HIde BEX Display Header

Hi ,
Appreciate if anyone could help me with this.
Is there any way we can hide the Query results header (Free characteristic,rows).
I want to see only the results of query. I tried to refresh it in workbook and right click to delete the header but it doesnt permit. The bex interactive function only allow me to refresh or drill down.
I want to save this as workbook and whenever refresh the query, it should never display the header values.

Hide and Display submit button on the Simple search page.

I'm trying to set the enabled property of the submit button on the simple search page. The business case is to disable the button if the VO has not returned any rows.
The Submit button is on the page button bar.

I have already added this in my ProcessRequest, the issue I am facing is it the submit button is disabled while I load >the page which is fine. but when I do a search and the query returns rows still the submit button is disabled.---Will nt reuired SPEL here..

Is there any way to hide the column header in BW workbook?

I have inserted a query into a workbook. But I don't want the column header to be shown. Is there any way to hide the column header? Thanks.

Hi,
If you want to do any custom formatting to the workbook and you do not want it to reset when you refresh the workbook,
You will have to You can deactivate the function for adjusting the formatting (Adjust Formatting after Refreshing) in the Display Options of the Query Properties.
When you do this, you can have your own formatting for the workbook and it will not be affected when you refresh the workbook.

I have to display header text and item text of PO in smartform BBP_SUSPO.
So how to do that.. I have to use 'read_text' Fm or directly i can get values from any table ???

I have used inculde text that is avalable in smartforms to display header & Item text in this way
For header :
Text Name         Header guid
Text Object       BBP_PD
Text ID           HTXT
Language          EN
For Item:
Text Name         Item Guid
Text Object       BBP_PD
Text ID              ITXT
Language          SY-LANGU
U can used this attributes in read_text function mdule also.

Hi,
Top-of-page is an event which will produce a static header that is even you scroll the list the header will be displayed. But when you not use the top-of-page event You will notget the static header.
say for example,
data : itab like mara occurs 0 with header line.
select * from mara into table itab upto 100 rows.
loop at itab.
write : /1 itab-matnr.
endloop.
top-of-page.
write : /1 'header'.
also use the code,
data : itab like mara occurs 0 with header line.
select * from mara into table itab upto 100 rows.
write : /1 'header'.
loop at itab.
write : /1 itab-matnr.
endloop.
see the difference in the header.

Display Header/Footer Information while Printing WAD BI7.0

My customer requirement is not to display Header/Footer on the Portal Screen via WAD, but while Printing, they want to display the Header/Footer. Is there any properties within Web Application Designer that this is done?

Hi
1.Use a Table inside a Container Item.
2.In the table use Text Box( available in Miscelleaneous tab in the left) in the header and the footer
3 Drag button group Item and in the properties internal display press the combo button
4.Press Combo Command-> all commands->Commands for Web Templates-> export web application. Come again to Favourite comands tab -> Place the cursor over Export Web Application -> Press Next Button in the footer
5. Here in the Item Binding tab, give item which needs to be printed
In your Portal, you can give the query for display without this settings

Displayed Header Info Prints Differently

The header info. that's displayed on-screen, is different than what gets printed. How do that happen?
Specifically, the displayed header info. shows; "To: My Name" but when printed that same line is changed to; "To: my email address".
I need the header and email to print the exact way it is displayed. How do I get Mail to accomplish this simple task?

When printing email, the displayed name (or Smart Address if you have that enabled) will always show the name and/or the email address of the person it's To: and From:; there's no way around that.

Display input variables in BEx workbook header

Hi forum,
I created a global BEx workbook template and would like to display the input variables (user entries) in the header section. On refresh of the workbook, this section should be updated with the new input variables. I am on BEx 7.0 and already experimented with text elements in the Design Mode of BEx Analyzer. However, you can only select general filter values, not specifically variables.
On release BI 3.x the Visual Basic function SAPBEXshowTextElements(selectgroup, ...) was available. You could set selectgroup to "V" (show variables only) and retrieve the variable values.
However on 7.0 this function does not seem to work any longer.
Do you know how this can be achieved in BEx Analyzer 7.0?

Hi,
1) Keep variable in default values in Filters.if u keep variable in default values user enterd value will be displayed in workbook filters.
2) Open workbook and go to design mode.
3) Delete the header text item and also delete the header picture bar.
4) Write report name in "A1".
5) At the end of report name (say H1or I1) use this excel formula =Replace(old text,start_num, num_chrs, new_tex).
With this whenever user changes the variable value will be changed in report header.

I Designed BEx Query for BO Xcelsius, at the time of showing Bex Report in Xcelsius
it is displaying the like

we need display without keyfigure - row like follwing ( when we run report on analyzer it showing without keyfigure - row,but problem is when we Run in web)

We do not have any direct setting in BEx to do it. You can write a VB macro code in BEx to achieve this.

Getting BEx query header data into Xcelsius for line chart Category Labels?

Hello - Is it possible to get header data from BEx queries into Xcelsius so they can be used for Category Labels in a line chart?
We have a BEx query that displays 16 weeks of shipment trends by column and text variables are used to display the respective date selection for each of the weeks in the query header but When connecting QaaWs to Xcelsius, the header row does not get displayed.
When using LiveOffice, the header row seems to come thru with the correct dates for each of the weeks but if you are stacking more than one connection than you will get an extra header row for each connection.
Are there any tricks to hide a header row in a LiveOffice document?
Is there anyway to display the header row from QaaWs in Xcelsius?
Any other work arounds?

Below are my inputs...
-->Using QAAWS you will not be able to get the header data, so you will have to maintain header data manually in Xcelsius (Spreadsheet).
-->Using Live office you will be able to get the header data, and if you are using multiple live office connections, then you need to use cell reference formulas and format the spreadsheet (Xcelsius) as you require.
