  • How to hide the Media type field if no video is uploaded in paglayout

    Hi,
    I am creating a custom page layout with custom content type through visual studio 2010 for sharepoint 2010.
    i need to create a field which supports to upload a video file.
    so i created a site column and added it to my content type and added to my page layout.
    <Field ID="{7F5AE2F9-C1A2-4BFD-876C-56ECFB7B0210}" Name="Video" DisplayName="Article Video" Type="MediaFieldType"  Group="Article Layout Columns" />
    <FieldRef ID="{7F5AE2F9-C1A2-4BFD-876C-56ECFB7B0210}" Name="Video"/>
    In my page layout i added the field in both edit and display mode as
       <PublishingWebControls:MediaFieldControl ID="MediaFieldControl1" FieldName="Article Video" runat="server"/>
    All is well the video is displayed and i can add video.
    My req is i need to show the video div in display mode only if video is added else it should be hidden in display mode.
    how to do that?
    Aruna

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to hide the Media type field if no video uploaded.
    After the video uploaded, the HTML of the Media Type Field will be changed. We can use jQuery to detect the change and hide/show it.
    The following script for your reference:
    <script src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(function () {
    if($("selector")==""){
    $("divID").hide();
    </script>

  • How to Hide Maintenance Order Types

    Hi,

    Is there any possibility to hide standard order types PM01 -

    Note: I don't want to delete standard order types.

  • UCM 11g - Hide documents by type. Modify QuickSearch.

    Hi all
    I need to modify the search to hide contents of type 'TypeToHide'. This rule does not apply to sysadmin
    To achieve this in the main search do this:
    <@dynamichtml query_add_field_query_script@>
         <$if (not UserIsAdmin)$>
              queryText = "<NOT> (dDocType <matches> `TypeToHide`)";
         <$endif$>
         <$include super.query_add_field_query_script$>
    <@end@>This works, but also need to customize QuickSearch.
    How I can customize the search in QuickSearch?
    Thanks

    Hi Bill,
    Unfortunately we're dealing with a Windows stack, and SES 11g isn't out yet for Windows.
    Regarding your second point: you guys at Fishbowl really have a solution for everything ;-).
    Have you also been able to solve the question I posted here: Region templates from Site Studio used  in Webcenter applicaton
    @Stijn wrote:
    Basically we're developing a portal application in WebCenter and we want to store pages as content in UCM. We also want to make use of the Site Studio
    contribution editor as this is the only way I see to be able to have a rich text editor with inline images.
    Btw: what I'm still looking for is a way for a user to easily upload and use an image from within the rich text editor. The basic feature is that when you want to
    insert an image, a search result of images is shown. This isn't really useful, as the number images might also increase to a 1000 or more.

  • How to hide the Condition types in item condition screen in Sales Order ?

    Hi Experts,
    We got new requirement from the Client. Pricing Condition types  are ZZBG, ZPBG, ZPBA, ZFSG, ZBDG and ZBHG part in Pricing Procedure. These condition types have Condition records. These need to be hidden in Item conditions screen in Sales Order but other status of the conditions remain unchanged. Pleas provide me the solution earliest  How this we can achieve in a best way.
    Best Regards,
    Srikith

    Hi Srikanth,
    You can achieve this using CONDITION EXCLUSION.
    Maintain Condition exclusion for first condition type its Exclude the condition types which are below to that.
    You must set a condition exclusion indicator for the price. You can do this in two ways:
    If you want to set the condition exclusion indicator a follows then you specify it:
    1..for all condition records of a condition type (e.g. with condition type PR00) when defining a condition type in SD Customizing
    2.for an individual condition record (e.g. only for material 4711) in the detail screen of a condition record (in the Condition exclusion field)
    Hope this will helps you

  • Hide Certain Task Types in UWL

    Hi,
    We have a situation where we have two portals pointing at the same backend ECC 5 system.  One portal is used by core HR users and the other by ESS / MSS users.
    One of the issues we have is that when the core users log into the ESS portal, they see all of their core tasks as well as their ess / mss ones.
    Does anyone know of a way of hiding certain task types or suggest another way around this.
    Many Thanks
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
    You need to customize the item types that you dont want displayed in each UWL.
    Customizing UWL help is available at:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/27/8be9f12c6746158328764a13c0ef99/frameset.htm
    Process flow is: Enable debug on UWL>Determine Item Types you dont want> download associated UWL>Create custom UWL (based on the items types you want to remove)>Upload UWL and clear UWL cache.

  • Help - hide ineligible file types in open file dialogue box

    Hi all - I just got my first Mac, and and having considerable difficulty figuring out the following the problem. When you try to open a file from any application, you can select which files can be opened by the "enable" drop box - ineligible file types are then greyed out.
    Question: how can I make ineligible file types invisible (like on a PC)? Thanks in advance!
    NB. this might appear trivial to some people, but I work with lots of data and 1000s of files per folder, and have found myself spending at times 5-10 minutes looking for 1 file in 1 folder, just because I have to browse through so many ineligible file types.

    vinvanveen wrote:
    +That's impossible, sorry.+
    Is that seriously impossible? That sounds ridiculously incompetent on Apple's part. I will have no option but to go back to a PC, because this is too much of a drag on my productivity.
    PCs are fine. If they fit your requirements better than Leopard, do use them. But don't grep about it. It's a big tent. I regularly use my PCs for things that Macs cannot do. But I never consider anything "ridiculous" on anyone's part. Not every OS is well-suited to every task. Use the one that works best but do not call another OS "incompetent" simply because you think something is missing. I would say that properly vetting a new OS before moving to it is an "incompetent" move.
    Did you really use due diligence before getting a Mac? Didn't you check everything out beforehand?
    I did. I got exactly that which I expected.
    Do not blame someone else for things that they do not claim to have. Sometimes the blame lies elsewhere.

  • How to formulate an SSRS expression to hid 2 document types if parameter is true

    Hi,
    I have a report with a Full and Partial Parameter option. If the Full parameter is selected all data should be displayed but if the Partial parameter is selected I want to exclude any entry with a SubmissionTypeID value of 47 and 51 from the report.
    I can get it to work using just 1 of the values but not using the 2 values.
    This is the expression that works for me using only 1 value and I put  it the query window of the dataset, the use if 'Niamh' is just to have an else value as it wouldn't work otherwise. When the report is run using this it excludes all entries
    with a value of 47 which is what I want except I also want to exclude 51 values also:
    Where
    (Reporting.SUBMISSIONS.SubmissionTypeID <> case when @FullorPartial= 2 then 47 else 'Niamh' end)
    I also tried this in the query window and when partial is selected it works exactly as I want it to excluding all date with a SubmissionTypeID of 47 & 51 but when Full is selected I get an error "Cannot read the next data row for
    the dataset DataSet1"
    Where
    ((Reporting.VW_LATEST_SUBMISSIONS.SubmissionTypeID <>  case when @FullorPartial= 2 then 47 else 'Niamh' end
    OR
    Reporting.VW_LATEST_SUBMISSIONS.SubmissionTypeID <>  case when @FullorPartial= 2 then 51 else 'Niamh' end))
    I have also tried using an IIF on the Visibility option in the Group Properties of the Row Group which didn't work either.
    =IIF((Parameters!FullorPartial=2) AND (SubmissionID IN (51, 47), True, False))
    Any help would be very much appreciated as I have tried all number of variations without success.
    Thanks
    Niamh

    Hi ,
      Try the below condition. I am assuming 1 is Full and 2 is partial.
    Where
    Reporting.VW_LATEST_SUBMISSIONS.SubmissionTypeID not in (47,51)
    or
    @FullorPartial = 1

  • Content type hide on New button but keep enabled on Upload

    I have several content types in my document libraries.  There is one content type that I want to hide on the New button, but keep enabled in the Upload drop-down for content type.
    How can I do this?
    thanks!

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to hide content type on New button but keep enabled on Upload.
    There are two properties in SharePoint that affect the visibility of content types. These are:
    Visible on New Button (can be set through the UI – List’s Settings – screenshot)
    The Hidden property of the SPContentType object (can be set only through the object model)

  • CS6 Hide file type in tabs

    Is there a way to hide the file type next to the file name in the open files tabs? I don't need to see this and would give me more room for having more tabs on my laptop.
    Any suggestions would be appeciated.
    Thanks

    I'm confused. Are you talking about the tabs at the top of the Document window. If so, they don't display the file type. All they display is the filename (including the extension). If you want to see the extension, what is it that you want to do with the tabs?
    On the other hand, are you talking about removing the Type column in the Files panel? If so, you can hide it by going to Site > Manage Sites, and clicking the Edit button. In the Site Setup dialog box, expand Advanced Settings, and select File View Columns.
    Select Type, and then click the Edit icon. In the dialog box that opens, deselect the Show checkbox.
    This has to be done individually for each site. There isn't a global setting.
