Hide called number when calling is tranfered to called

Hi,
My client is asking for a feature he had before on ist old Alactel PBX and can't find it in the service parameters.
Actually when someone call the helpdesk number at night, the help desk transfer him to the mobile of the in charge person, the issue with Cisco 4.1(3)SR6 is that the mobile number appears on the screen of the IpPhone which is A big problem since the guys can know call the in charge person directly without following the procedure !!
Do you have any solution or it is simply impossible. Actually my client doesn't mind if its for all transfer!!
Thanks for your help
Rgds
Luc

Ok, sorry I didn't understand from the description!
You will need to set the Calling Line Presentation on the gateways then to restrict the outbound number.
You can do this by going into the route list details and set the "Calling Party Transformations" to "off". This will restrict the CLID sending of any calls going outbound (for anybody within your organisation using this gateway).
If I've still not understood this and you mean you want to stop the mobile number from sending its CLID then unfortunately you've had to turn this off on the mobile.

  • Re: Want hidden number when calling phones.

he wants to HIDE his number when he calls from the desktop. as in, a number does not appear on the screen of the person who's receiving the call. i have a skype number but want to do the same, on some occasions. how can this be done?

Hey everyone looking to hide their number,
I have been searching for how to make this work since Skype updated recently. I even spent about an hour on the live chat with a customer service rep, who was very little help at all. In the past it was as simple as Tools->Options->Calls Tab->Disable Caller ID. Well that option/setting is no longer available. But rest assured it is possible to hide your number. This afternoon I decided to try activating the caller ID, then deactivating it. By doing this it now shows my number as unknown for everyone that I call. Hope this helps you all.
TL;DR Activate caller ID, then Deactivate CallerID to hide number.
    Have a good one,
    Bryan

  • Is there any way to hide number when sending or making call from J2ME app?

    Hello all,
Is there any way that i hide the number to which the call is made. Like when i do platform request to call a phone number, it asks for permission showing the real number to which it's makin the call, I want to hide this number and make call to another number which the user won't notice.
I think this might not be possible.

I want to hide this number and make call to another number{color:#000080}Even if there were a way, and if I knew about it, I wouldn't tell you.
Happily, j2me does not allow crooks like you to deceive the rest of us.

  • How do I get my number to show up as a blocked number when I call

HOw do I get my number to show up as a blocked number when I call someone

I think you want to simply hide the caller ID and be anonymous, not "be a blocked number" because you wouldn't be able to call anyone.
Back when I did that, I dialed *70, waited for the next dial tone, and dialed normally. I forget which carrier that was. Verizon is *67 these days.
Search for "Verizon block caller ID" for example. Verizon has a page and I'm sure the other carriers do, too.

  • How do I block my number when calling someone

How do I block my number when I call someone?

You need to request that to your carrier.  Only they can hide your number from the Caller Id feature. Its not sometihng you can do on your phone.
With that said, what does this have to do with Appleworks?   Apple works is an old defunct Office suite, like iWork, and Ms Office.  I'll request this be moved to the iPhone forum.

  • Want hidden number when calling phones.

I am using my skype account for international mystery-shopping. Is there anyway that I can hide the number? Currently it looks like I am calling from California when I call, which looks strange when I do mystery shopping to European businesses. And since I do multiple calls to the same place I would like for the call to be anonymous. Help??
    Thank you for responding.

  • If you block a mobile number, can they hide their number and get thru to your phone showing 'no caller id', If you block a mobile number, can they hide their number and get thru to your phone showing 'no caller id'

I have blocked a number, but can this person still get through to my phone if they hide their mobile number?

Hi, I was having the same issue, I have many numbers blocked but when then choose to hide their number the Phone would ring.
I have since found a solution.
    Settings
    Do Not Disturb
    Manual
Allow Calls From - All Contacts
With Do Not Disturb on all the time, only people in your contacts can contact you, and all the people you have in your Blocked lists still stay blocked.
Just be careful when you have your phone on silent, this will stop all notifications coming through, including text alerts etc.
But for me its either this or change my number which i really cant be bothered to do
    Hope this helps
    Cheers

  • Hide "my number" doesn't work

I got a new 8900 replacement (under warranty) and I know this worked on my old phone but somehow it's not working on this new one.
Inside the Call log, menu >> options>>general options>>
Show "My Number " = NO
But my number still shows up whenever i'm making a phone call.
I tried turn off and on. Battery pull too.  Double checked after battery pull, and it is "NO"...
    Help?
    Thanks.

the show my number option is whether you want to see your number on the call screen, when you dial a number it shows your number, that's all that does. I'm not 100% sure how to hide your number but it might be the "restrict my identity" option on the same menu

  • How do I protect my Verizon blocked number when texting?

I was shocked to find that my Verizon iPhone blocked number was in fact revealed when I sent text to an Android user who was employing a little app refused by Apple named Mr. Number.  I like to know that I am safe and protected and when and when I'm not.  I like to have anonymity upon certain occasions when using my phone.  I had always placed trust in Apple for ther supposedly having my best interests in mind as they control their world and the trade-off to us, their loyal consumers, was to expect a safe and well managed environment.  I have found so many instances where this is not the case.
After finding that my blocked number was revealed to this Android user employing his Mr. Number app, I immediately did a search and ended up at the app store and downloaded everything I could find that promised to do a similar thing, though ultimately nothing did what Mr. Number does.  I even paid for two or three of them and upon initial review, I found that not one actually even did what they claimed to do.  I'll of course be spending more time with each to see if I've missed anything, but I have to say how very very dissappointed I am in Apple for not providing more security to its iPnone users when it surly must know what we are up against.  Apple does in fact know about Mr. Number as after visiting their web site they state that "Apple doesn’t allow developers to build better calling and texting apps for the iPhone."  I surly agree with this statement.
Apple!  Please consider the vulnerability we have as you've not allowed us to protect our privacy sufficiently.
Are there any suggestions or resources, apps etc.., that I've not heard of?  Any suggestions to making my phone more protected when it comes to my phone number and other information associated with it?
    Many thanks in advance!

just assumed that I was being protected when using it.  Not the case I find, by accident.  So much for assuming...and not getting into the fine details with, I guess, Verizon as I pay them for the basic blocing service...or at least I think I pay...maybe ints included...
Caller number blocking { ie your number when you call someone } ONLY covers the CALL part of the service. There is NO way to block your phone number EVER when sending a text message.

  • How to display only contact containing a number when accessing from phone

Many of the contact in the address book, contain e-mail only data. These are very useful for mail but are distracting when you launch the address book to call someone. Is there a way to show only names that actually have a phone number, when you open the contacts from the Phone app.

    Not that I'm aware of.
