating to QuickTime Pro 7 as there is no Icon in Preferences and no Registration option in menu?

I have followed the clear instructions to enter the purchased key code for QuickTime Pro 7. There are two options offered:-
1. Go into Preferences and select the QuickTime Player icon and enter the code that way.
2. Open QuickTime Player and open up ‘registration’ and enter the key code.
For whatever reason I have neither option available to me although QuickTime player is on my system and I use it regularly. It is version 10 build (118). I have run software updates and there is no upgrade available. I have downloaded the latest version and tried to load it but this fails because the system finds a version already available. I have attempted to uninstall but whilst it moves it from the Application folder, it remains on the Mac as it is part of the system files. So I cannot use the Pro version. The iMac is a 27” Intel about a year old and has all the software updates available to me installed.
Any offers for suggestions or past experiences that can help me overcome this conundrum?

Both answers were spot on. I made the mistake yesterday of downloading the version for Leopard in my haste. I also thought the issue was related to having to uninstall the current version X.
So the moral of the episode is check the version you have and make certain you download the correct version for your system. All works now.
