Hiding subfolder content in folders - HELP

Hi All,
Does anyone have any idea how subfolder content can be hidden when looking at material in a folder?
I am coming from Bridge workflow and have hundreds of folders that have the RAW files in the root directory, with sub-directories for PSD, JPEG, SRGB JPEG, WEB and whatever else I might need for that job.
Whenever I click on a folder, the window displays ALL the files including the ones in the sub-directoy when all I want to see are the original RAW files.

People have suggested various, like color label the RAWs only one color and filter for them. Other such combos you shuld now be able to figure out.

I need your help Please, I fear I might have lost years worth of work.
I had created 3 personal folders In my Home folder.
I then created a new folder called "active folder" and dragged these 3 folders inside, removing them from the Home folder.
I then dragged my newly created folder "Active Folder" to the Sidebar of the finder.
When I had closed finder and reopened it - the "active Folder" folder was unable to open.
A friend tried to help- dragged "active folder" off the sidebar.. and it disappeared with a cloud effect.
I cant find that folder or its NB contents anywhere,
Please help me with some advice if you can.

When you created that "active folder," where did you create it? And after you added it to the sidebar, what did you do with it? If the data is truly nowhere to be found on your system, even using EasyFind, then I suspect you mistakenly deleted it, thinking that you had copied it to the sidebar. That would explain why you later found that the "active folder" was unable to open from the sidebar. The sidebar is just another way to access the original item, and if you deleted the original item, it can't do its job.
Unfortunately, if this is what you did and you don't have any backups, you may be out of luck. I don't know what you mean by saying you "did the whole data recovery 1's and 0's," but if you haven't already done so, you should try some dedicated data recovery software, to see if those deleted files may still be on the drive. Ultimately, this is not a flaw in the Mac system, it is a flaw in your use of it. I strongly recommend some reading to get up to speed:

How to portlets in to content area folders

hi everybody,
i need to add portlets into the content area folder.
Like, how we add portlets into pages(add portlet link).
is that possible? It is very urgent for me.
becz. i developed application using pages at first.
so that i can create user wise portlets,that means, one page for
all my users. but portlets display will vary according to the
privilegs.now i need the same thing in content area.
pl. help me ASAP!

Portlets can be added to the content area page. You can edit
this page under Content Area Properties. Note that the content
area page does not have all the functionality of a portal page -
for example, it doesn't support tabs and you can't define a
style.
In the next release of Portal, content area folders and pages
will be merged. The merged folder/page can be used for both
portlets and items.

How do I install the CS Production Premium "Content and Installation Help" disk (the 3rd of the 3 disk set although it's not labelled as disk "3")? There's an autorun.inf file but no setup.exe. The generic on-disk installation instructions are useless for this disk since they assume a setup.exe file exists.
The disk contains the following folders: Adobe CS6 Speech Analysis Models, Adobe Encore CS6 Functional Content, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Functional Content, and Fonts.

There is no installer for the files AudiosBro they are additional content which can be added to those applications. For specific inquiries about the contents please post in the applicable forum for that application. You can find a list of available forums at https://forums.adobe.com/welcome.

If the drive is mounting, and it sounds like it is since you are booting up, and the data is worth the effort, try a third party repair utility. There are several. First choice on my list is Disk Warrior. If it is possible you erased the data that is missing then there are utilities that can go back and recover erased data as well.
However, before you do these things you should have a backup drive in hand as a place to recover the data to. No purpose in trying to fix that drive only to have it immediately fail again.

Hi Sri,
it looks that your HANA instance has been created before we enabled the web-based development workbench. Some privileges are missing, we can't migration those existing instances.
Nevertheless you can ignore the error above. You can see all the content inside your instance "smstest1".
If you want to get rid of the cosmetic issue. You might delete this instance and create a new one.

Open a new Finder window, Finder > File > New Finder Window, and it should appear on the left under Devices.
If you don't see it there, or to get it to show up on the Desktop: Finder > Preferences... General tab, check External disks to have it show on the Desktop, Or Sidebar tab, check External disks under DEVICES.

Invalid URL for Web Content Overlay. Help?

I am doing a french tranlation to an existing folio app that someone else created.
There is one page in my folio that is comprised of garbage and a trash can. You touch the garbage and drag it into the trash, and things change, etc.
I have an index.html file and a bunch of other images.
I can't even successfully add the article to my folio, I get this warning: Content Generator Error. Invalid URL for Web Content Overlay.
Can you walk me through how to get this to work?

When you specify the .html file, all the content in that folder is uploaded automatically. Here's an article about Web Content overlays:

If you have all of the songs and videos still in your library I would recommend doing the restore of the iPod.

I even fresh install the system and every time I do repair the permission I always end up with this even though it said repaired.
I figure this is the problem my laptop, sometime it wont save files or documents and it goes in limbo and had to force shutdown and have to restart on the
booth drive to have it permission repair. I just updated to 10.9.3 and will see if this stop the crashing but repair permission notice is still the same.

Upload content in folders

I have set up a Project Site with Libraries and Subsites. Is there a way to upload content in folders?

Just to be sure, your question is how do you upload document to a folder within your document library?
Please correct me if this is not what you want
You will click the folder and click Upload button under File Ribbon action to upload content.
If you are using IE then you will be able to use Explorer View option under Library Ribbon action and then copy and paste your document and/or folders directly in to library.

I've installed Snow Leopard on existing iMac. I backed up on a 1TB external HD but when opening any folder from that HD I receive the error: 'The folder i can’t be opened because you don’t have permission to see its contents'.

Select it and open the Info dialog. In the Sharing & Permissions section, you should have read & write access, and everyone (else) should have read access. If that's not the case, click the lock icon, authenticate, and make the necessary changes. Close the window and try again.

Display subfolder content with ConsumerCollectionRenderer

Hello everyone
Is there a setting that can be modified to have the ConsumerCollectionRenderer display subfolder contents within an iView instead of having to click on the folder name, which refreshes the iView and displays only that subfolder's contents? I have created a collection renderer based off of the ConsumerCollectionRenderer, and it's just what I need because I can modify what properties are displayed and set the rows to alternating colors, etc. However, it would be wonderful if subfolder names were displayed simply as headings with the contents displayed underneath (similar to the LinkListCollectionRenderer), and I can't seem to achieve this within the format of the ConsumerCollectionRenderer. Is this even feasible at all?
