Hide "Hold" button in PR

Is it possible to hide the "Hold" button in a Purchase Requisition?

Hello Luis,
The holding functionality of purchase requisitions works only in PS
(public sector) systems (formerly IS-PS, today EA-PS) since 4.6C, if
-> the indicated BAdI ME_MEREQ_PARKING is active and
-> the PR does not contain any errors on MM side.
If the holding is not allowed because of inconsistencies in the purchase
requisition, the button will be hidden again. The other way said:
Holding is only possible, if:
- Public Sector is active.
- in the system the BAdI ME_MEREQ_PARKING was implemented and it was
activated.
- and modification from note 1068913 isn't implemented.
- the PR is consistent (but error messages from the funds availability
check will be tolerated). More information as explained in note
704777.

My SHOW ALL and HIDE ALL buttons work in the View Selected
Item mode. However, the compiled version generates an error tag:

In short, the the compiled chm is located in the SSL. I tried

I've tried to follow your instructions to the letter, but I'm
not having any luck.
1) I copied the showhide.js to
a) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder
b) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL
c) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL >
MicroSoft_HTML_Help
2) I pasted btnhideall.gif, btnshowall.gif, printerblue.gif
into
a) RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder > SSL
b) they are also listed in RoboHelp 6.0 > Project Folder
3)The Project Manager > Baggage File originally displayed
a
a) Project (Name) folder
b) ehelp.xml
c) RoboHHre.Ing
I opened the Baggage File > Project (Name) folder,
selected New Baggage File, and added, respectively:
i. btnhideall.gif
ii. btnshowall.gif
iii. ehlpDhtm.js
iv. printerblue.gif
v. printerred.gif
vi. showhide.js
vii. TCA.fpj
vii. root.fpj
4) I also opened rhbag.apj in Notepad. It shows
a) ehelp.xml and RoboHHRE.Ing accompanied by
<usercreated>false</usercreated> tags
b) the remaining baggage files are accomanied by
<usercreated>true</usercreated> tags
5) Finally, I used Notepad to display two topic files in
which the error message identified a Line: XX. In one case the line
# is 42, in another, 19. In both cases, when I counted lines,
starting with <body>, I ended up on:
onClick="JavaScript:hideEm()"
However, I am none the wiser for my effort and don't know
what (5) might be telling me.
6) The only thing I can think of is that the compiled chm
file is two levels away from the Project Name directory that holds
all the files. The files live in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
while the compiled help is found in Robohelp 6.0 > Project Name
> SSL! > MicroSoft_HTML_Help > Project Name.chm.
Should I be adjusting the Relative Path within the topics?

DISABLE "REQUEST HOLD" BUTTON ON SRS

How can I disable/hide the 'REQUEST HOLD" button on standard SRS for all users? I updated the responsibility to exclude the "REQUEST HOLD" function but that did not change anything. Does anybody here know how to do this?

It does sound like it from the function name, but I can't find that function on my site, so I don't know what the function on your site is used for. To be certain if you can do something like that to remove the hold function from the View Requests screen, you would need to work through the logic in the form itself (see what conditions the form uses to enable the button).
You didn't say what version of Apps you are on - do you have Forms Personalisation available (Help -> Diagnostics -> Custom Code -> Personalise)? With some forms developer knowledge, you may be able to use forms personalisation to hide or disable the button.

How can I hide a button with javascript in Captivate 8?

I need to run some javascript in my project and at the same time I want to hide a button, so I can't use advanced actions.

It is very strange, most users who have focus on JS try to do everything with it, whereas lot of simple actions can easily be done with advanced/shared actions. I will only go to JS when it is not possible with advanced/shared actions.

it might be a malfunction in your device. you might ave to send it to repairation

I presume that you mean that the switches do not light up as appropriate when you select a Patch in MS?
If so, in Layout Mode, select each of the buttons in turn, and check that they are a) Assigned to the correct MIDI CC number etc, and b) that "Send Value to" has the correct Port selected.

How to disable MOH for "on Hold" button.

CUCM 6.1
When on a conference call if a user presses "on Hold" button, music is played for all participants and nobody can hear anything. How can I disable music on hold for all users?
Please note, I could disable MOH for conferencing. But this is different issue. This is e.g. when everyone is in a conference (no matter what conference system, it could be ready talk, meeting place,...)and a participant receives another call and wants to answer the other call, in this situation I don't want any MOH played for other participants.

I first tried "suppress MOH for conference" by service--> service parameters -->select server --> select callmanager --> go to "clusterwide parameters(Feature-General) --> change the "Suppress MOH to conference Bridge" to true"
This did not work. The reason is that these users are accessing an internet coferencing system like "ready talk" and not a cisco conferencing system, so for Cisco this does not appear to be a conference but it is like a regular call.
I only have two callmanagers which also serve as MOH servers.
Media Resources-->Music On-Hold Server -->Set Run Flag to "NO"
This is explained in "MOH FAQ" from cisco.

The other way of doing this is not to assign any MOH server to the MRG or create a device pool without any MOH. (Media Resource Group set to NONE)
Although the above disabled the MOH, still the TOH "Tone on Hold" which is beep-beeps played every 10 seconds was annoying. So I increased the interval to 20 seconds by the same instructions in "MOH FAQ" how to disable / change TOH. Go to same page explained above but to "clusterwide Parameters(Device-General) and change "Tone on Hold Timer" Value to 20.

My Nano turned off - now it wont turn on or charge (hold button off)

My nano will not turn on - it briefly turned on, then switched off immediately. I thought it was fully charged, but when I tried to charge it, nothing happened - it did not even register on the computer. I fear it is fully dead - how do I get it fixed...and no, the hold button is not on!

You may need to allow the nano to remain connected to the computer or a wall adapter to charge for awhile. Take a look at the links below and see if they help. They mention things you state aren't the problem (such as checking the hold switch)but there are other things that may be the issue.

JavaScript in the PDF can hide toolbar buttons

According to the Javascript docs for Acrobat 7 the App.HideToolbarButton function only runs at AppInit. Which means that I would have to have the javascript in a file. How can I do that from within the document? Is there another way to to do set this from our web application?

Perhaps that's simply a feature that isn't supported by presenting a Captivate intended for the web from inside a PDF?

Hold Button Not Working

The hold button on my iPod video recently stopped working for no reason I can see (I've never dropped my iPod or gotten it wet or anything). Essencially, when I switch the hold button on, nothing happens (it certainly does not lock the buttons and the little lock symbol doesn't show up).
Is this something I can have repaired under the warranty? I would like to have the hold button since it helps keep songs fron accidentally playing. I wasn't sure if I sent the iPod in if it's something they could fix or replace or whatever and I couldn't find anything on the site about this so I thought I would try posting here for help.

It might be, though as you have already tried it is less likely.
The hold switch is largely a mechanical switch and I hoping that maybe he electronic end of the switch might just need restting which could happen during a firmware upgrade (or in your case re-grade).
Nowt to lose...give it a while...else its the repair shop (get an estimate first, a new one maybe cheaper)
