Hide Tab Bar command

Under the View menu, there is a command that says 'Hide Tab Bar'. Mine is grayed out. Is anyone else able to select it? This command works with the Windows version.
btw- I liked the tabs on top in the Mac beta version

You should be able to select it. Try deleting the com.apple.safari plist from Home/Library/preferences.

How to use the Hide Tab Bar Command in Yosemite?

I guess I need a lesson in some basic Safari functionality. In Safari 8, when only one page is open (one tab, therefore), the Hide Tab Bar command in the View menu is functional. But, when a second tab is opened, the command is grayed out and the tab bar (at least in my configuration) is on screen with both tabs.
What is the point, therefore, of the Hide Tab Bar command if it is only functional when one tab is open? Or, do I need to configure my Safari differently so it can be functional with many tabs open?

I tried this solution (using CP 5.5) but only to limited success. The TOC search seems to be able to pick up on some of the script but not all. I think it might be chronological, as in it will search within the first part of the script but not in latter parts, but I can't be sure. Are there any limitations to this solution, such as script (within the text box) length? Also, this may or may not be related, but the TOC rearranged and renamed all of my slides. For example, I have no duplicate slide labels and they are in order within the project, but my TOC looks like this:
Slide 2
Slide 2
Slide 3
Slide 4
Slide 4
Slide 21
Slide 40
Slide 70
Slide 16
etc...
As the project plays, the TOC status checkmarks jump around the list, appearing next to the corresponding slide (although in most cases mislabeled). Any guidance correcting these issues would be most helpful. Please let me know if you need any more information.

I want to hide tabs under My trips and expenses.
I am on ECC 6 EH 2 . I looked at configuration component but could not see anything for tabs

Hi,
To solve the issue, delete the query in powl_type and powl_query transaction.
Run the Report POWL_D01 to clear the cache and load the application again.

Hide tabs of a tabstrip after authority-check

Hi experts,
I would like to hide tabs of a tabstrip depending on the user that is running the application. We have created an authorization-object "Z" to restrict this.
The scenario will be the following: for example, he have a tabstrip with 4 tabs. USER1 could only have editable tabs 1, 2 and 3. And USER2 have the restriction of not viewing tabs 1 and 3.
How can I associate each tab with the authorization-object?

It depends on how you have create the authorization object: it should be have 2 fields
-one for the tab number
-one for the action (Create, Change and Display)

SAP Strategy Management 10: Is there a possibility to hide tabs?

For example, to hide "Reports", "Dashboards", "Briefing book". I saw in demo video that they had these tabs hidden.

When you set up your roles in NetWeaver you can decide which rights and actions different roles have. If you don't want a certian role to be able to see a tab you don't assign that action or right.
There are rights for SSM_ViewDashboard, SSM_ViewReport etc.

Any way to turn off Safari's full screen, auto hide tab bar mode?

FInally took the plunge and upgraded to iOS 8 on one of our i-devices. Really like the Panorama camera mode-- well done, Apple!
However, I was staggered to find that Safari now hides the tab bar as soon as you start scrolling down a web page! What's with that? I guess lots people wanted a full screen mode. OK, but for the rest of us, is there an option to turn off that mode and keep the tabs permanently visible?
With the new set up (now old to many of you), it takes 2 taps every time you want to close a tab or move to another one. That gets old fast! Plus, the animation each time is visually distracting and tiring and also gets tiresome. My browsing involves a lot of switching among tabs, so this is a real step backwards.
Hope there's a work around! Otherwise, we're going to have to leave our iPad Air at iOS 7!

I also stumbled upon the tap at top... The scroll upwards, though, rarely works for me! For example, here on this site one has to scroll down a long way, quickly. (It gets confusing, doesn't it? One slides down to scroll upwards!)
In browsing today, I realized that my habit is to come to the end of a story, then tap the close button on the tab bar, which takes me to the next tab and its story. Now, under iOS 8, I end up having to tap, watch the animation, then locate the button, and tap again. It doesn't sound like much, but it's a nuisance when one is moving from tab to tab reading news stories.
Of course, if I could wave a magic wand and fix just one thing about the iOS, it would be the incredibly lousy handling of contractions via auto-correct. It virtually never works unless one slows their typing down to the speed of molasses! I've used the feedback on that one, too, but iOS 8 in any of its incarnations has not fixed that!

Need to hide tabs in CRM 5.0 SAP GUI for a business transaction

I've created a custom complaint transaction in CRM 5.0, and I need to hide some tabs and fields when I create it or edit it via SAP GUI. I've searched through the help, and I figured out that probably I have to use transaction CRMV_SSC, but than I'm blocked.
Has anyone some hints or guides that can help me?

if you activate the technical names in the menu, you'll see that transction for maintaining sales transactions is called:
crmd_bus2000115
So there you have it, it's BO BUS2000115

Show/Hide tabs in a report using profiles

Hi,
   There is a need to show hide/show tabs based on User Profile or any other method.
   There are 1. Summary 2. Detailed Tab in report.
   For data analysts client want to show Detailed tab so that Analysts can work on Analysis. Managers shoud be able to see only Summary tab.
This is required to reduce no of modificatiosn required for reprots. This helsp to avoid prolifiration of reports as well.
Pleas help on techniques/ tools to get this requirement at the earliest.

I do not think this functionality is currently available in WebI.
However you could break these report tabs into two different reports and using access privilges make these two reports available to the concerned team.
You can log a request at https://ideas.sap.com to directly work with the product group to check if this exact functinality could be included or not.

(Chrome Like) Auto-Hide Tab bar in Safari Full Screen mode

Is there a plugin or some other way to auto hide the tab bar in Safari fullscreen mode like the way Chrome does?
This is the only thing stopping me from using Safari, it's way smoother than Chrome and feels much more native to Lion, but the fact the tab bar just keeps hanging there is annoying.
I tried the Cmd+I method mentioned in the community, but it only works when you're only opening one tab, if you open several tabs, the tab bar will show up again. It also comes back up once you exit Full Screen mode.

Hello myzzzl, this is normal behavior in full screen mode, you can set the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.fullscreen.autohide browser.fullscreen.autohide] in about:config to False, to change that, but if you do that tabs and location bar is enabled in full screen mode.

Personalization to hide tabs on Asg section of Combined Per&Asg form

Hi
I have a requirement to hide several tabs on both the person form and the asg form of the Combined Per&Asg form in Oracle.
I am doing the same functionality for both - basically finding the tab and setting 'Displayed' to 'FALSE'.
For any tabs on the Person screen, this is working perfectly, however the personalizations are not taking effect in the Asg screen.
When I go into the Asg screen the tabs are still there as if the personalization hasn't fired.
If I then go into the personalization and click 'Apply' it hides the tab but obviously I can't have the users doing this.
Any ideas?

Hi Martin,
May be the event that you select is really not firing.
Select HELP >> DIAGNOSTICS >> CUSTOM CODE >> SHOW CUSTOM EVENTS
this will show up the events that will fire with each action you take
use the one that fire in the moment you want to be the personalization event.

actually we came to the point that you cant hide them in the normal way.
everything you do oItem.Top or oItem.Visible will influence the whole group.
the last solution can be - put a big empty (with no caption) statictext label over the folders !
than it looks like the other folders are not there
give it a try - that's the last idea i have regarding this issue.

Hide Tab in Selection Screen After Pressing Button

My requirement is I have to disable the tab in the selection screen when the user presses the button 'Disable Tabstrip' which is present in Application toolbar..
And it should come back if the user presses another button 'Enable Tabstrip' and that time the above screen should hide.

But the problem is.. this selection screen is not the default screen.. this is user defined screen.. and SY-UCOMM is not giving any value on the "AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT" Event..
