Hidden application in itunes store. How to delete?

hi how do delete hidden apps completely.
I delete an app from my ipad and itunes, it still appears under hidden purchases in itunes store.
the real issue why i want them gone is bcoz everytime i open itunes, it link with store and looks for available downloads...this includes upgrades of apps that are hidden and that i no longer wanna use....
its a waste of my download limit as some apps like games have upgrades going upto 70MB.

I would also like to add to the list of people wishing to delete hidden apps. I have 2 young children that have ipods and they have shared my account over the past few years. They have downloaded over 1000 "free app a day" crap apps and they are really starting to annoy me by sitting in my hidden app purchases. They now have their own accounts but my account is a mess. Please let me delete these "hidden" purchases as they will never be used again!

You Cannot... You can only Purchase items from the Country of your ID account...

Assuming it's in a supported format (which is likely), simply sync your iPad to iTunes on your computer. Make sure you have specified that you would like to sync movies on the "movies" tab on the top right of the iTunes display (when your iPad is plugged in and its row highlighted).

Are you logged into your Admin. Account or to a Guest Account that does not have access to the things your missing?

These are user-to-user forums, you are not talking to Apple here. If you can't find the app in the store then it may have been removed either via the app developer or by Apple - have you not got a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer or on a backup ?

Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this. Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.
