Hide Person Responsible field for IW21

Hello,
As a business process requirement, we were requested to hide or greyout the "Person Responsible" field in IW21.
Can any one help us set that up.

Config - SPRO - PM & CS - Maintenance service processing - maintenance and service notifications - Notification creation - Partners - Define partner determine procedure and partner function - Assign partner functions to notification type - select the notification type and detail - remove selection from " Person responsible" ( Blank)

spro --> plant maintenance & Customer Service --> Master data in Pm&CS --> Basic Settings --> Partners ---> Determine Partner Determination proc & Partner Funct --> Undr this am selecting the partner object as Plant Maintenance ->Change Partner button-->creating a new partner det proc as PM -->Selecting the PM and then clicking on the Partner Functions Folder-then i have selected the the check box and saved
after that i have created the maintenance order but it is not showing as a mandatory field, may i know the actual problem in this

1. If u want to make Partner as Mandatory for Maintenance Order then the config path u have given is correct and at the same time check whether that partner procedure is assigned to order type in OIOM ..
2. If ur looking for Making Person Responsible field as Mandtatory then check under field selections in config path
else u can use user exit ;- IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event to perform validation while saving .. u can have an error message to be poped-up to fill that field filled..

Add Option of choosing values from list in "Person Responsible" field of Cost Center Master

Dear All,
Could anyone advise me how can I add the option to Choose Values from list to field "Person Responsible",
in Cost Center Master Data ?
The Technical Name of this field is VERAK, and currently it is an open field.
I would like to allow the user to choose values from existing list.

Hi Orly,
You have take it to your ABAPer, who will have to modify the attributes of CSKSZ-VERAK field in CSKSZ structure. ABAPer will have to define it with foreign key and introduce the name of the table, which will be used for deriving the available values. No standard table exists for it, but you can either create your own Z-table or take it from users table (USR02) if you have the necessary information there. Of course, this action would account for modification of standard SAP structure.

Manage Person - Mandatory field for Singapore

Hi,
User requirements have changed and what seems to be marked as a required field for new people in Singapore (field is "Legal Name") is no longer required. I was not involved in the initial implementation.
The only place I've seen to add/remove required name fields and set a mandatory flag is under the "Manage Person Name Styles" task - but when I try to remove it there I get the following error:
Warning: You cannot deselect a name component that is predefined as required. (PER-1531563)

Person Responsible field Account Details Relationship

Hello experts,
we are using CRM 2007 and at the Account Details there is a field 'Person Responsible' where it appears the Standard relationship 'BUP011'.
I wanted to ask if there is anyway in customizing to show a different relationship...
I found that there is an entry in the BP_HEAD/AccountDetails in Context Node 'EMPLOYEERESPONSIBLE' at the attribute STRUCT.PARTNER2 the method SET_PARTNER2. I changed the entry but it didnt work...
Any help??

Person Responsible Table Field

Hi,
I need to find a table for "Person Responsible" field maintained in Service Order IW33.
I need to get the person responsible based upon Order number.
AUFK-USER2 does not contain any value for AUFK-AUFNR (Order number)
Suggest the required table.
Please help!

Table Name : VAFILOA
give the order number in VAFILOA table and pick the INGPR (Planner Group for Customer Service and Plant Maintenance),GEWRK.
INGPR description you can find in table T024I.
give GEWRK field to OBJID in table CHRD. pick the fields ARBPL,WERKS
give two fields ARBPL,WERKS in table M_CRAMA pick the discription Mn.wk.ctr

Person Responsible & Department field

I want to make Person Responsible field and Department field mandatory, so that i can view the values in the Preventive Maintenance as well as Calibration Order.
can anyone tell me the complete procedure on how to go ahead and make it possible?

Now here i can see department responsible (partner fn as AB) and also Person responsible (Partner Fn as I3 also as VW) ---> hw to make them mandatory... which is the check box to select and what all values i need to put there?

Creation of person responsible in CR01 (work center creation)

Hi
During the creation of work center (CR01). The following details are entered before i get the error message
1) Work center and its description
2)Work center category
3)Usage
4)Backflush
5)Standard value key
But i am unable to enter the PERSON RESPONSIBLE field (Message is NO VALUES SELECTED MAINTAIN ENTRIES).... if I am selecting yes with this message it is routing me to Choose Customizing project.
Please help me creating person responsible field

then enter on continue w/o specifying project
then it's take u to location
here double on any or PP work center
then new entries
and specify one name here
then back, back & back
now u can get the name here

maintain directly in T-code OP10

give ur plant & person name
this should solve ur query

Change Manager and Person Responsible

Why the Change Manager partner function is defined with function category "Person Responsible" and the CRM relationship "is responsible BP for"? This is related to the "Person responsible" field of a change document in the transaction crmd_order, when I use the find tab? What does it happen if I define the Change Manager like a simple employee?

Under HRMS Manager=> Security, you can find *"CustomForm"*
You can select "Combined Person & Assignment Form" as the form to be customized and restrict based on Person Action and Person Type.

I want to include the name of the 'person responsible' who is responsible for processing a specific notification. How should it be done.

Select the notification type S3 - service request, double click on partner functions.
chose valid partner function for person responsible field.
In IW51, enter notification type S3 and press enter.In customer address screen, execution segment you can see the person responsible field

Person responsible in marketing projects

Hello Sap Guys,
I have a question about the Person Responsible in Marketing Projects.
Is it just the responsible for being the person in charge for the creation of the project? or is it the responsible for approving it (workflow for approval)?
If it is just the responsible for the creation... is there any way to be automaticaly assigned?

PS on ERP not update after changing person responsible on PPM Phase or Task

I've implemented BADI DPR_FIN_GECCO_ATTR to update additional attributes on the ERP side, such as person responsible and some of the user fields. In a normal create of the project everything works fine. When only the person responsible is updated in cProjects no update occurs on the ERP side. Everything is updated properly on the PPM side, there is no error on COCPCPR, but the person responsible field is not updated. If the person responsible is updated on the PPM side and also another field, like the long text, everything works fine. For some reason, the change of just the person responsible does not trigger a replication on the ERP side.
Has anyone come across a similar situation? Is there a way to trigger that the ERP side should be updated?

I've been able to identify the problem and need help with the solution. The problem when just the person responsible is changed on a task in PPM is that change is recognized as a change to the object CL_DPR_ENTITY_LINK. This type of change does not identify the task and insert a record in the change table for the task object. In method ON_APPLICATION_OBJECT_CHANGED of class CL_DPR_APPL_OBJECT_CHANGE_MNGR the table mt_updated_objects needs to be updated with the task if it is not already present when this type of change occurs.
My question is how can I get the task object associated with the DPR_ENTITY_LINK object to insert into that table?

I've extended BUS2080 (ZBUS2080)- service notification. I would like to add an attribute- the responsible person for processing the notification (partner function 'VW').
I used CALL FUNCTION 'QQWF_RESPONSIBLE_FOR_NOTIF'
container-element = 'NOTIFICATION' .
ac_container-elemlength = '012' .
ac_container-type = 'C' .
ac_container-value = the function requires a value that contains the object type and the notification number
(e.g. BUS2080 000200000353)

How to change the Org Data depending on the Person Responsible?

Hi Group,
I have a requirement relating to Org data changing as :
while creating the activities in CRM, by default I was getting the Org data for the person responsible ( whoever has created the Activity ).
there is a provision that, we can change the Person Responsible for the Activity.
and when the Person Resp is changed, the Org data also to be changed accordingly....
But, this was not happening due to some technical reasons....
So please give me some inputs as how to change the Org data according to the changes to the Person Resp.

Person responsible inheritance

Hello Guys,
I am just wondering is there any std way to have the person responsible name from maintenance plan to work order ?
I don't see any field in maint plan to put the person name which will inherit to work order and also in the shop paper.
I have used sort field in maintenance plan and it reflects in shop paper thru customizing but it did not reflect in work order....if I want to have my sort field info in work order, any exits will help me out to make it happen ?
Also in normal work orders, we do have person responsible field in work order which can be refelcted in shop paper thru customizing but is there any std way apart from this ?
I remember used to assign the person name to workcenter thru HRMS but not able to remember it solves my purpose on this scenario in anyway.

I understand this is not standard functionality and tried with "IPRM0003 User fields: Maintenance plan" but this exit is not directly updating the value in person responsbile field in WO rather it is updating in the "Z" field ( newly created) at the back ground.
My issue, I dont see the exit in IW32 to pass the value from Z field to person responsbile field. I have tried with almost all the exits and most of them does not have the importing function to implement it.
My goal is to pass the value mentioned in the Sort field to Person responsble field in WO. With the help of above exit,
I could pass the value from sort field to Z field(at the background) but I could not pass the value again from Z field to Person resposnsible field.
