i've asked Telstar for unlock my new iphone from their network because i'm going overseas, they told me it's was done and i have to wait for 72 hours, after that connect my iphone to itunes and restored.
i have done everything but still have problem with my new overseas sim car,
can you help because i need my phone

Launch the Terminal app, copy & paste this command into the window that pops up, and hit the return key. At the Password: prompt, carefully enter your admin password, since nothing shows up on the screen, and hit the return key.
sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/
Then, copy & paste these next two, one at time, into the window and hit the return key after each:
sudo chmod a+rx /Volumes/*
killall Finder
Quit the Terminal app and try installing again.

I am having the problem . it says it shouldnt take more than 3 minutes then i get this message Could not activate iphone. i have taken the sim card out and put it back in even then its of no use. if any one out there can help us it would be very nice

I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". After two minutes of waiting IM getting message: Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server in temporary unavailable. try connecting to iTunes or try later or contat apple.com/support.
Like I mention, I went to Bell as well Rogers store and tried to insert active SIM card with no results.

Some country's might not include tax in their prices, and if you changed or added your credit card details whilst making the purchase then a small temporary holding charge may also have been placed - in which case that should disappear within a few days (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702). Some apps also then allow you to make in-app purchases (though you can disable that via Settings > General > Restrictions)

My Mac book pro , 13 " which I bought in late 2011 , iOS 6 system, today suddenly can't start at all after I try to sync with my iPhone . Anybody there can help me urgently .?....I have tried repeatedly to switch off and then switch on the power button , but to no avail .... I really don't know what is going on ? So far , it never give this type of problem.

i have already try the copy/paste thing with the ID of the file "iTunes Music Library.xml" it didn't change a thing. each time I relaunched Itunes, the ID is the first I have in the MAC.
I have more than 5 000 files of music. I don't want to recreate one by one all my playlits.

You can sync iphone with one and only one computer at a time. If you sync to another, it will erase the current content and replace with content form the new computer. There is no way around this.
Put everything on one computer and sync from there.
BTW, you posted in the Home Share forum. Your question seems to have nothing to do with home share.

Only the carrier to which your phone is locked to can unlock it provided that the carrier offers this service. Contact your carrier for unlocking.

There are two versions of the current iPad, the WiFi only (which will work anywhere in the world, but only connect to WiFi networks) and the 3G/4G model. The latter will connect to 3G networks worldwide, as I understand it, but the only 4G networks it can connect to are in the US and Canada.

EUREKA, I found the solution to my problem in a Discussion initiated by gingertodd on July 27, 2011 entitled "Safari in Lion hijacked by malware." The solution was provided by Badunit who recommended force quitting Safari and then reopening it while holding down the Shift key. It worked instantly, and I subsequently was able to open Safari normally by just clicking on its icon in the Dock. THANK YOU BADUNIT!

Are you checking from within the Apps section of iTunes on your computer? Is there a reason you can't download it directly to the iPhone?

Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.
