Hide Glitch in Events: How do I unhide a Hidden Event?

I have a series of pictures that I wanted to hide, so I put them all into one event. I then selected ALL the pictures inside that event and clicked the Hide button. Because I selected every picture, the event itself is also hidden. Now, I cannot figure out how to unhide those pictures.
Under normal circumstances, you would select the event that contains the pictures you want to unhide. However, since I hid every single picture inside the event. The event itself is no longer visible and I cannot figure out a way to restore those pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SaddleSC:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Have you tried the toggling the View->Hidden Photos menu option. That should let the hidden photos, including the hidden event, be seen so you can unhide them. If that doesn't bring them into view you might try rebuilding the library as follows: launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

    I transferred a movie from a digital copy to iTunes and tapped Hide by mistake in the Downloads. How do I unhide the movie? It said to do this in account info, how do I do this on the iPhone or computer?

    The movie is from iTunes.   You would think that a download from iTunes to a MacBook could be watched on an HDTV using Apple TV without any headaches bit this does not appear to be the case.

    Check your Trash. Select Put Back if it's still in the Trash.
    If you need to re-install open the Mac App Store (MAS) and go to Purchases. Find iPhoto and select to download.

    I hid my folders in outlook for mac by mistake (inbox, sent, etc).  How do I unhide them?

    Microsoft probably do, since they are the people who developed Outlook. Have you asked them on their support site?
    Alternatively, you can create IMAP folders in your iCloud email account at iCloud.com and they will show up in Outlook when the account is refreshed.

    In Fluid Grid layout, I have hidden 2 <div> for mobile layout. How do I unhide them?

    Hi there,
    I visited your site using Dreamweaver CC and tested it using the default Desktop, Tablet and Mobile sizes, followed by the Smart Phone Size.
    The CSS you currently have sets the featurest <div> to 'display: none' when viewed on screen sizes lower than 480px:
    Another helpful way to find out what is going on with your CSS is to test the site with Firefox using Web Developer Tools to inspect the element (or alternatively, Adobes Inspect tool). You can right-click the image and "Inspect Element" then resize the browser window so you can see exactly which CSS rule is being applied and overrided.
    My suggestion would be to add an additional media query in Dreamweaver to handle all screen sizes below 480px and then set divs or elements you want to hide or show display property to visible.
    Hope this helps!

  • HIde button on events

    Hi,
    Can some body elaborate how to hide buttons on events.
    Regards
    Sameer

    Hi,
    You can use PPR.
    Step 1. create a VO which contains one transient attribute of type boolean
    Step 2. Base button rendered property using SPEL
    Step 3. Initialize your VO for PPR(inintialization includes insertion of one row and set the attribute as True)
    Step 4. In the event handler where you want to hide button just set it false.
    Sample code:
    //Code to hide button
    public void handlePoApproveChangeEvent()
    // Get the special, single-row application properties and make the first
    // (only) row current.
    OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject)findViewObject("SampleBrowserPVO1");
    OARow row = (OARow)vo.first();
    // Get the value of the view object attribute with the PO Approval
    // status.
    OAViewObject poVO = (OAViewObject)findViewObject("PurchaseOrderHeadersVO1");
    OARow poRow = (OARow)poVO.getCurrentRow();
    String status = (String)poRow.getAttribute("StatusCode");
    // Set the application property values based on the PO Approval
    // status value.
    if ("APPROVED".equals(status))
    row.setAttribute("HideButton", Boolean.FLASE);
    //Code to initialize VO
    public void initializePPRExamplePage()
    // Create purchase order header
    OAViewObject appPropsVO =
    (OAViewObject)findViewObject("SampleBrowserPVO1");
    if (appPropsVO != null)
    // If the VO already has a row, skip its initialization. Note that
    // calling getFetchedRowCount() won't perform a DB hit on a VO with
    // no SELECT and only transient attributes.
    if (appPropsVO.getFetchedRowCount() == 0)
    // Setting the match fetch size to 0 for an in-memory VO
    // prevents it from trying to query rows.
    // Calling executeQuery() is a small workaround to a known
    // BC4J issue that ensures that modified rows in this
    // transient view object are not lost after commit. See
    // View Objects in Detail for additional information about
    // both of these calls.
    appPropsVO.setMaxFetchSize(0);
    appPropsVO.executeQuery();
    // You must create and insert a row in the VO before you can start
    // setting properties.
    Row row = appProposVO.createRow();
    appPropsVO.insertRow(row);
    // Set the primary key value for this single-row VO.
    row = (OARow)appPropsVO.first();
    row.setAttribute("RowKey", new Number(1));
    row.setAttribute("HideButton",Boolean.TRUE);
    // Initialize the application properties VO (and the UI) based on the
    // default PO approval value set on the underlying object.
    handlePoApproveChangeEvent();
    else
    // throw exception
    } // end initializePPRExamplePage()
    SPEL Parameter:
    ${oa.myVOName.HideButton}

  • How do I unhide occult files in Finder?  SHOW OCCULT FILES?

    Hello everyone!
    I have a file on my pen drive that is a occult file in Windows Explorer. but there's a configuration option there that allows me to see occult files anyway. When I put it into my mac, the occult file obviously doesn't show. How do I make it appear? How do I unhide it in finder?
    Thanks so much for your help.

    If this is the command you used to show hidden files...
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true ; killall Finder
    then just reverse it to hide them again...
    defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean false ; killall Finder

  • How do I unhide a jpeg?

    I have several jpegs which are hidden for some reason and I want to permanently unhide them so they appear with all my other jpegs in the finder window. I have unhidden the jpegs in question so that I can see them but I would like to know how to make this permanent so that when I go back to hiding all the files that need to be hidden the jpegs won't stay hidden. I've searched Google and I can only find info on generally unhiding files, not how to permanently unhide a file. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

    Open Preview. In the open file dialog box, aim it at the folder where your hidden images reside. Press shift+command+dot, and your hidden images will appear in the dialog. To rehide them, repeat this keystroke.
    This works with dot files, and files hidden with chflags.
    In the Finder, you need a mash a button and get an answer solution.
    The following AppleScript can be saved as an Application via the AppleScript Editor, and placed on your Dock. It is a toggle too. It will show/hide every hidden file in the Finder window. The dot files and chflags hidden files will be shown as faded, and cannot be opened with a double-click, but rather the right-click contextual menu.

  • Powershell - how to unhide a hidden site column?

    Hello,
    I have used the following script to hide a field from the user community. It needed to be both - invisible inside Sharepoint content types and within the DIP (Document Information Panel) within Office 2010.
    ## Reference to SharePoint DLL
    # Specify url of the sitecollection
    $hostheader = "http://workspace"
    $site=new-object Microsoft.SharePoint.SPSite($hostheader)
    $rootweb = $site.rootweb
    $column = $rootweb.fields.GetFieldByInternalName("AdditionalData")
    $column.required = $false
    $column.ShowInDisplayForm = $false
    $column.ShowInEditForm = $false
    $column.ReadOnlyField = $true
    $column.Update($true)
    The question is now.. how can I unhide this field again?
    The column's property hidden is set to true. I cannot directly set this property as it says that
    hidden "is a read only property".
    What do you propose?
    Sven

  • When I use FTPFire the .htaccess file uploads as hidden. How do I unhide it once it is uploaded?

    My .htaccess file shows live on my c drive... When I upload it to my web host, it loads as hidden...
    How can I unhide it once it is uploaded?

    That is the purpose of that file. On Linux a file that start with a dot is a hidden file and there is no need to see that file anyway because it is meant for controlling the server behavior. I assume that FireFTP has a setting to show hidden files that you need to enable if you do not see the file.

    So, how do I unhide the URL window?

    It is still there at the left most part part of the address bar, but you have to press and hold the trackpad to use it.

    Hello evan95 and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    On your main home screen, hit your Menu key and look for "Show All". The SMS icon will appear grayed out in the background. Highlight it, hit the Menu key and remove the check mark by Hide. It should then turn dark and now be visible.
