Hide messages for External Interface Program Error

Hi,
I am facing problem in removing the external interface errors encountered during EPC of a Y program. Can you please suggest any solution for hiding the error in the custom Y program using #EC.

Hello IvoK,
The 9881 needs to be externally powered. You can do it with a CAN Breakout Box or with a CAN cable.

Customizing message for 500 Internal Server Error

Hi,
I want to customize the error message for 500 Internal Server Error. I added the following code in the web.xml file
              -<error-page>
          <error-code>500<error-code>
                     <location>/Error_Pages/500.html</location>
              </error-page>
After adding this code i restarted the server but still i am not getting the customized error message. Please tell me what am i missing.

Facebook games not loading, Error message was SSL peer rejected a handshake message for unacceptable content. (Error code: ssl_error_illegal_parameter_alert).

The facebook game not loading properly, it getting struck, when i refresh the page Error message was showing. The error message was

I had reset the firefox, but it doesn't fix my problem. I had checked same page in other browsers, like Google Chrome & Internet Explorer. I didnot get problem in that browser, The problem coming in firefox browser only.

Just one thing i want to explain you that previously it was working fine but suddenly (might after upgrading in R12) started giving error. I had tested with old data files also which were loaded successfully in the system. but now it is giving error. Please help me in this issue.

Can we cancell message for particular condition. Example I want to cancell message for that particular interface. Do we have to run some report for this. Please specify the name for the report which I have to run???

Create a cache for external map source - Error in parsing xml request.

When doing the following:

I get "error in parsing xml request" when setting the following
Map service Url:
http://neowms.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/wms/wms?version=1.3.0&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities
It looks like it is breaking on "&". Any suggestions?

Then I replaced the Cache bean with a stateless bean which has methods like

As far as I undestood, the shared cache should automatically store the genre and avoid querying the DB multiple times for the same genre, but unfortunately this is not the case: if I use a FINE logging level, I see really a lot of SELECT queries, which I didn't see with my "home made" Cache...
I am really confused.. :(

Industrial Communications for CANopen - interface create error

Hello,
I am trying to run some basic examples, which I have found with example finder in directory - NI - Industrial communication for CANopen -> cRio -> FPGA bitfiles -> CANopen_cRio_heartbeat.vi.
But the block "Interface create" gives me the error -2147136667.
I am working with cRio with NI 9881 module. The module is connected to Festo robot.
Do you have please any idea what could cause this error ?

You are trying to start an interface that is missing bus power for the transceiver. Some physical layers on NI-CANopen hardware are internally powered, but others require external power in order for the port to operate. This error occurs when starting an interface on hardware that requires external power when no power is detected. Supply proper voltage to your transceiver. Refer to the CANopen Hardware book of the NI-Industrial Communications for CANopen Help for more information.

Runtime exception for other than programming error.

In a conversation the question arose whether it could be a case of throwing a runtime exception for anything other than a bug. The tutorial on oracle site says "These Usually Indicate programming bugs" leading to think that can be used in situations in which there is no bug.
Anyone have a practical example of a runtime exception when there is no bug?

There's not a whole lot of use made of what checked exceptions provide, and there's a lot of ugly boilerplate code that doesn't do anything useful for the app but is just there to satisfy the compiler.
So, some people think that checked exceptions are useless, or mostly useless, and favor unchecked exceptions in most or all cases. I believe that's part of the philosophy of Spring, but I'm not totally sure.
The idea is that since most of the time you can't do anything about exceptions that might be thrown to you, it's wasteful and pointless to have all that code to catch and rethrow. In this viewpoint, it would be better if, for example, not providing a throws clause at all meant that you could throw any exception. Any given code can still catch specific exceptions that it knows it can handle, but we don't have to write a bunch of code notating something that we're not really doing anything about.
Personally, I used to be totally in the checked exception camp. However, all the pointless boilerplate is wearing me down. I'm still not completely convinced though, and here's why: If I'm calling a method, I'd like to at least be able to see what might go wrong, so that I can decide how to deal with it. If all exceptions were unchecked, and the throws clause were optional, a conscientious developer could still provide it, and list the unchecked exceptions his method might throw to me, and/or he could document them in the javadoc comments. But a lot of developers won't do that, or even if they start to, as their method evolves, without the compiler to enforce it, they won't keep it up to date.
So there are advantages to both approaches. I personally would to know that the information will always be available to me, but for the small percentage of the time where I actually use it (like handle one specific exception one way and some other exception differently), I'm not sure if it's worth the overhead.

Repeating console message for non-existant program?

When I open console I see HUNDREDS of these messages, which repeat every few seconds:

I no longer have this program installed and haven't used it in MONTHS. Can anyone tell me how to get this to stop? Thanks!

Got an answer from Bombich themselves, after clearing all the info relating to CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) and restarting my iMac the repetitive message is now gone:
"You have a schedule created by CCC v3 still trying to run. Download a fresh copy of CCC from B4 U post…. Drag CCC to anywhere, e.g. the desktop, and launch it. In CCC menu > "Scheduled Tasks..." delete all schedules (delete, not just de-activate) and "Save". Your /Library/LaunchDaemons should now contain no CCC files. You could have deleted them manually, but deleting them from within CCC is probably more advisable. I'm not sure, but you may need to re-boot for launchd to be updated.
To clear everything relating to CCC, trash:
CCC
~/Library/Preferences/com.bombich.ccc.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.bombich.ccc_helper.plist (if it exists)
/Library/Logs/CCC.log
/Library/Logs/CCC.stats"

Getting "Can't sign in to Lync" message for external server?

I"m trying to join a webinar hosted by Microsoft. I click on the link item in my calendar and sign in using my outlook.com email address. However, I get the "Lync couldn't find a server for outlook.com. There might be an issue with the Domain Name
System..."
I don't have Windows Firewall running, and I can access outlook.com for web mail.
Any ideas?

You can join the Lync meeting using Lync Web App, if your computer install Lync client, you can copy the Lync meeting URL and enter in IE browser and add
?sl=1 behind. Then join in as a guest.

Configure a sharepoint 2013 site for external and internal access

I need to configure a local install of sharepoint 2013 so that users can access it internally and externally using windows/AD authentication. The internal and external addresses are different.
I have bound an external ip to the domain for external access.
I have created Alternate Access mapping, and bound the host header but I get a file not found message for external access.
Have I missed something here? why the error and how can it be fixed. Step by step process would be appreciated.

According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when accessing the site externally.
The most common cause for this is that the IIS host header is configured incorrectly. The 404 will appear because we are hitting a different IIS web site and not the one we are intended to.

Program error while executing query

Hi,
We are on 2004s front-end patch 700. I am able to create and change the queries but when I execute the query, I am getting short error message which says "Critical Program Error Occured, pls refer to the trace for further information".
I am not very sure where to look for this error. But when I executed the query in RSRT it is working fine.
I have also tried activating the trace but nothing is captured there too.
Can you please help..?

Hello Samay,
I believe you are running the query in Excel.
You are in 700. I would advise to use the latest patch if possible ( > 904 ).
May be, that will solve your issue.
Otherwise, please attach the trace file details.
You can record a front-end trace as follows:
1.) Start BExAnalyzer
2.) Go To Global Settings
3.) Go to the trace tab
4.) Check "Record Trace"
5.) Close the dialog
6.) Close BExAnalyzer
7.) Reproduce the problem
After the "Critical Program Error" popup appears you find a file
BExAnalyzerTrace.txt in the %temp% folder.

Unable to open Ps because of : program error

Lr function normally: Ps just don't want to open because of this message . Up to date done 10 min ago with no success. Delete the program and reload ?

What is the program error have you looked at any logs or crash reports for the Photoshop program error what you wrote has no real meaningful information. Has no infornation about what your even trying to use.
