Hiding navigation bar and title in Excel

Hi everyone,
I want to export to excel using the standard functionality provided by BW, but I don't want the navigation bar and the title displayed (it distors column sizes and users have complained...). Is there any way to achieve this?
Any ideas?

I have a web-based BW report (template) that I want to export to excel using the standard functionality provided by SAP. However, I only want the data (table) to be exported, not the navigation pane. You mentioned in an earlier post that you can have the navigation pane in one sheet and the result in another. Is this right? If so how can it be done?

You can open the Bookmarks Manager (Library: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) and select in the left pane "All Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar" and select the bookmarks that you want to remove.

Navigation bar and blog, not publishing

would anyone know why the navigation bar and the blog are NOT publishing to .Mac / my personal domain? I sent a request to the support but I have not heard back from anyone.

The NAV bar seems to be an issue with some Theme's and some Browsers. In the 08 iWeb they went to an XML scipts method over the hard coded method used in the 06 version of iWeb. You can see the feed.xml in the root of your site and a Scripts folder with the info and stuff in it.
Basically I found that older versions of Netscape showed a single DOT on the NAV bar line but the new version and Firefox worked fine as did Safari and PC browsers.
Others with other Theme's have had different problems and I had different problems with text and such.
The thing that really scares me is that if I bring my site up under Dreamweaver it comes up all screwy.
All's I want is a simple web site developer package that works.

Larger fonts in Menu bar and title bars?

I recently purchased an Intel Mac Mini for my mother. She does not have the greatest eyesight and I would like to increase the size of the font used in the menu bar, window title bar, etc.. In Windows there is a "large font" theme that does this very nicely.
Is this possible?
The only thing I found that might help is the "Zoom" mode and thats not going to work. She has enough trouble using the mouse as it is and this will only be more difficult...

You can use Universal Access, it's in Control panels
to 'display fonts no smaller than' a specific size,
this is probably what you're looking for

OK, Let us try this again.
If I bring up "System Preferences" and then click on the "Universal Access" doohickey I get a control panel applet that has 4 tabs. The first tab labeled "Seeing" does not contain any option to set a minimum font size. It only contains the "VoiceOver", "Zoom", and "Display" options. None of these options allow me to set the minimum font size. The other tabs in the universal access applet are "Hearing", "Keyboard", "Mouse and Trackball" -- none of these contain anything to do with setting font size.
Perhaps you can provide more detailed instructions to find this mysterious font size setting?
I just searched again in this forum and found this recent discussion which seems to say it is not possible to somehow enable larger fonts in the menu bar and title bar and such. This is ridiculous. Since you can now get LCD displays that have very high pixel density the physical size of these fonts is quite small. Changing the display resolution is not a valid solution since everything gets blurry when you use an LCD at non-native resolution.

Need the navigation bar and logo to remain still

Hello everyone,
I am creating a prototype for an app and my problem is when i scroll down in the program the items such as the navigation bar and logo move also but i need them to stay still where they are, can you please help? also the contact bar at the bottom need it to stay at the bottom. I am not so familiar with programming codes so if you can provide simple answers i'd really appreciate it, thank a lot!

Yes, disabling hardware acceleration fixed this for me too.
I hope that this bug gets fixed and that I can use hardware acceleration when the final phase comes out.

In my experience, the code created by graphics apps is less than satisfactory. And image based menus are very awkward for several reasons.
#1 If you decide to change your menu later, you must go back to your graphics app and re-craft the whole thing. After 2-3 times of this, it gets old in a hurry.
#2 Image based menus cannot be "seen" by search engines, screen readers and language translators.
#3 CSS styled text menus are better for your site's visibility, accessibility and they are a snap to edit in Dreamweaver.
That said, if you're still married to image based menus, use Fireworks to create images only. Use Dreamweaver's Image Rollover Behaviors to create your rollover scripts.

When I set up my new computer, I was unable to restore my navigation bar, and someone else's replaced mine

I set up my new computer from an external hard drive that I shared with my daughter and is configured to her computer. Even though I downloaded the newest version of Firefox and have my email address in the preferences, I still am showing my daughter's navigation bar and bookmarks. I can't access my own

I do not use a Mac. But when you install a new version of Firefox it will try to use existing settings etc from what is known as the profile. The profile includes your bookmarks.

If you share a computer with someone normally each user has their own profile, and there may be permissions preventing users accessing one-anothers accounts. Firefox will normally setup a profile in each account. You will need to search for and find your old profile.

Hide menu bar and title bar in a JFrame

I'm using a JFrame for a kind of viewer application. I start it as normal, so the JFrame has a JMenuBar with menus and the title bar with the application name.
So far, all right, but at some point I would like to press a JButton to make the viewer application full screen, that is, hiding the window title bar and the JMenuBar.
Any idea?
PD: I've tried the method myJMenuBar.setVisible(false) in order to hide the menu bar, but it seems it doesn't work because I'm using the Look&Feel Metal with border decorations.

With version 5 of Firefox, if I open more than 1 session, most of the time I cannot see anything in the navigation bar and my back and forward buttons do not work.

I open 1 session of Firefox 5.0.1 and everything seems to work fine. Then I open a second session of Firefox and most of the time the navigation bar does not show the page that I am on and the back and forward buttons do not work. When this happens, the first session always remains working. I am an internet marketer so I have at least 2 or 3 sessions going at any given time.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I have no navigation bar and firefox will not open in safe mode to reset to default config. Reinstalling doesn't work. Any help please.

I have no navigation bar ever since I closed it to gain more space on the screen. It won't re-open. Firefox will not open in safe mode, but opens immediately in normal mode with the new improper config, so I cannot reset to default config. I erased Firefox and re-installed and it still opens with the same faulty config. Why does Firefox not give me the safe mode dialog box, why can I not re-open the nav bar, and how can I do these two things, please? Firefox is currently unusable for me without a nav bar and without access to the default settings in safe mode. I cannot research the extensions I'm running since I have no nav bar to go to Tools, Add-ons, Extensions.

Suddenly, my custom url buttons disappeared from the navigation bar and I can no longer add new ones. FF22

I am using Firefox 22 (I like its features and do not want the features added in later version.) I have added a handful of custom URL buttons to the navigation bar that allow me to go instantly to websites I visit frequently. There was/is a function in Firefox for adding such buttons. This morning, after leaving my computer on all night, I found that the custom buttons had disappeared and I could no longer find the function for adding new ones. Can you tell me what has happened and how I can add custom URL buttons? I will appreciate your help. Thank you.

I solved my own problem. This function was added by Google Shortcuts, which somehow became disabled. After fussing ariound for a few minutes. I was able to restore it.

Iweb 08 installed but now navigation bar and other properties aren't showin

iweb 06 was working beautifully. Then loaded iweb 08 and published. Now the navigation bar doesn't show in most browsers and other letter shadowing and picture shadowing aren't showing up as well. I've checked to be sure the navigation isn't turn off. I've published all and I've published singularly. Still no luck.
Help please. Folks can't get to my site and navigate and see how nice it is...

I have no problems with other websites, therefore I assume that this is iWeb related and Apple should produce a fix for this.

Hiding navigation bars in online AS 3.0 reference

The online Flex 4 Beta language ref. seems to have been replaced by the AS 3.0 combined reference. Is there a way to hide the navigation bars that offer filtering options so that more of the reference content can be seen once the settings have been made?

I found the problem. I had converted some buttons into graphics so that when I stop on the intended keyframe the over/down highlight would remain constant.
But I did't change the default loop setting to single frame - so it was looping through all the states. Ultimately I ended up using movie clips as buttons and using code to keep them in state I want.

Navigation Bar and tab

When I go to a page attached to navigation bar, the existing tab disappears. How to define the page / navigation bar / tab to fix this?

Thanks for your quick response. And you are right (as always), if I define the page as part of tab, it will show the tab. I did not make my question very clear, As part of the navigation bar, I don't want the page to be part of tab; but I want the tab menu to be visible/available so the user can go back to the application anytime. an example will be in Metalink, The "Admin" navigation bar will start an admin page, it's not part of parent tab, but the parent tab is available anytime. Have I made myself clear?

Navigator Bar and Navigation Bar

We have used NavigatorBar as part of our project, which is mainlt JSP files. From the JSP file we want to trap the user button click of the delete button in the navigator bar. The listener override feature is available only for NavigationBar, If use the NavigationBar in our jsp as oracle.dacf.control.swing.NavigationBar the page doesn't compile as it can't find the class inspite of importing it. Can one give a solution to our problem of over riding this delete button?
