Hidden icons how to unhide

I have, in error, 'hidden' my lock keypad icon on my 8320 and can't seem to find a way to get it back. Please help, thanks a very stressed out 8320 user.
BTW please use non-tch and simple steps as I am obviously an airhead!!

Hp remote connection, hundreds of hidden icons!

I have a strange problem lately. When I open my 'hidden icons' link in my task bar, I am seeing hundreds of HP Remote Connection icons. I have never seen this before. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like, when I click the link "View Hidden Links". I have all the normal icons showing at the bottom, but there are hundreds of purple icons, and I don't know why. I tried to click on them and nothing happens. Here is a screen shot of what I see :

I understand tha you are having issues with the HP Connected Remote App showing numerous icons on your HP computer. I am providing you with the only HP Support document: HP PCs - Using the HP Connected Remote App (Windows 8) that I can find pertaining to your issue. I recommend that you review the document for any help it may offer (possibly adjust settings for how you are using the applications, being sure to make sure the software is updated as well. If you are not using the software then I would suggest you use the section that shows how to disable it.
If the above document does not help you and this is a new issue then I would suggest that you use the HP Support document: Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8) to simply roll your system back to a point in time where this issue did not occur.

How to unhide the column in Alv table

Hi Experts,
Initially i have created webdynpro Alv table with 8 columns ,later i have added one more attribute/column to the node to display extra column
but in the output ,alv table not displaying the 9th column,Instead the column is getting hidden which i came to know clicking on settings in alv table output.If i make changes in Alv table settings it getting displaying,can anyone tell me how to unhide this field.

Hi Sandesh,
It is possible that the user you are loggin in with, might have a layout saved.
You can try logging in with different user and see if its still hidden.
The explicit code to hide and unhide a column :
lo_alv_column->set_visible( if_wdl_core=>visibility_none ).
may be you can use the above code and make column visibility true(cahnge parameter).

If not restricted, search for it using the Spotlight search box - it may have been moved to another home screen page or inside a folder.

You cannot delete the App Store or any of the pre installed apps. It is on your iPad somewhere, but it may be hidden.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't disable installing apps.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.

Hidden Icon

I tried downloading papiriver from my iPhone today but when it started to download it was stuck on the loading progress bar. I didnt think anything of it for about an hour and when I went back to it, it was still stuck.
So I went back onto the app store from my phone and pressed to install it again. This time it installed fine, but two icons appeared. After it had finished the icons merged into one. I thought it was all taken care of until I went and deleted the app(never would have played it).
Now when I try and move my icons around there is a gap, like a hidden icon. Papiriver even pops up very quickley on my screen but I cannot touch the "x" fast enough to delete the hidden icon. I synced my phone and papiriver does not show up in my apps on my computer.
My question is: Has anyone had this problem and how do you fix it?

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. If not, uncheck that app in iTunes, sync to remove it, then recheck it and sync to reinstall it. Else, a Restore (though painful) will correct it.

... I didn't know that Time Machine was more a last resort back up instead of main back up.
Don't rely upon Time Machine to the exclusion of all else. I compliment Time Machine with a periodic "clone". TM is much better than nothing, but it's a safety net, not a hammock
Here is my understanding of Time Machine's file deletion algorithm, distilled from Pondini's FAQ, Apple's KB articles, and my own observations.
Time Machine deletes ("thins") files from the backup disk as follows:
Hourly backups over 24 hours old, except the first backup of the day
Daily backups over 30 days old, except the first backup of the week
Older backups get deleted when Time Machine requires space and you deleted them from the source disk.
Therefore, assuming TM has been performing at least one backup per day, backup files will remain available:
at least thirty days, if they existed on your Mac for at least a day
until you run out of space, if they existed on your Mac for at least a week
In addition to the above, Time Machine always keeps one complete copy of your source disk so that the entire volume could be restored if necessary. Any files that remain on your source volume will be present on the TM backup, no matter how old they are.
If you are using 250 GB of space on your source disk, its Time Machine backups are likely to require at least twice that much. A good estimate of the minimum required backup volume size would be about three times the size of your source disk - 1.5 TB in your case.
A more thorough explanation would require Pondini since he has plumbed Time Machine's mysteries far more than I have.

If in the Time Machine interface you wish to restore something in your Library, type cmd-shift-g, then type ~/Library into the path field and hit Go.
If you are browsing the Time Machine backup using the Finder, I hope you never wanted to use that backup again as you are more than likely going to corrupt it to the point of it not working any longer. If that is the case, you can do the same thing with the Go to Folder command above, just use the full path to where your backup is mounted. Ctrl+Shift+T Creates Hidden Icon

Before whenever I pressed ctrl+shit+t it would just open my most recently closed tab, but now for some reason it reduces Firefox into the hidden icon folder in the right side of the taskbar(next to the wifi and battery). Has anyone else had this problem?
