Hide the booger - not a joke!

Ok, I am a recent convert form Vegas and the thougt of dynamic linking and editing blows me away... so very cool.
I have a clip of me at arm's distance... to my credit... it was five in the morning... my daughter was being born. In any case, yeah... I have a boog in view. i want to dynamically link to AE, use paint brush to paint black and then being that edit back to Premiere Pro. I am using the cloud/CS6.
Here is what I know:
1. create dynamic link and new AE composition
2. copy and paste the clip from PP to AE
3. use the brush once
4. click down to path
5. go frame by frame click the brush in the right spot to correct the mask
6. save all
What am i missing? it didn't seem to work.

1. create dynamic link and new AE composition
There's where you went wrong.  From Premiere Pro, right click on the clip in question, and select Replace with After Effects Composition.
The rest should fall into place.

  • How-to hide the portal file shares on Windows

    Hi,
    Does anybody know how to hide the default file shares created by SAP NW 04 in windows?
    In other words: what I'm trying to accomplish is renaming the sapmnt share and saploc share (both on the E:\usr\sap\ folder) to sapmnt$ and saploc$.
    I know how to do the Windows part, but where and how do I configure the SAP Web AS part?
    Regards,
    Steven Dijkman

    Hi guys,
    Thanks for all the feedback.  However, this still does not fully work.
    I tried hiding the folder but it in fact only hides the folder, not the share itself. I'm trying to do the opposite, hiding the share (making it an administrative one) whilst not hiding the folder. With the folder hidden, the startup framework (NW 04 EP6 SP12) does not work.
    By the way: checking / tightening access is not an option: security architects dictate what needs to happen here and unless I have VERY good reasons I should comply to what they say: change saploc to saploc$ and change sapmnt to sapmnt$.
    If anybody has anymore thoughts, I'd be very interested.
    Cheers,
    Steven Dijkman

  • Is there a way to hide the Safari icon?

    I have some good web filtering software for kids, but it doesn't work with Safari. So I want to remove the Safari icon from their accounts (without making a seriously restricted account.) All I want to do is hide the icon, not remove it because the web filter software will likely include Safari in the near future.
    What I don't want to do, so please don't suggest it: I don't want to use the built in parental controls for Safari because it doesn't work like I want it to. I also don't want to set up a seriously restricted account for the kids - I want them to have "Standard" user privileges.
    Suggestions?

    If you really want to do that, be aware that Safari would be invisible to everyone, not just the kids. Even so, you'd need to login as the Admin user and use a tool like Super Get Info to change the visibility setting for Safari. After that's done, you would need to remove the Safari icon from the Dock of each account for your kids; otherwise they'd still be able to run Safari, even if they can't find it.

  • How do I hide the Windows (XP HOME) taskbar on the left edge of my screen?

    While I am in Firefox; I would like to hide the Windows taskbar on the left hand side of the screen, so that it appears when 'touched' by the cursor.

    You can move the taskbar to top, bottom, left or right edge of your monitor as the TonyE and cor-el suggest, when it is not locked (right-click on a blank spot in the task bar; a check mark next to "Lock the taskbar" indicates it is locked; toggle locked to unlocked by clicking on "Lock the taskbar").
    You can have the taskbar automatically hide, by right-clicking the "Start" button, click "Properties", click the Taskbar tab, place a check mark (click) "Auto-hide the taskbar" (note, no need to unlock taskbar to change this option). When you move the cursor to the position of the taskbar (left, right, top, bottom of the monitor) the taskbar will slide/pop into view; when you move the cursor away, the taskbar will again auto-hide. '''<u>The option is all or none, there is no option to hide it only when surfing the internet.</u>''' You can turn the taskbar back on (to always display) by un-checking the "Auto-hide the taskbar" option.
    See: http://www.coolnerds.com/XP/Taskbar/xpTaskbar.htm (see the "Setting Taskbar Options" section for auto-hide and other options)

  • Hidding the MDI menu hides also the message line ?

    Hi all
    why we cant see the message line if we use
    usesdi=yes parameter i. i just want to hide the menu not the message line
    can i do that ?
    thanks

    The correct method to hide the MDI Window menu, is to create your own menu and use a "Magic Item" of type window and then set the "Visible in Menu" property of this item to "No" and then attach this menu to your form.
    However, talking about the problem you have at the moment :
    I am not sure which version of Forms you use and whether you also have "separateFrame=True" or not. It is even not clear if you use Jinitiator or not.
    There is one bug in Forms 6i :
    Bug 1400711 "NO MESSAGE BAR WHEN RUNNING IE5, NATIVE JVM AND USESDI=YES"
    This is marked to be fixed with patchset 9 and above (Forms version 6.0.8.18.3). If you think the versions and the usage fits your situation, upgrade to latest patch level. You can obtain further information about this bug and latest patchsets from metalink.
    For all queries involving testcases or queries that are potentially bug related we recommend you log a Service Request (SR) with Support via Metalink (http://metalink.oracle.com).

  • Hide subtotal based on the values not the field.

    Hi,
    i am developing an ALV(FM) report to display the status of the Sale order (cleared and not cleared). my need in this is
    1. i need to show the subtotal of the cleared sales orders values only and hide the not cleared SO values.
    2. while sorting by status, i want to show the status for each rows rather than displaying on the whole.
    please provide me some hints for this.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Have you appended the fields to sort table like this:
    it_sort-fieldname = 'Item Field'.
    IT_SORT-TABNAME = 'GI_FINAL'.
    IT-SORT-SPOS = '2'.
    IT_SORT-SUBTOT = 'X'.
    IT-SORT-UP = 'X'.
    APPEND IT-SORT.
    it_sort-fieldname = "Header Field'.
    IT_SORT-TABNAME = 'GI_FINAL'.
    IT-SORT-SPOS = '1'.
    IT_SORT-SUBTOT = 'X'.
    IT-SORT-UP = 'X'.
    APPEND IT-SORT.
    HERE SPOS IS SORTING POSITION...
    LIKE IN YOUR ITAB..
    SORT ITAB BY Header-field and Item-field.
    THE PREFERENCE OF SORTING....

  • How to hide or do not show the receipt's name after miss called?

    1. How to hide or do not show the receipt's name after miss called?
    2. I do not want to show my message statement in the screen.

    I have also registered to this forum to inform that the problem with showing the MAC-address in the sidebar of the finder is still not solved.
    The strange thing is that the Embedded Web Server says:
    "This specifies the Bonjour domain name assigned to the device, in the form <host name>.local. If a user-specified host name has not been assigned, the default host name HPxxxxxx is used, where xxxxxx are the last 6 digits of the LAN hardware (MAC) address. This option cannot be modified."
    But I did assign a user-specified host name and that name does show-up everywere (also within Bonjour), except in the sidebar of the finder (hp###xx##x####). Lots of people have the same issue, when searching on the interet, but not one has found the solution.
    Please help with solving this issues?

  • I am trying to hide the Options menu in UserChrome.css but it is not working. Here is what I have tried menuitem[label="Options..."] {display:none !important;}

    In the userChrome.css I have tried the following entry: #updateSeparator, #checkForUpdates {display: none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Options..."] {display:none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Add-ons"] {display:none !important;}
    menuitem[label="Get Bookmark Add-ons"] {display:none !important;}
    The other lines work, but the line to hide the Options menu does not. This in on Windows 32-bit XP sp3.

    It is an ellipsis (…) and not three dots.
    If there is an ID for a menu entry like in this case #menu_preferences then it is better to use that ID.
    <pre><nowiki>#menu_preferences, #menu_openAddons, {display:none!important;}</nowiki></pre>
    "Get Bookmark Add-ons" is a normal bookmark that you can remove via the right-click context menu or move elsewhere.

  • Need my action to hide the grid, but it's not recording it

    Hi!
    My question is simply this:
    Is it not possible to hide the grid as part of a Photoshop action? When I perform that step, nothing gets recorded.
    Is there any way around this?
    Thanks!

    At the appropriate place in the Action, go to the Actions panel menu (top-right button) and pick "Insert Menu Item..." then select the grid hiding command.
    Or did you do that and it didn't work?

  • Hide  the cursor when it not move?

    how to hide the cursor when it not move?
    i know how to creat a hide_cursor,but i want to hide it when the cursor not move and show it when it starts move again
    thank you!

    Create a javax.swing.Timer that has a 5 second initial
    delay, non-repeating. When it fires, it should hide
    the cursor (set to a blank cursor or whatever you have
    to do). Then on mouse motion events, you show the
    cursor and reset the timer.A good idea - is there no mouseNotMoved-event ?
    heres my sample-code:import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import java.awt.image.MemoryImageSource;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import javax.swing.event.MouseInputAdapter;
    public class HiddenCursorListener extends MouseInputAdapter implements ActionListener {

              timer.start();

    Reread the instructions. You cannot hide purchases on the iPad itself if you are running iOS 6 or higher. You have to hide the purchases in iTunes on your computer - not on the iPad.

  • The new version of firefox does not meet my customization needs, because I can't hide the navigation bar.

    In the old version of firefox, my window setup looks like this: http://puu.sh/8wFeJ.png
    I can't replicate this in the newer version, even in the classic view, I can't hide the navigation bar.

    With the classic view extension provided by Mozilla, you have the ability to move that, as well as the URL bar, back down to the bottom where I usually keep them. This leaves me with an empty navigation bar but no way to hide it.
