Hello,
after creating Objects (e.g. a new iView) in PCD of CE7.1 Portal a message box appears that states "Object successfull created" and this box has to be "clicked away" every time.
Does anyone know a way to get rid of this boxes in a general way ?

    Hi,
    Under Tools ... Options ... Workspace, there is an option "Display Object Name Tool Tips While Pointing".
    Try clearing that.

  • A way to temporarily hide the selection box around an object while nudging it.

    InDesign
    I would like to see a simple "Hide All" type command, similar to the "Hide Extras" feature in Photoshop - this would leave the page in a blank/ "preview" like view, but with selected objects still selected and therefore able to be moved around without seeing the Blue Selection Box.
    PROBLEM:
    I am looking for a way to temporarily hide the selection box around an object while nudging it.
    I want to visually nudge items around to find the ideal placement and I find the selection box distracting how it follows the object around as it is being nudged.
    (For anyone familiar with Photoshop, —I am looking for something that works exactly like "Hide" cmd+H  (VIEW > Extras) does in PS - where the selection goes away but the object is still adjustable.

    Thanks, but I don't see how that's helpful really.
    SHIFT+W goes into full on presentation mode already.
    Also, —this still doesn't solve the problem of being able to move an element around without a selection box getting in the way.
    I don't believe that a solution exists, I'm just checking with the community if one does.

  • How to hide the dropdown box in my search screen

    hi,
    I am new to jsf. Here , i am posting the question first time.
    I am developing a search screen. I want to hide one dropdown box in that. can anybody help me on that?
    This is the code :
    <h:panelGrid rendered="true" width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="10" cellspacing="10" columns="2" styleClass="tabletext" style="vertical-align: top">
    <h:panelGrid rendered="true" border="0" columns="1" style="vertical-align: top;">
         <h:outputLabel rendered="true" value="Ranger District:"> </h:outputLabel>
         <h:panelGroup id="regionDropdown">
                                  <h:selectOneMenu rendered="true" id="rangerDistrict" value="#{energySearchBean.district}">
                                  <f:selectItems value="#{energySearchBean.districts}"/>
                   </h:selectOneMenu>
                   </h:panelGroup>
              </h:panelGrid>
    </h:panelGrid>
    Thanks in advance.

    If you want to hide it at the server side, use the 'rendered' attribue and let its value evaluate to 'false'. If you want to hide it at the client side, use the CSS 'display' property and set it to 'none'.
    By the way, having 'rendered="true"' hardcoded in all components is superfluous. It is just the default value.

  • Hide the command box in sap gui

    Hi,
    Good to see the SAP GUI form,
    we are bringing SAP R/3 transactions in Enterprise Portal,
    every time the r/3 transaction opens in iview (SAP GUI for windows).
    It shows the normal screen with "Command box" on the top,
    now we dont want the user to browse the sap system using the command box.
    any info on that..is it possible to hide or remove?
    Thanks for help,
    -Krishna

    Hi Krishna,
    note 648452 states that the command box will not be displayed for inplace SAP GUI for Windows sessions if you set the following registry value:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\Customize] "HideCmdLineInplace"=dword:00000001
    If you want to disable the command box also for outplace sessions in the portal then you may set in addition to above value the following:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAPGUI Front\SAP Frontend Server\Customize] "HideCmdLineInplaceAllSession"=dword:00000001
    Best regards,
    Christian

  • Hide the list box

    Hi;
    how to hide the GUI objets when a page is printed : for example when I print a page with a list box, the list appears into the paper (its very obstructing).
    Regards;

    Yes, hidden page items and application items are never available for manipulation by the user. I think the situation the OP is seeking help with is a regular visible form item which is conditionally rendered on the page.
    you can't set the value of that item (and use the new value) in the current page submit process because it's not in the page at the time of the page submit
    I disagree. If a page item (with any display-as type) is rendered on a page, it is saved into session state when the page is submitted.
    But even if it is not rendered on the page, the value of the page item can still be manipulated by after-submit processes.
    In other words, if a page has a item called P1_FOO defined, regardless of whether the item is rendered on the page, you can
    a. read that item's value using :P1_FOO/v('P1_FOO')/&P1_FOO. during after-submit processing.
    b. change the value using :P1_FOO := 'blah' or apex_util.set_session_state().

  • How do i change or hide the dialogue box that pops when i mouse over a link?

    i'm using adobe acrobat standard.
    i'm editing a document and adding links into the PDF to my website.
    i prefer only to show the "hand/pointer" when you mouse over the link.
    is there a way to:
    a. hide the dialogue that pops up when you mouse over a link?
    b. is there a way change the dialogue that pops up when you mouse over a link (e.g. Click Here versus the actual URL).

  • The verification boxes to prove I'm human do not appear in Firefox. How can this be fixed?

    When registering at different website a verification box that should appear with the squiggly letters that you type in to prove you are a human do not appear on my screen. I had to register for a site in Google Chrome because Firefox hid the verification box. How can I fix this?

    See:
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_or_animations_do_not_load
    If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
    *Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
    *Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
    *Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
    *Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
    If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
    Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images
    There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

    Can I hide the set time in the event boxes in the Week View?

    David
    No way around this that I can find. That toolbar pops up if you pause the show.
    The nearest I could figure is to use the settings button for a long slide - 'Play each slide for 120 seconds' then tapping the arrows will move the slides along without showing the toolbar. And the 120 second slide is almost as good as a pause.

  • How to hide the cursor in text entry boxes

    I didn't see this answer in the forum, and it took a while to figure this out so I thought I'd post my
    solution.
    The issue is that a question requires that the user know where to click before typing, then type the correct value.
    The problem is that a text entry field shows the cursor; a dead give-away as to where the user is supposed to type.
    My solution is:
    1) Hide the text entry box (give it a name and uncheck 'Visible' in the options).
    2) Add a transparent button (with default text if needed) over the area where the user must click.
         - Set the 'Success' option to 'Show', and make the 'Show' item the name of your text entry box.
         - Disable all captions (unless they get points for clicking in the right place).
    3) Set the object timing so the button displays until clicked, then end the button display.  Start the display of the text entry field immediately after the end of the button display.
    The effect is that the user clicks the correct area, then the cursor displays in the correct location, ready for the text entry.

    Brilliant!
    You get a gold star for this idea.  Very original thinking.
