Hi this S G Patil an ABAP Consultant

In the report RFDKLI40 of credit over view ,which is standard program ,when i run the program giving the credit acc no,credit control area and key date im getting open items (lets same some X value) now for same credit acc no,credit control area but different key date again same open items are displaying can anyone plz find where is the problem and how to write the solution i didnt find in OSS Notes plz explain the steps and where and how to enhance the code

You can use the following three options depending on what is required. You should copy your report into a new test report and practice with it before you actually delete anything in the real report:
1. To show a hidden column in the report definition, from inside GRR2 choose Edit -> Columns -> Hidden columns -> Show. Then you should be able to see all hidden columns
2. To delete a column entirely click on the column and choose Edit -> Elements -> Delete
3. To delete a formula from within a column, double click on the formula column name you can see the formula. Then you can click on the formula line and then hit the delete button on press shift+F2.

plz let me know in which transaction we can c service order no: and contract no: and if possible tell me the table relations also...
In which transaction ,can we calculate external, internal labor and material cost for a service.... i
i have gone thru iw32, iw 33,va42,va43.

Dear Madhavi,
the service orders can be linked to the sales order in Make-To-Order (assembly) and in Repair-Order process. These processes are absolutely different from the SD point of view, but here some general points:
The button "Service Order" can be observed in the transaction VA02 or VA03, if you go to the sales order, then mark the item and go to the schedule line screen. Under the schedule lines you can see three buttons. The first button from the right side should be "Service Order" if the service order is linked directly to the sales order.
The interface between Sd and CS is the function module CO_61_ORDER_EDIT
It is in the case you want to debug.
On the database, please check the field VBEP-AUFNR for the corresponding sales order and sales order item.

1.Analyze/Understand the Functional Specs.
2.Prepare the Tech Specs based on the Functional Specs(Given from Functional people/Team Lead}
3.Start coding/write program in DEVELOPMENT Server.
4.Unit Testing
5.Send to Quality Server.(By transporting from Development server)
6.Once it get approved from ur Team Lead , it will be moved to PRODUCTION Server.
7. Prepare the documentation.

I'm an ABAP consultant, I've worked on Implementation Projects till now. Last one was on ECC 6.0.
I have been assigned to an upgrade project (from 4.6 to ECC 6.0).
So can anybody let me know what is the role and what are the responsibilites of an ABAP consultant in an Upgrade Project?

1) Code fixes and bugs for upgrade objects
2) SPAU / SPDD corrections
3) removal of obselete statements by checking through the code inspector or EPC
4) replacing the BDC on enjoy transactions with BAPI
5) replacing the call transaction on obselet transactions with the corresponding new transactions.

The abap consultant's role is to customizing the standard suit accoring client's buisness. Also there may be many 3rd party systems involve in for the client along with SAP. To create the interface of SAP and those 3rd party systems and manage the data transfer is also a job ob ABAP consultant.

           Can any one tell me ,to learn XI and Portal in netweaver,should i learn whole java i.e advanced java,jdbc,core java......or just core java is enough???

1)Learning core java is enough.
2)Both XI and portal are vast. try to be expert in one of these. its more than enough.

In PM there is more scope for development work and your ABAP skills will be useful, but there are a very few ABAPers who understand PS - so you can choose either way

Benefits of Certification for a Certified ABAP Consultant

I am SAP Certified ABAP Consultant. I have done my Certification in May. I wanted to know what all the Keys, IDs and Accesses does SAP provide a Certified ABAPer with.
Do they provide me any kind of Developer key?
Any other ID apart from Service Market Place ID?

Developer keys can be obtained from http://service.sap.com/sscr
Although anyone can get these depending on their level of access to SMP and the projects they are working and the need for them.
I don't think you get anything other than a certifcate to say you are certified. That may help open doors for you.
