Hiding members of a group/div on the timeline

Hello, I believe there is a shortcut key for rolling up the members of a div on the timeline (kind of like you would use folders in Flash, and exactly the way it happens in the edge elements panel.) I need less layers on my timeline to cut down on the scrolling and hunting for specific layers. My coworker accidently hid hers while randomly keysmashing and we can not reproduce it. Since it's a keyboard shortcut--there's probably another way to make it happen but I can't find it. Anyone using this feature know how to toggle between the hide/reveal of elements in a div on the timeline? Thank you.

Hi ,
The Elements and the Timeline panels include controls that you can click to quickly hide and show(toggle off and on) elements on the Stage. When you show or hide an element(clicking on the Eye icon) , the Eye icon(show) or grey dot(hide) appears in the Visibility column on the Elements and the Timeline panel.
Do let me know if you need any other info.
Thanks and Regards,

  • Can't remove static members using "Manage Group Members"

    Using the OAM 10.1.4.2 Group Manager app, I can remove static members from a group by modifying the Member property, but I can't remove members using the "Manage Group Members" page.
    When I search for members using that page, I get a list of the current members with an unselected checkbox for each. If I check the box next to a member and click Save, the member is not removed from the group. I turned on trace-level logging and saw that the correct user is being passed to the Identity server to be removed, but I haven't yet found anything to indicate why the removal doesn't work.
    Has anyone else run into this issue?
    Thanks,
    Matthew

    Hi Vinod,
    I'm running on Window 2003 against a Microsoft ADAM directory. I turned on diagnostics and re-ran the test using both "Manage Group Members" and modifying the property directly-- from what I can tell, the ldap modify only happens when I modify the property.
    (I had also noticed the problem with the instructions, but I eventually figured it out-- if I can get this working, I'll have to fix the verbiage before I deploy.)
    Any ideas? What platform and directory are you using?
    Thanks,
    Matthew

    Hi,
    FieldPoint Explorer is no longer used to configure FieldPoint systems. However, I do not think that the configuring your system in FieldPoint Explorer is causing the error.
    FieldPoint systems are now setup in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX).  Information on setting up FieldPoint systems in MAX can be found in the MAX help under: Installed Products>> FieldPoint. Also, I recommend upgrading to the latest FieldPoint driver and version of MAX.  The FieldPoint VI's will be slightly different when you upgrade, so there is a good chance that this will eliminate the error.

  • Can I create a group in which the members are not listed?

    My organization is jumpy about revelaing "private" information (in ths case e-mail addresses) "publically." Is there a way to create a group so that the e-mais of individual members are not listed (e.g., "undisclosed recipients""

    Go to the Mail Menubar/Mail/Preferences/Composing/Addressing: Uncheck: When sending to a group, show all member addresses.

  • Querying for the members of a group using the PRC

    I've been combing through the PRC API for a way to query for the members of a group (not the ACL, but the member users and groups).
    I can't find anything that seems to do this for Plumtree 5.0x using the PRC. Am I missing something or is this just not implemented? Seems like a major oversight to me. If any Plumtreevians are listening, can I add a feature request for those methods in your next release of the WS Server?
    Thanks!

  • The organization of tab-groups isn't working properly because tab-groups now go in to hiding behind other tab-groups why is that?

    When I try to change the size and placing of the tab-groups some of the tab-groups gets under the tab-group i'm changing and the tab-groups can't be organized as good as in firefox 4. This is very annoying since I love the tab-groups.

    Nissan,
    Thanks for the response, I did move some items around in the hierarchy, which apparently could have been the source of the original problem. However, I have too remaining dilemas/issues/questions for those interested in understanding why tabs are so disfunctional:
    1. I checked the XML and the Traverse tags are what I want, but not how the tab order is behaving? What could be causing this??
    2. I selected all the fields I wanted from the form, copied them and pasted onto a new form, and still had tab order problem. I was hoping whatever got messed up would be restablished correctly by pasting them in the new form. Anybody got an idea what could be copied that tweaks the tab order?

  • AD integration, making AD groups members of OD groups

    Hello everyone!
    I have a 10.4.8 server bound to AD. It is an OD master. On order to define Mac OS X preferences for my users/client computers, I need to work with OD groups.
    So I create a new OD group, and grab the appropriate AD user groups and make them members of the OD group. Then, if I define this OD group as the one authorized to log-in to a specific machine (in the OD machine groups), and manage the login preferences for that machine so that it shows the list of authorized users at login. No go! Nothing happens.
    If I add a single AD user to the OD group, all is well, and it shows up in the list of users at the login screen of the machine.
    So, Open Directory does not seem to be able to see the members of Active Directory groups. Bummer!
    Ideas anyone?

    Well, this issue really seems to be limited to a specific area.
    In my testing, I was able to assign specific permissons on a shared folder to an AD group. The members of that AD group were able to connect to the mac server and have only the permissions I gave them on that folder, which is hosted on the Mac server.
    So in that case, the AD members are 'seen' by the Mac server. But not when it comes to populating a login screen list.

  • How to edit members of a group in Address Book?

    I need to add and delete members of a group in my Address Book. There seems to be no Edit function, though, and although I managed to type in a new name, when I opened the group, the new name had disappeared (and the old, deleted names reappeared).
    Underlying that problem - and the real problem that drives me to write you - is that there is apparently no HELP function that would contain lot of How-To-Do-Directions. Having that would improve the program significantly.

    Hi jnewcomer,
    I believe this to be a Thunderbird Question. I will move ya over to that component.

  • Can't edit members of my group message?  4S / iOS 8.1

    Up to date iPhone 4S user. I can add people to a group message, but if I go to details and swipe to delete on a name nothing happens...I can't seem to delete a user from the chat. (a friend asked to be removed from a particular group) Also to see if it was just that one chat, I started a test group message and can't seem to remove users from that one as well. If I delete the group completely will the other members be removed as well or will my friend continue receiving messages?
    This is frustrating...is this because someone in the group message is using an older phone or iOS?

  • ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 1 of thread 1

    Hi
    I'm restoring a database on a different host. I have the backups, from which I want to restore the database. I made the corresponding changes in the initSID.ora file and started the script to do the restore.These are the steps I followed:
    connect target=/
    run{
    startup nomount;
    allocate channel c1 type disk;
    allocate channel c2 type disk;
    allocate channel c3 type disk;
    allocate channel c4 type disk;
    restore controlfile from '/tmp_backups/rman/lev0_open_cf_SID_2826_1';
    alter database mount;
    set newname for all datafiles
    restore database;
    set until logseq = 29317 thread = 1;
    switch datafile all;
    recover database;
    alter database open resetlogs;
    One mistake I made here is that logseq should have been last seq+1, which I did not do. I have it as last seq.
    Restore of datafiles and switching of datafiles was fine. But I get error for redo log files.
    ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 1 of thread 1
    ORA-00312: online log 1 thread 1: '/u13/oradata/SID/redo02a.log'
    ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
    SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory
    Additional information: 3
    Why is it looking for at the old path yet?
    I'm not sure what I missed and how to proceed. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Mamata

    I do believe that set newname for all datafiles only means actual datafiles and no redo logs. So with open resetlogs, Oracle tries to create new redo logfiles where the backup controlfiles says they are.
    As with creating a auxilliary database in another filesystem, we use DB_NAME_FILE_CONVERT and LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT.
    I am not sure if it is possible to type "set newname for all datafiles" and expect also the redo logfiles to change location.
    You might try to set these two parameters and see if it works.
    good luck.

    I now realized what happened and how this happened. During a clean-up effort this file was accidentally deleted and unfortunately we don’t have any backups.

    All I am able to do now is to mount the database but not open it.

  • Lsgrp - list all members of a group

    lsgrp is a small and fast utility written in C that does just one thing: it lists the members of a group. It can be used in scripts that need to do something for each user in a group, such as setting up directories or generating per-user configuration files. There is a section on the project page explaining why a new utility was necessary.

    I agree, addressing a new message to a group using Address through the Mail program seems to fill in just the first recipient's name.
    A work around is to start your new message, click on Address and select the group you wish to send the message to. Take the extra step to highlight the first person in the group and then command-A to select all. When you then click on the To: button all of the recipient's will be in the address line of your mail message.
    Alternately, start your new message and then type the name of the group in the To: line (don't use the Address button at all). You don't have to get all of the name typed in before the group name is identified. When the group name has been properly identified just hit the Return key and all of the group members will be filled in the To: line. This should do what you are hoping for.

  • Make members of a group local administrators

    I have a 10.5.2 server and mixed 10.4.x and 10.5.x clients. Is there a way to setup users with Workgroup Manager such that members of certain groups are seen by the clients as local administrators?

    Hi Nige-B,
    Failover Cluster Manager requires Full Control, so there is no way to delegate the read-only users. However we can have read-only privileges for PowerShell management. We can
    use the following command:
    1.
    Open the PowerShell command with administrator privilege.
    Import-module failoverclusters
    Grant-ClusterAccess domain\user1 –readonly
    NOTE: You can type "-Cluster clustername" to grant access to another cluster.
    3. Then the user domain\user1 has the read-only privilege to see the current status of the cluster, or can see the parameters.
    For more information of this cmdlet, please refer to:
