Hiding the '+' sign in cells

Hi, can anyone tell me how to hide the annoying Plus signs that appear in Pages table cells when you put data in them? Apart from making the information impossible to read, I can't see much use for them - what are they actually for?

Yvan, without knowing that the text was too big (it is all visible within the cell), my forum search was restricted to using combinations of the keywords Remove, Hide, Plus sign, +, Cells - with none of the results appearing relevant. Thank you too for your contribution.

How do I get my email address recently changed on my account in iTunes on my MacBook Pro to show up on the sign-on notice on my iPad (4th gen)? It reflects my old email address and therefore won't recognize my password. When I try to do something on the App Store on my iPad, it brings up a notice to sign on, which reflects the old email address, and rejects my password since the username/email address is no longer correct. Puzzled!

I have another question for the community. My daughter tells me that my texts to her show my primary email address as the account name of the sender (me) when I text her, rather than my cell phone number from which I'm texting her. I've had others report that to me too. How do I turn that off so that recipients see my cell phone number displayed as the sending party and not my email address? Thanks -

Of course You can also add your iPhone telephone # as a trusted device.
This way when you insert your SIM card into any phone, Apple will automatically recognize your cell phone # as a
trusted device (may be handy if iphone breaks but you insert SIM card into another phone).
HOWEVER:
Having also your iPhone as a trusted device, is convenient if you travel and use a different SIM card
at destination. This way you can still use the iphone for verification, even though you are using a different
phone #.

Apostrophe sign on cell of a report

HI,
This is something I never noticed until a user pointed it out to me.
For any cell on a BEX report output, the formula bar of excel shows an ' and then the contents of the cell.
For example on the report, costcenter would be 1000. The formula bar shows '1000.
This I assume is to make sure the format of data is the same. But when the user sorts on this coloumn, the order of sort is not the same as the cells without the ' sign.
Can someone throw more light on this?

The problem is this
Say I have a coloumn on the report which shows Material Number. This is a combination of text and numbers, like A003M1, A004M3 etc
If I am sorting the coloumn in say 'ascending' format, the output of the BW sort is different from the sort that results in excel (out side of BW world). In case of the latter, there wont be an ' in the formula cell.

If you're asking why there is no dial tone when you turn on the phone, there is none - on any cell phone.

TableModelEvent is always the same - one cell or entire table changed

Why does JUTableModel fire always the same event, if you change a single cell, or entire table structure changes.
Event always looks like this:
first row: 0
last row: 2147483647
type: 0
column: -1
source class: oracle.jbo.uicli.jui.JUTableBinding$JUTableModel
I need to distinguish between a single cell change and entire table structure change.

Unfortunately I get a 0, when I try to reproduce your solution. Of course, I am using the German version, but it should be the right formula.
When I leave out the $-signs in the search array I get a 0. See second picture.
Am I doing it wrong?

Hi guys,
we created a custom WIM Image (Windows 8 Enterprise) with MDT 2012.
Sysprept the Image, Deployed via SCCM 2012 SP1.
Computers are Domainjoined. Error with standard Domain User.
On some computers (not every computer) and not with every user on the first logon following error message arises:
The Group Policy Client service failed the sign-in The universal unique identifier (UUID) type is not supported
It works, when you log in a second time but this error isn't very nice.
Is there a solution for that?

The service is responsible for applying settings configured by administrators for the computer and users through the Group Policy component. This issue can be caused by various reasons based on the computer environment.
Can you find any information in event log about this issue?

Solved the problem. I had to allow cookies for safari and it run - as here: Re: itunes keeps asking for my apple id password. it's NOT entered incorrectly.

When I click on the + sign, I do not get another tab even though an additional tab WILL open if, for example, I click on a link in an e-mail or on a site.

Before the latest upgrade, I could open a new tab by clicking on the + to the right of any open tabs. No more. Nothing happens. If I click on a link in an e-mail or on a website, however, a new tab will open. For example, if I get an e-mail from Facebook that says someone has posted and I click the link, I will get a new tab opened and Facebook will be there. Then I have both tabs open and can navigate on either with no problem. If I then click on the + sign, nothing at all happens. I am perfectly able to open Safari with Firefox running, and I can get multiple tabs going there with no effect on Firefox. That is, I can go back and forth.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Did you have the opportunity to update 12 to 12.1 Update yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so when you get the opportunity.

Get the redeem code from the KLove page:

...and enter it into the Redeem Code box in the iTunes Store.
You will have to sign in to your iTunes account.

I did what they said but it still had me sign in and took me to the Virfying. Still does not work

The apple Id on my iPad was signed out. We don't remember the password. The sign in box just keeps popping up over and over even if you hit cancel. Now we can't use the iPad at all. Can anyone help?

If you can't remember its password then you should be able to get it reset (either via email or by answering its security questions) via http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't get it reset via that page then contact Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset it : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
