Hi-rez photos coming thru pixelated/ unable to edit.

So, on my Ipad 2, several photos imported thru Iphoto are being rendered pixelated and when any edits are attempted, the photo app crashes. photos saved on the ipad thru its camera or saved from emails and safari are fine. i double checked my iphoto library and the jpg files are perfectly fine. Can someone please advise?

Does anyone know how to resolve my question (first paragraph in original posting) regarding uneditable calendar items on iPhone (with regards to syncing through iCloud)? Thanks.

Have a look at your import setting specifically Store Files:
Make sure it is set to where you want the originals to go.
Message was edited by: Frank Caggiano - Don;t empty the system trash. The originals that you deleted from the Desktop are in there and are the only copies you have unless they are still in the camera.

This is unlike the behavior of iPhoto '09 and previous versions, which would make the current copy the new "Original".

That is correct - you must NEVER make any changes of any sort to the content or structure of the iPhoto library using third party programs that are not fully i{Photo aware and tested - and you certainly should never do any operations on the iPhoto library without a backup

iPhoto has NEVER done that to the best of my knowledge - iPhoto diet may have and may not with iPhoto '11 - that is a subject for iPhoto diet support - not iPhoto support

No you must either put the library back exactly like it was, load your backup or start over

What part of this warning did you not see as important?
To prevent this issue:
*Leave the contents of your iPhoto Library folder alone, and allow iPhoto to manage the images as designed.*
Update to iPhoto 5.0.1 or later. This update will prevent the loss of non-RAW images, but it does not eliminate issues with RAW files.
*Minimize the risk of image loss by keeping good backups:*
Export your current library as a backup copy.
*Back up new photos as soon as possible after taking them.*
If you already have good backup habits and copies of all your images outside of iPhoto, then obviously there is no need to export your current library. _*For those of you who haven't been backing up, exporting your current library will start you on the right path.*_

There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. *Permissions in the Library* : Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. *Minor Database corruption*: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. *A Damaged Photo*: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. *A corrupted iPhoto Cache*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/Library/ Caches...
5. *A corrupted preference file*: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
*If none of these help*:
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

Batch edit photos coming from iPhone 4s

I use iPhoto and iCloud to gather and organize photos taken with my new iPhone 4s. It works really well apart from the fact that when compared to pictures taken with my DSLR the iPhone photos are too "warm". I would like to make a standard adjustement of the temperature for all photos coming from the iPhone. Is there a way to do this in iPhoto, with a batch edit f.i.? If not, are there other tools that can help? I would like to keep the workflow as simple as possible. All suggestions are welcome.

Editing a Photo makes it Pixelated

When I edit a photo on my 4s, and select "enhance", the photo becomes severly pixelated. When I save it, and re-open it, it's still severly pixelated. If I then click on "Edit", the picture looks normal, but there's no way to save and recall it in it's normal resolution. I know it's in there somewhere in the proper resolution, but the display is never right.

I Think the answer is yes. I have tried it and edits are synced across all my devices.

I have an iPad 2 v6.1.3 that has a problem with connecting to wi-fi. My other I macs have no problem with connecting. The pad keeps coming up with unable to join the network. Nothing has changed with passwords--it just refuses to join my secure network.

My other Imacs and my wife's Ipad 3 have no problem with conneccting. My Ipad keeps coming up with unable to join the network. Is there a way to reconfigure the Ipad to fix this major problem, as we dropped our carrier (saved a bunch of money) and just went wifi.

The menu selection only shows the other options if you already have a selection active; a selection made with one of the available tools like lasso or quick selection. First select with the tools, then use the menu 'Select'.

Can't access emails on my iPhone even tho coming thru on my iPad.

Its POP and I have now clicked the leave on server but that still doesnt seem to have helped (but gave me a start so thanks). I have now tested it by not letting email arrive in outlook - I can then see emails on phone, Then receiving emails in outlook - in that scenario they are not visible on my phone. Unable to edit photos

After hard reset, I am unable to edit photos as the EDIT tab is no more. Opening user guide and clicking PHOTO EDITOR gives a message - UNABLE TO OPEN APPLICATION.
What has probably gone wrong?

Please contact a Nokia Care Point to have them rewrite the phone software for you. Please use Nokia Suite to create a complete backup (through Tools/Backup) of your phone before you do though as this action will completely erase all content from your phone. When asked deselect the option to include settings in the backup.
You can restore the backup when you return from the Care Point after which you can also re-install your apps from Nokia Store. Your will find your paid apps here.
