Hiding Fields in Standard Program : RFITEMAR ,LDB : DDF

Hi Experts,
Am using standard program : RFITEMAR ,as per my requirement i dont need
to display all the fields in the standard selection screen,i juss want to hide the fields which
i dont want to dispaly in the selection, as there are some dependencies i dont want keep that code in active state.
can anyone pls help me/suggest me with my logic/guidance would be helpful and very much appreciated.

SHDO Tcode is used for Transcation Varient which is used to hide the fields
or display additioal fields in sales order.
According to my requirement i copied the standard program into a custom program
thats where am tryig to implement changes.am not sure wether that would fulfill my requirement.
do let me if know any solution /guidance would be helpful and appreciated.

if it is a report program copy it as a Zprogram.
create a ztable in se11 .
add fields and data entries finish all those work there.
and in the copied std pgm
add select-options: s_new_f1 for ztable-f1.
or u can also use parameters: p_f1 type ztable-f1.
under : at selection-screen output.
<perform select query operation for the new ztable.>
select singe * from table ztable wa_ztable where f1 = p_f1.
so that the new field willl also come along with the standard output.

Add selection screen field in standard program

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to add a language selection screen field in standard programs (RFSUSA00, RFITEMGL, RFIDPL11, RFBELJ10_NACC, RFIDPL06, RAGITT_ALV01 , RFASLD15 , S_PL0_86000028 , RFCASH00 , RFIDPL18).
This is such that when I select the appropriate language the output should get printed in that paticular language. Can someone help me with how to do this?

Hi Dixitha,
Use implicit enhancement option.
Desplay the report in se38.
In Menu, go to Edit > Enhancement Operations > Show Implicit Enhancement Options.
The system will show you lines (in color) where you can add your enhancement.
This function will allow you to add business rules, substitute fields, do extra calculations, and other unique, non-standard requirements.

Hi,
What you can do is find an USER-EXIT or a BAdi (business add-ins) for the standard program.
It is not avisable to change standard code as if you go for an upgrade then all the user-defined code will be lost.
But using the above approach the user-defined code will be replaced/lost.

Assign search help for a screen field in standard program?

Hi All,
Is there any other way to assign search help to a standard SAP screen field? (to be precise i want to assign search help to Recipient field in table control of components tab in transaction IW32/IW31)
I know we can do this by assigning search help through screen painter (by changing standard program, which is my last option).
Any advice/help will be greatly appreciated.

PCH ldb - hiding fields on standard selection screen

Hi,
I am using PCH ldb in my report. The standard selection screen which appears initially, does not show us the "object selection period" fields directly (it is hidden initially). It is displayed only after the "other period" button is clicked.
The requirement is that the "object selection period" fields should be displayed directly without requiring the user to click on the "other period" button.
When using PNP ldb, it is possible to create a report category and hence this can be achieved in PNP. But i am unable to find any solution for the same in PCH ldb.
Does anyone have some idea about implementing the same.

There are no report categories for PCH.
If you enter some values in the dynpro variables it will jump there automatically.
REPORT zmf_pch.

INITIALIZATION.
pchobeg = sy-datum.
pchoend = sy-datum.

Hiding fields in standard SAP Transactions

Hi All,
We have a requirement to hide some fields in ME51n, ME21n, ME31k,ME11,MIGO,ML81n,MIRO
I know we have screen layout at doc level through which we can make the fields as optional, display and mandatory.
Please let me know the standard way to hide som of the not required fields in these transactions.

Hiding fields in standard user management view

Hi all,
How to hide fields in user management views.
Like in the create user view, suppose I want to hide the additional information fieldgroup. how can I do it?
I have the par file and tried to comment the code which is related to the additional information field group. But when we try creating an iview from the new par(modified par-i changed changed the name ) I do not c the portal component called create user. I am a bit confused.
Can anyone help me out regarding this.

You have to modify below structure, as this structure is providing the field catalog for output display (ALV).
Here you can see there are a lot of include structures, so if you want to add fields in the output display you can add those fileds as an append structure to any of the below mentioned structures (Like ukm_s_account, ukm_s_bp_cms_sgm etc as per your requiremnt and positon at which you need to dispaly your fields.)

Another way is you can go to SE38, and you can create implicit enhancements.One enhancement point is available here in this required area. so create an implementation and add your fileds with data types.This way is also simple.

Searching a standard field in Z Programs

A quick question: how can I find which Z programs are used a determined field (i.g.: LFA1-STENR).

Hi Michel
Where used enquiries in SE11 can tell you where the table OR data element is used, but not both together.
If you want to look specifically for a field within a particular table or structure, such as "LFA1-STENR" you would be better to use a string search in the priogram code.
Standard program RSRSCAN1 gives you the facility - you can specify a string to search for (or pattern) and a range of program names (e.g. Z*).
You can also opt to expand the includes in the programs searched.
Of course, if the field is not referred to directly by it's full name, you won't find it!

You may use one of the function modules - just check them and choose the one which best fits your needs:
- function modules from function group SDYN
- function modules from function group SDOP
With these two fugr you may get also the flow logic of the sccreen

I think this should be possible. While doing LSMW, when the first record is uploaded system reads the fields ans stores them.

i have standard program RFDEPL00, i have to copy this one into Zprogram and need to add the purchase order number and text into the output display(purchase order number will take from VBAK-BSTNK),
could any one help me how to bild the logic for this and where to build?

In include program FDEPL00_SHOW line 18, call the alv function module.The out put internal table is gt_data.I think you can debug the program and add find the right position to add new field to the gt_data table.
But i found include program FDEPL00_READ use LDB method to get the vendor information.So i think it is not very easy to add code in FDEPL00_READ.
Maybe you can add code before call alv function.
