Hidden EVDRE range unhides itself

Hi experts,
I have a complex input schedule with 6 EVDREs, 2 EVDREs are creating an actual input schedule and the other 4 are used to dynamically populate drop down boxes in the 2 input schedules
I want to hide the code of all 6 EVDREs and the expansion of the 4 EVDREs but everytime I refresh the sheet, parts of the code and parts of the expansion appear again.
I read in another note that this can be resolved by putting the code above the reports and hiding by horizontal grouping (rather than vertical). But even then random parts of the code unhide themselves.
My input schedule is protected so when this happens to an end-user he can't even hide the code again.
I have the option to hide colkeys and rowkeys ticked for all EVDREs.
My page key range is above the report and hidden by horizontal grouping. The rest of the code as well as the expansion are hidden by vertical grouping.

Hi all,
I think I have found a permanent solution for my problem and wanted to share this with you.
It seems I had a combination of two problems.
1) Expanding data is unhiding itself. I couldn't find a way to have an expansion hidden away with the EVDRE code so I ended up putting my EVDREs that were purely for population of drop down boxes on a second tab, referred to them via name ranges and hid the sheet away
2) page key range unhide themselves. I found this in another threat and someone was saying if you put the page key range above your report (ie start your expansion somewhere in row 20 or so) and hide the page key range by grouping rows (rather than columns) then the page key range won't unhide itself. this seems to work. this doesn't work for expansions though

Whenever a download is finished, my windows toolbar unhides itself. Only after clicking on the download window does it autohide itself again.

I have my windows (7.0) toolbar on auto-hide so that it doesn't clutter up my screen. But whenever I download a file with Firefox, the download window triggers the toolbar to pop up. Only after clicking on the download window does the toolbar rehide itself. Is there a way to get the download complete event to not trigger a windows event (or whatever it is that causes the toolbar to pop up)?

EVDRE u0096 Column Keys staying hidden on multiple expansions

I have an EVDRE that has two membersets and two Column Key Ranges. I also have the Hide Column Key option selected. When the first expansion member list either increases or decreases upon re-expand and the original second Column Key Range stays hidden.
Before Expansion

The second column key range is below the first data range. When members are added or removed from the first memberlist, the original second column key range's rows W69:IV72 remain hidden and the new second column key range's rows W112:IV115 are also hidden. Except now the original column key rows now contain data not column keys.
I need to know how to make the original second Column Key Range unhide with every re-expansion.

If I understand the issue you have written, the following information may assist you in a solution.
How the key of a cell is built
The full key (current view) of a cell is ultimately controlled by EvDRE overlaying onto each cell the definitions of a current view as defined by any combination of the following settings:
1)     The system current view, as defined in the Current View bar
2)     The workbook current view, as parked in the workbook options, if set.
3)     The page current view, as defined in the PageKeyRange, if existing.
4)     The column current view, as defined in the ColumnKeyRange
5)      The row current view, as defined in the RowKeyRange
6)     The cell current view, as defined in the CellKeyRange
These definitions, if in conflict, take precedence from the lowest to the highest in the above list (The cell key, if existing, wins on the row key, that wins on the column key, that wins on the page key, etc.).
So, I think that if you keep the column key range of the 2nd set on the same rows as the 1st set as a relative reference, you should have a positive result, since the 2nd set of ranges create the point of intersection data retrival. Otherwise, you may need to consider using 2 evdre statements. If fact, if the data from the columns is in different catgories, or time members, you may want to consider this approach to develop a faster query.

Trying to Hide a Shared Calendar (It Won't Stay Hidden)

This happens in the icloud.com interface. I try and remove the checkmark beside several of my calendars, leaving only one visible. All stay hidden except the one that is shared to me by another iCloud member. That calendar keeps unhiding itself and showing in the calendar display.
What am I doing wrong?
I am in the page using Firefox on a PC, but this behavior seems to happen in other browsers too.

Hi Sergio,
If you want excel functions at the end, then AfterRange is the best way for the automated expansion evdre.
Just define the excel functions in a hidden area.
Use these cells in the AfterRange using EvRng function.
The after range will be populated with the excel formula in the hidden sample range specified in the AfterRange.

I Migrated my pics from iPhoto to Photos. I've read that the pictures will appear in a "Hidden" folder...not in Moments or Albums. Where is the Hidden folder? I cannot find.

Area range for particular area

Hi all,
Is it possible in ospf to generate summary address using area range command destined only for 1 particular area.
Let say R1 is connected to 3 areas. Area 1 , 2 and 0. I want to summarize routes coming from area 1 and advertise them only in Area 0 but not area 2. I know i can do this using area filter but can we select which areas we can advertise the summary ?

Area range command is used from the perspective of an ABR between areas. The range command itself doesn't have a way of specifying the interface/neighbor to which you can specifically advertise/hide a route to/from them.
What you should be able to do is to create a separate process on the summarizing router. One process for area 0 and 1, and another process for area 2. Then you can configure your range command for whatever process you need it for. You'll have to get into redistribution should you decide to do this though, and you'd have to redistribute on the summarizing router. Otherwise, areas 1 and 2 won't know each other exist.

Dynamic EVDRE expansion

Hi All,
we have a requirement of dynamic expansion of evdre based on the user selection.
Out of 6 dimension, user may select as many as he wants, and based on the selection we need to expand the evdre and generate the report in a different sheet.
We tried to give the dimension from the excel reference, but due to the unselected dimension in selection sheet, we received EVDRE error.
When we tried to restrict the the EVDRE range cells, we received the below error:
"runExpand: RowKeyRange<>RowExpandOptions wks:Sheet1".
Please suggest on it and provide a workaround to achieve the requirement.

Hi Umesh,
This error usually means that the rowkeyrange is not matching with the expansion options. If your row key range is set to do an expansion on 3 rows, then you should have 3 rows in the expansion options.
You have specified some specific number of expansions in your EVDRE, lets say 3 dimensions in rows. You are passing the expansion dimension members from another sheet. If you dont get all the 3 expansions in the sheet 2, then the expansion option will not match with the rowkeyrange.
So, even if the user doesnt select any dimension member, you need to pass some member (may be the highest node) to that dimension.

Evdre expansion question

I have a requirement to create an evdre input schedule with two dimensions in rows, ACCOUNT and INTCO.
The account dimension should expand using a MEMBERSET of SELF,ALL with the appropriate member set in the CV.
The intco dimension should be selected depending on the account per row with an IF statement (IF(evpro(LEGAL;account;PINTCO)="Y";"INTCO.TOTAL";"I_NONE")
Is this possible? In a non expanding input schedule I can do it, but is it also possible to have the input schedule expand along the account dimension?

Hi Arnold,
One possible workaround is to use that formula in a CellKeyRange.
In the evDRE keyrange set the CellKeyRangevalue to =EVRNG(P8)
In cell P8, place your formula
=(IF(evpro(LEGAL;"account";PINTCO)="Y";"INTCO.TOTAL";"I_NONE")
You need to change the "account" word to use an Excel key reference which is dynamic. Test it out and you'll see what I mean.
In my test I had the following in cell P8
=IF(J8="CE0001000","Europe_IN","NA_IN")
Give it a try and you'll see what happens in the evDRE range just to right of the data range.
Note that using CellKeyRanges are a drag on performance so please use them carefully.
You can also use an evGET report to do what you want as well but they perform poorly as well.

Cant extend range on TC or set up WDS relay/remote

I previously was running 3 x AE's (g) in a WDS configuration base, relay, remote to extend my network through my entire apartment. I was also using airtunes to stream music to 3 separate zones. It worked fantastic asides from having a slower internet connection speeds.
I recently just bought a TC 1TB and used it to replace the main base station in my wireless network. Setting it up wasnt a problem however, the range by itself wont cover my living space entirely. I tried setting up my (g) AE's as WDS clients as in my previous set up and it doesnt seem to work. I have clicked the tickbox on the TC to allow other clients to join. Once the AE updates I receive errors on the time capsule that says it cannot find other clients to join.
Is this possible to extend the network of my TC with older g AE's? Am i doing something wrong or is this simply a compatibility issue?
Can anyone offer some help?

Actually i was trying using the Quick VPN with the RV042 but i was using for the RV042 WAN Interface Virtual IP Address + Dynamic DNS Feature , but i failed to get the Quick VPN Client to establish a connection to the RV042 . I was wondering if you have any idea if the Quick VPN Client ( or any IPSEC VPN Client ) have an issue with using the DDNS Feature ?
Note : I tried to creat a PPTP Account over the RV042 and it worked with the DDNS with No Problems. Of course i did not use the Quick VPN Client , i used the Simple Windows XP VPN Connection and it was able to establish a Conenction to the RV042 ( I believe , Windows VPN Connection uses PPTP Not IPSEC ).

My dock is not unhiding

all of a sudden the dock on my 6 moth old MacBook has stopped unhiding itself. anyone have any suggestions to get it to hide/unhide again or help with finding the reason and resolving the problem?

Have you tried this magic resets ? On start up.
Press Option-Command-P-R until you hear two beeps.
If the computer is on, turn it off.
Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer's battery.
Press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
Press the Power button to restart the computer.

What I exacly mean?
In other programming languages e.g. C++ when we want to hide some part of implementation, we just simple make an library (dll file) and we join it to complilation code.

Hiding the code

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to hide the code of a report from the user? I know that if I goto the program's attributes and change its STATUS to SYSTEM PROGRAM, it cannot be debugged, but I have been told that tweaking the debugger will still allow me to debug the application.

Really? Again? "The user does not have sufficient privileges to install Adobe Flash Player"

My browser is firefox.
"The user does not have sufficient privileges to install Adobe Flash Player" is the incessant problem I've had many times updating Flash.
Come on guys, this is getting beyond ridiculous. The install always stops at 55% exactly, and never completes, leaving me to abandon Firefox for Chrome. I mucked about the last half a dozen times this happened during the update and just by sheer accident it managed to install, but it's been 2 hours of similar mucking about and I'm now getting nowhere.
This has been a persistent problem and affected many firefox users for years now, as I've seen both by my own experience and by searching google. Isn't there a way you all can provide a single SIMPLIFIED solution to this issue, either by coordinating with firefox or by providing a Firefox "unique" installer? Really it's too infuriating.
Anyway, before anyone asks, yes I'm logged on as the admin, and yes I've run the installer "as the admin" by right clicking. I've also gone ahead and completely uninstalled flash (and emptied the folders as requested in other threads here) and reinstalled, only to watch the progress bar halt at 55% as per usual and leave me clicking that stupid Chrome icon to have a working flash program.
Honestly folks, why, after years, does this continue to be a persistent issue? Fix it for the love of God! Are you lot the guys doing the ObamaCare website or what? We firefox folks are loyal to our browser, and installing new versions of flash on this browser is an unnecessary bloody pain in the you know what.
Sorry for the visible frustration, but if someone could please provide a universal working solution I wouldn't need to be on here whinging and moaning.

I have had the same problem, but found that doing it this way, eradicated the issue for me-
I am no computer expert and have experimented over time until i found what has worked for myself.
I hope this helps others to resolve this problem.
                                            If you are unsure, then please get somebody that has an idea what they are doing to prevent any accidental deletion of system files!!!!!!!
This is a Microsoft windows 7 PC, not Apple Mac.
slightly lengthy, but has stopped me pulling hairs out and stopped swearing at the computer.
Allowed for me to open e learning that needed adobe to continue with learning.
Firstly:
Download the current uninstallerUninstaller for Windows
Close all browser windows and run the uninstaller
Restart Windows.
Delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories. (these directories are probably hidden away from sight)
    (tip: copy and paste ONE of these paths into the path/search bar in an Explorer window)
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash (if you are using a 64-bit system)
which should then display a white page with a top line in bold letters saying something like:-
"Index of C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\" as shown below:
This INFORMATION is only needed for the location as to where these files are hidden so DO NOT !!!!! click on any of the folders within this browser, as they will download into the download folder and cause more problems.
THIS WILL SHOW WHERE THE FOLDERS ARE HIDING WITHIN THE COMPUTER ITSELF, BUT THEY ARE PROBABLY HIDDEN, UNTIL YOU UNHIDE THE FOLDER(S) THAT YOU NEED.
MINIMIZE THIS SCREEN TO ONE HALF OF THE SCREEN, AND HAVE THE FOLDER OF THE COMPUTER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCREEN, SO THAT YOU CAN FOLLOW WITHOUT HAVING TO REMEMBER WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE NEXT
Secondly:
Go onto DESKTOP
double click on computer
then double click on "C"
go to organize on top left corner under backwards arrow,
click on "folder and search options"
click on "view" tab,
look for heading "Hidden files and folders"
click on "show hidden files, folders, and drives"
click "Apply"
CLICK "OK"
Most folders will be a bright yellow folder, whereas the hidden folders that you have now made reappear will be a shaded yellow.
You should still have the operating system IDE (C) folder open.
Thirdly:
Look for:
Open folder "Windows"
Open Folder "System32"
Find Folder "Macromed"
Right Click on folder and look down for "Delete" left click which will then put the folder into the waste basket on the computer.
Empty the wastebin if it is on desktop by right clicking and choosing "Empty Recycle Bin"
close all explorer/Google pages.
then repeat the process as near top of page from Computer --> C Drive --> all the way to
Hidden files and folders
Forthly:
THEN !!!!!
click on "DON'T show hidden files, folders, or drives"
click "apply"
click "OK"
                                   THAT WILL HIDE THE SYSTEM FOLDERS
Fifthly:
CLOSE ANY FOLDER OR BROWSER ON THE COMPUTER SO THAT YOU ARE BACK TO THE DESKTOP.
FINALLY:
OPEN BROWSER
YOU SHOULD THEN BE ALLOWED TO INSTALL ADOBE WHEN OPENING A FRESH BROWSER
