hi,
       i want this problem sorted out, if any one can help it will be so kind of,
i have declared a internal table with a varialbe v_val as type i and i have have appended values randomly as ( 1,8,6,9,4,2,5,3 and 7)
the list is printed.
now i want this random list to be displayed in DESCENDING ORDER, WITHOUT USING SORT STATMENT.
did try various methods but unfortuantely couldnt get the solution, pls kindly someone write the rest code for the same at the earliest possibility, will be really nice of you. Thanks.

    But,in OBIEE we have a function PERCENTILE()
    It will give the percentage of each value in the total sum of all the values.

  • Help needed at the earliest( PP, SD, MM or BW)

    Hello guys,
    I have done my Master of Science in Supply Chain Systems from a university in NY, and want to enroll for training in SAP, although, I have a difficult deciding the module I should go for. My background permits me to learn PP and MM. I am also looking at SD and BW.
    I do not want to make a decision based solely upon my background here because I am not keenly interested in making a career in Supply Chain systems. Will it then be best for me to learn BW?
    I also wanted to know as far as the job market is concerned , which module has the most demand and jobs out there? Also from what I understand, BW will be having jobs in other areas than only manufacturing, as opposed to MM or PP because it is Business Intelligence.Please Help me make a decision in this regard,

    Hi,
    Since you are not very keen on leveraging your background, the decision should be based on going onto technical or functional roles. BW is a techno functional role where you need to know bit of both sides, but more on technical side.
    PP, MM, SD are functional roles which need more business knowledge. APO is the best choice based on your back ground as it really take advantage of your knowledge in supply chain systems. PP also aligns with your back ground.
    But other than APO and PP, you may not find much advantage for your background. SAP R/3 is a transaction oriented system where pure academic knowledge may not be much use. At the same time, once you are trained properly, you can work on any module.

    I have a rule that requires me to find the BEGDA on IT0167 of the earliest contiguous record (with respect to the current record) on which a given dependent has coverage with the current plan.
    Is there a way to search all of the DIDXX/DTYXX fields in a single SELECT statement or perhaps a function module?
    Any recommendations on how to do this, please?

  • Software needed for the USB device, "USB Interface Controller TEST2.0"

    My mother recently acquired a digital camera. She acquired it from a second-hand store, which did not include an interface cable or software. The manual (and the USB port on the camera) indicates that a male-male USB cable is necessary for photos to be copied to the hard drive.
    I was not successful in locating such a cable at any local electronics store (I assume such a cable is now out-of-date). I purchased one from a seller on eBay. The brand is "e circuit electronics".
    Upon powering up the camera with the cable connected to it and the computer, the following message appeared:
    "Software needed for the USB device "USB Interface Controller TEST2.0" is not available. Would you like to look for the software on the Internet?"
    I clicked "Yes". After an approximate two-minute wait, another message appeared stating:
    "Software Update is not able to connect to the Internet. Please check your configuration and try again."
    I deleted, "Software Update Preferences" in the Preferences folder inside the System Folder, without solving the problem. How do I solve the issue of allowing Software Update to connect to the Internet?

    Thank you for your continued assistance, BDAqua. Unfortunately, the driver you linked to does not seem to be compatible with the camera. It is a driver for the V20 model, whereas my model would correspond to be a V2755, as referenced from a list of other Vivicam models when during a search at the Open Drivers web site.
    From the system requirement about the card reader you gave me, it will not work, as this system is running 9.1. I am hesistant to upgrade this computer to 9.2, as I have experienced system unstability with that version, with even the 9.2.2 update applied.
    In the mean time, I have e-mailed Vivitar regarding this issue, but have as of yet received a reply.
    I am not certain as to other specifics to give you, in order to solve the Software Update problem. Please elaborate.
    Yes eww, the computer in question is able to fully connect to the Internet for all that I need. I am fully aware of the difference between a computer connecting to the Internet, and a computer connecting to a digital camera. I have 15 years of Macintosh experience.

    According to this wikipedia article, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history, you need an iPod Touch 3rd generation or iPad 1st generation as minimum to run iOS 5.1. However, if you are going to get a new (or newish) device, I would recommend getting a more recent model for a bit of future proofing - the next time the BBC updates the app it will probably raise the minimum version of iOS too.

    Really need some help as hitting a dead end, hopefully someone here can help as always :-)
    I'm trying to differentiate between old and new recipients on an email chain when a user replies / forwards an email.  e.g. if a user receives an email with a few other people cc'd, selects reply all and then adds another new recipient before sending,
    I want to be able to be able to get the email address of just the new recipient added.
    One way I thought of was to look at the email body and see if the email / display name appears in the From: CC: headers that appear at the top of the previous message, however the user might have deleted these and also the new recipient may have the same
    display name as an existing one, so this won't work.
    Maybe there is a way to use the headers of the composed email before sending and compare to on the send event?  Do the headers on send give any indication as to previous recipients vs new ones?

    New items don't have the PR_TRANSPORT_MESSAGE_HEADERS set.

    Nope. You need to check out the source message. The
    ReplyRecipients property of the MailItem class returns a Recipients collection
    that represents all the reply recipient objects for the Outlook item.
    Or you may handle the Reply actions in the code. For example, you may consider repurposing the Reply buttons on the UI. See
    Temporarily Repurpose Commands on the Office Fluent Ribbon for more information.

    My business has used Adobe products for 15 years. I am a big fan. But I wish to continue purchasing the Production Bundle line of products with perpetual licenses. I have no need for the Cloud. I also want to upgrade from my current version of CS6 as I have done in the past, for about $350. Month to month rental does not work for my business. I also dont feel paying $600 for the Cloud is appropriate since my standard yeaarly upgrades are usually $350. If you folks dont give me a choice I will have to end my use of Adobe software. Many other professionals feel the same way. Please give us an option for ownership. Otherwise you may find you have a mass exodus from folks that have happily purchased your product for years.

    If you want to be able to create year over year reports, create budgets based on history, etc. you can't just start with opening balances for your GL accounts. You need to create past periods and load history amounts. That's all.
    My clients typically want to be able to answer questions like 'How much higher (or lower) are sales this month than sales in the same month last year?' So for a client who 'went live' with SAP on January 1, 2009, I would create 12 periods for 2008 and enter their monthly balances for their GL accounts.

    My Time Machine now shows the earliest available Back-up to be after the Migration Date.   My iPhoto pictures seem to have either been lost in the migration process or are locked in my Time Machine prior to the earliest back-up date now accessible.  
    Any advice on recovering my old iPhoto pictures would be greatly appreciated.

    First go to iPhoto Preferences, look in both General and Advanced tabs to make sure that things are set to import from camera into iPhoto.
    Then if that doesn't help, connect the camera and open Image Capture in your Applications > Utilities folder and see if you can use Image Capture to reset the import path from the camera to iPhoto.

    If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.

        I think that the best way to find out what you need to know would be to contact Sony.  We aren't as familiar with specific cameras as the camera manufacturers are.  Sony would know if it were possible for you to take images while the camera is plugged into the computer.  If you have questions about our software or want to know about our framegrabber cards let us know.  Thank you!

I just want to use a picture as my DVD cover, and then insert a slideshow. Also, when I try to burn my 8.5gb double sided slideshow, all that burns is the music. It is a large slideshow, a memorial on the life of my now deceased brother. This means a lot to me and to my family, and I am having so much trouble trying to burn it. I have gone into Project View and selected appropriately. The bar shows I have room to burn this DVD, but it does not burn.  I have burned so many DVDs in the past, but this one just will not burn. I am so confused at this point. I will say this is the first 8.5gb I have attempted to create and burn. My specs list a 7.7gb or 4.7gb as operable....but there are no 7.7gb dvds. I had to purchase 8.5gb. Help? What am I doing wrong? I have spent so much time on this, and just cannot figure it out.

    Final Cut is a separate, higher end video editor.  The pro version of iMovie.
    Give iPhoto a look at for creating the slideshow.  It's easy to assemble the photos in an album in iPhoto, put them in the order you want and then make a slideshow of them.  You can select from various themes and transitions between slides and add music from your iTunes library.
    When you have the slidshow as you want use the Export button at the bottom of the iPhoto window and export with Size = Medium or Large.
    Save the resulting Quicktime movie file in your Movies folder.
    Next, open iDVD, choose your theme and drag the QT movie file into the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
    Then follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
    Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image  menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process. 
    To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it.  If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
    Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality.  Always use top quality media:  Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
    The reason I suggest iPhoto is that I find it much easier to use than iMovie (except for the older iMovie 6 HD version).  Personal preferences showing here.

    If your computer is running an OS X prior to Snow Leopard 10.6,
    the answer (if it is an Intel-based Mac; not old PowerPC model)
    would be to buy the retail Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD from Apple
    for about $20, and install it. Then update that to 10.6.8 by using
    the installed Snow Leopard online to get Combo Update v1.1 for
    Snow Leopard 10.6.8. After that is installed & updated, run the
    system's Software Update again, to see what else is available to
    that system.
    Later systems can then be looked into at Mac App Store, once
    the computer is running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
    And if your computer is a Power PC (G4/G5, etc) and has no
    Core2Duo kind of CPU -- See "About this Mac" in apple menu
    to disclose the general info about your Mac. Also you can see
    even more by clicking on "More Info" when looking in there...
    If it isn't an Intel-based Mac, it can't run a system past 10.5.8.

    You can certainly use iWork, though I hesitate to recommend it to a seasoned Windows user simply because it would add another level of the unfamiliar with which you would have to gain familiarity. The iWork applications are certainly very competent and in most respects both easy to use and surprisingly powerful. They are not 100% compatible however, though that typically manifests itself in document formatting issues rather than anything more significant.
    I have never attempted to import emails from a Windows system into MacOS - other than in Outlook connected to an Exchange server, thus not really an issue at all. I doubt that the Mail app in MacOS can import directly, but of course you could always set the account(s) up on the Mac and then forward emails you want to keep from the PC. Not elegant, but it works. Virtually any Windows document or file, whichever application created it, can be opened or converted for use on a Mac, and using both systems on my desk each day I rarely see any issues switching stuff from one machine to the other. You may stumble over one or two issues, but likely not significant.
    In switching platforms there will be some inevitable issues, not so much with being able to import your stuff because there's usually a workaround or a utility that can help, but just with getting familiar with the platform and the differences between Windows and MacOS that can obscure their similarities. From time to time the support community here hears from a user who has found the migration very problematic and regrets it, but for the most part the phrase 'I should have done this years ago...' is rather more prevalent!
