Hide and Seek Partition

Since installing BootCamp, Windows XP, and Norton Anti-virus on my Mac Pro, one of my disc partitions will not show up on the Mac desktop. It's a Mac partition, on a second internal HD, the HD without Windows. It's one of 4 Mac partitions on that drive.
Weird thing is, the partition shows up in Disk Utility, but not with a HD icon, but as a blank document. When i unmount it, it becomes a hard drive icon but when i remount it, it becomes a blank document icon again. It verifies okay...AND it shows up, and is accessible in Windows (via MediaFour's MacDrive software)...Also, I used DiskWarrior on it, by accessing it from a G4 powerbook. DiskWarrior thinks it's healthy. It just will not show up on the mac desktop.

Hide and seek application windows

since upgrading to leopard as soon as i open a second application window the previous one hides, i need to choose show all in order to get all application windows to stay open so i can use expose, not having the same issue with folders windows, does anyone have the same problem

Hide and Seek? Search questions-specific and general

Specifically, is there any way to see list of all the titles I have made? I made one but it is hiding among other assets...
Generally, is there any search function, similar to the way we search "Date Modified" in windows?
Or a search function like windows has where we can type in *.doc and it shows us all the word docs we have?

Premiere thinks of titles as still images. So if you display the Media Type column and type "Still image" in the Project panel's search box (upper left corner), the panel will filter down to your title(s) and any other stills in the project.
Another way to leverage the same metadata: Edit>Find, set Column to Media Type, Find What = "still image"

E71 Funky analogue clock and playing hide and seek...

Hi all,
I just purchased my E71 last night and everything is going alright until today when I noticed two things.
My analogue clock displays an upside down "12" where the number "3" should be, even though the time is correct. What gives?
Also, even though this may not seem important but I distinctly remember setting the way a ringtone would sound as it rings... you know, like a loop or surround...something like that and I chose random. But now I don't like it and for the life of me I just CAN'T find where to turn that option off!!

So, considering the 'upside down number twelve', it is in fact 21, ie today's date.
The loop sound can be turned off in Media/3-D tones.

ITunes preferences "show purchases in the cloud" hide and seek

The show of purchases in the cloud (TVshow, music, movie) is very unstable since I upgraded to Maverick/iTunes11.1.2. The button in the preferences to make purchases visible is often absent: It reappears when I close iTunes and open it again?

I can give you an estimate from the costs I incur on my bill. I also live in Minnesota. The numbers aren't perfect but should give you a good idea of what you will be paying for these costs.

Itune Hide and Seek

I have a network based on a Tecom Modem, a Windows XP PC and two airport express stations.
May be one time out of two, itune do not see the stations in the speakers menu. (but they are obviously connected to the network)
Sometimes only one station.
And sometimes it works perfectly with both.
What could be the reason for that ?

The Tabular Form Element based on item_type column of SQL query is Displayed As Select List (based on LOV) referencing a named list of values which have the following properties

What I want to do is only display the Select List for the FK depending on the value of the Select List on Item Type, e.g.

Item_Type is 'BB' then display Select List for backup_dev_id, do not display and set to NULL the Select Lists for hardware_id and hardware_os_id.

There are properties on elements to conditionally display it but how do we reference the values of the SQL query Updateable region? they are not given a page item name?
Also on the Tabular For Elements there is an Edit tick against a report item - however when you go to the Column Attributes there is not a property with which you can control the Edit setting.
What's the best way of implementing this requirement in APEX 3.1?

I have a multi-row region that displays values and allows entries in a number of fields.Provide exact details of how this has been implemented. (An example on apex.oracle.com is always a good way to do this.)
I should like the fields to be conditional in that they do not permit entry, but still display, if certain conditions apply (e.g. older rows greyed out). Can this be done? Can I use One Hard Drive for 2x Time Machine Back Ups and another partition for all my data?

Time Machine back up for one Mac
Time Machine back up for 2nd Mac
Anothe partition for all my data.
then have that RAID'd to second disc?

That is indeed unfortunate. You will need to order a recovery disk set from HP or an HP Partnet. Here is how to order a recovery disk set.

Problems with Boot Camp and Drive Partition

First of all, let me preface this by saying I have in the past successfully partitioned my drive and installed Windows, but it was a while back and I can remember it was frustrating, but I don't remember the exact details. Also, I apologize for the rambling nature of this problem, but I'm trying to give as much relevant information as possible and walk through the steps I took to get where I am now.
Feel free to skip ahead to the end, the main problem seems to be I tried to create a 300 GB partition, but it didn't take or something. Now my storage is reflecting I've lost 300 GB, but it won't recognize the existence of the new partition.
Let me just walk through what I did. I deleted my previous partition because I was having some difficulties with a few programs and the partition ended up being too small and I wanted to make a bigger one anyway. I only use it for gaming and didn't care about any of the saved games so I just deleted the partition and figured I'd start over from scratch.
Before I begin, some technical details about the computer I'm working with. I don't know how much of this is necessary, but here it is:
It's a 27-inch late 2012 iMac with a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor with 24GB RAM running OSX 10.9.4
The storage space is a little more difficult as that is part of the problem I'm running into, which I'll get to in a minute.
Anyway, I have a Windows 7 Professional install DVD and a burned CD called Boot Camp, which I think is the drivers from last time I installed Windows (a year and half ago?), but since I needed Superdrive for the install DVD I just used an XHD I had to put the drivers on (like I said, I don't remember how I did it last time). I go through Boot Camp and look at how much space I have and how big I want to make my partition.
Side note: Last time I made my partition, I'm fairly certain I set it to 200 GB, but the partition size actually came out to something like 112 GB or something significantly less. I didn't know what happened, but figured it would still be enough space and it had been such a hassle I didn't bother doing it again.
Supposedly I have a 1 TB HD, and I can't remember exactly what it said when I partitioned the drive this time, but it definitely said I was using less than half of my capacity and I had plenty of room, so I opted to go for a 301 GB partition (the slider wouldn't let me do exactly 300) which still left me with around 300 GB of space left over on my Mac partition I want to say. I went ahead with it and it started partitioning the drive with the blue line moving very slowly and after an hour or so it was like 80% across but no longer making progress. I looked online and people said that shouldn't happen. I cancelled the partition and the Disk Utility showed the partition, but said it was unmounted or something.
I restarted my computer thinking maybe I'd try and see what would happen if I tried to boot it up as if I had Windows installed. I also at that moment remembered that I'd had a similar problem last time because I had my XHD plugged into my USB port so I unplugged that and held down OPT. It then showed me my Mac HD drive and a CD icon that said Windows, so I clicked on that figuring maybe I could install it after all.
It led me through a Install manager and it got to the point where it asked what drive/partition do you want to install Windows in, I recognized the screen and remembered I was supposed to choose a certain one, but couldn't remember which one and none of the sizes seemed to match the storage I had allocated to the partition. One was about 200 GB and since the last time I did it my partition came out 100 GB smaller than I had set it for I thought maybe that was it.
However, it said I couldn't install on that drive for some reason (I can't remember exactly what it said). So I restarted again and figured I'd go back and see what I did wrong and start over. When I check Disk Utility it no longer sees any partition (mounted or unmounted or anything) and that the entirety of my HD is dedicated to Mac HD.
The problem is, now I'm getting weird reports about the size of my drive, the amount used, and the space available. Disk Utility tells me I have 1.12 TB capacity, 301 GB available, and 819 GB used. That doesn't even add up. Furthermore, when I click get info on Macintosh HD, it tells me I have 810 GB capacity, 364 GB available, and 446 GB used. When I click on About this Mac and go to System Report and storage I get this:

Now I really don't know what to make of it. That 301 GB free space makes sense as the partition I tried to create and if I add that to the 446 GB used on my Mac partition, plus the 364 GB available, that adds up to 1.12 TB (roughly, I've rounded off these numbers).
But how come Disk Utility doesn't recognize the partition then? What should I do from here?
I couldn't find anyone asking this exact type of question or running into this same problem before, so I hope I'm not asking about something that's already been answered. If that's the case, if you could direct me to where I can find the answer I'd be appreciative.
Otherwise, any help or light that can be shed would be most appreciated.

The problem seems to have gone away. I did click on repair disk in Disk Utility, I'm not sure if that did anything, but now when I run Boot Camp Assistant it is showing me the correct free space, so I don't know what happened. Oh well.

HT4818 I want to have an exFAT parition in addition to the Mac OS X and Windows partition. If I create it before running BootCamp, it wants me to delete it. If I create it in either Windows or Mac OS X afterwards, I can no longer dual boot.

I've got the same quandary.
After upgrading my hard drive to a Momentus XT Hybrid and doing a clean install of Mountain Lion, I was surprised that I couldn't format partitions separately and then restore from my clone of the old Windows 7 Partition. I found that I had to use the BootCamp Assistant to manage it all, which essentially meant getting rid of the partitions and starting again...
I now can't get my Windows / BootCamp partition to boot, after adding a 3rd, ExFat, partition, when it was working perfectly fine before. I just get a lot of dos booting failures and a final message that "No boot device is available, press Enter to continue".
See the attached message, that I get when trying to boot the bootcamp partition, through Parallels 7; which also worked perfectly fine before.
Be good to know if there is a work around this in Mountain Lion as, if not, I'm thinking I might skip Bootcamp altogether and just install a machine drive via Parallels. As suggested here:

I might even keep the virtual windows machine on a separate hard drive and then I'll have no need for the ExFat partitions altogether as that was designated for sharing between Windows and Mac.
