Hidden advertising links in webpages in Firefox 10

Question

Greetings all.
I have downloaded Firefox 10 and highlighted blue underlined words in webpages when scrolled over produce a square bubble headed text- enhance click on the blue writing and you are taken to a gift survey page,I obviously don't want this unauthorized feature on webpages that I am reading,how can I block this feature ? The following representation of the page that is received (pasted in troubleshooting information below)will help those who are experts, not me !

Such links are added to web pages via a JavaScript that runs on such a web page.<br />
A lot of forums have such a 'feature', maybe to get some extra income if people visit such links.
You may also have caught malware that is adding such links if it happens on a lot of sites.
You can either use Adblock Plus to block such pop-ups or check the code and see if you can come up with CSS rules that work in userContent.css.

Some sites also have the possibility to store an opt-cookie on your computer.
