Hierarchy Activation Failure

Hi All,
I have included a hierarchy activation step in a process chain immediately after loading a hierarchy. However, the hierarchy activation is failing with the following error message:
**Hierarchy that was loaded with request l_rnr cannot be activated
Can anyone advise what's wrong? Thanks.
Regards,
KM

Hi Koon,
Check table /BI0/HEVENTGROUP there has to be a record for 022540.
Selection of HIEID you get with TA RSH1 -> right click on requested hierarchy -> details -> internal hierarchy id
or by displaying the hierarchy -> header data.
Are there many values for this hierarchy with 5 or 6 digits?? If so, maybe you can ad missing digits while uploading from source system. If its only one you can repair the hierarchy manually by creating the correct node in RSD1 and change node 022540 with node 00022540 in the hierarchy.

  • Activation Failure

We've been trying to get our Verizon DSL set up for days now, but activation never goes through. It always fails out with the message "WARNING: Your account has not been activated. You will not be able to use your broadband connection until this problem is resolved. Please call Verizon Support."  Verizon support has been absolutely awful so far.  I've spoken to 4 different agents so far, the only advice I get is "reboot your router."  On top of that, I have to explain the situation all over again to each rep, and usually multiple times to each rep before they finally understand what I'm saying. Every single agent I've talked to so far has insisted on running line tests, usually multiple times, only to tell me everything looks great.  One rep told me, and I quote, "If your service is activated, why don't you just stop going to the activation page?"  Really?! If Verizon would stop routing me to the registration page over and over again, I woudn't need assistance. Sometimes, after a reboot of the router, I'll get a page that says "Due to an account related issue, your Verizon service has been suspended. Please click continue below to begin the process to restore your services."  This of course links back to the activation page, which always greets me with "Your account has been activated"... but still requires me to sign in to "complete a few more steps."  I am so beyond frustrated.  The last agent I spoke with actually refused to send an agent out because "it's a problem on our end."  Is anyone else having activation failures?  I couldn't seem to find this anywhere else, but I have absolutely no faith in Verizon tech support to fix it.  We supposedly have a second modem on the way from Verizon and an open ticket for the issue, but judging from the previous topics in this forum, that apparently doesn't mean much for Verizon tech support.  If this keeps up much longer, we'll have no choice but to cancel the service.  No use paying for something that doesn't even work.
So far, I've tried rebooting the router at least 10 times.  Did 3 resets of the router by holding in the reset button.  Tried signing into the activation page with order number, by name / zip, by phone / zip, cleared browser cache, used Chrome and IE, power cycled PC, nothing.  The router is connected fine, all lights are green and good.  Another problem I noticed is I'm unable to log into the router settings through a web browser.  Default username / password for the D-Link 2750B router I have are supposed to be "admin" and "password", even listed on Verizon's site, but they don't work.  Even after my service is up, not sure how I'm going to configure my WiFi without logging into router settings.

OK, good news and bad news.
Bad News: You will have to figure out why you can't get into your modem/router. If you call tech support and specify that you only want help getting into your modem, they may be able to help.
Good News: This sounds like it might be an issue with the redirect setting. Once you can get into your modem (see bad news above), go to 192.168.1.1/verizon/redirect.htm - You are looking for a disable button. Click on it, and your issue *should* be resolved.

  • Hierarchy Activation dumps when itu0092s executed from Process Chain. u0096 BI 7.0

    Issue:
CostElement Hierarchy sign reversal is updated manually using ABAP Program to update sign reversal, which updates H and J tables and activates the Hierarchy using func module RSHIER_HIER_CHECK_AND_ACTIVATE. However, the same Process Chain in BI 7.0 it abends during Hierarchy Activation.

    Vijay,
Due to the age of this post I am assuming did you find a fix to the problem?
I actually would like more information about your abap program as we are trying to create a similar program.

Activated Iphone 4 on verizonwireless.com using MED. Iphone is now not letting my activate through itunes or wireless connection. Saying Activation Failure. Any ideas? Trying to avoid driving 2 hours to apple store.

I was just at the Apple store, exchanging my 4s, when the iTunes server went down.. they told me just to keep trying. It's not just us, I promise. Hope that eases your mind a bit.

  • How do I fix activation failure for Creative Suite 5.5 when transferring from XP computer to Windows 8.1?.

How do I fix an activation failure for Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard? I uninstalled this from my old XP computer and re-installed it on Windows 8.1 two weeks ago. I am in NZ and got error message #129.17. I used the recommended fix of changing the time zone when I did the transfer and this seemed to work, but today when I tried to use Acrobat Pro I got the activation failure message with the same error code again. This time the fix doesn't seem to work. Is there anything else I can try?

After I updated my Ipad2 to 8.0.2, I have not been able to use my cellular date. It keeps "searching" for connection and then pops up "Data Plan Activation Failure". What do I do?

I turned gmail off and turned on iCloud email.  It won't load either.

  • No msg from process chain on ODS activ failure

    All,
We are loading and activating a CRM ODS (0CRM_PROH) in a process chain.  The process chain is set up to deliver a message if the ODS activation fails, but this is not happening reliably.
For instance, yesterday a hex character came over from the source system causing ODS activation failure.  Strangely enough, the overall status of the request in the monitor was green.  Also, the activation step in the RSPC planning view was blue, not red as I would expect.  You could really only see the failure by switching to log view in RSPC, where it was clear the ODS activation had failed.
Any thoughts on why the overall status of the request is green instead of red or yellow when the ODS activation fails?  Or, any thoughts on why no message is going out?  It's probably obvious that I'm new at interpreting the RSPC screens, so any general references on this topic would be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Bob
P.S.  The ODS in question is set for automatic activation and automatic updating of data targets.  We are running BW 3.10.21, BI_CONT 3.30.16.

    Hello Diane
We also had this issue, but with an older version (30B patch 7, works OK w/ patch 14).
    Anyway, to fix it:
    - create a new variant (let's call it V1 as an example) for the SAP program RSODSACT1
    - in your process chain, insert an ABAP call after the ODS load. Punch it RSODSACT1 as program and V1 for the variant
    It worked for us
    Good luck

  • Remote DVR Activation Failure, but I have a Verizon Router!

One of my BIGGEST complaints about ALL the remote features and CID. The router MUST have the correct port forwarding rules in the router, so the web site can find the DVR, or STBs for CID. They never get set right, always get messed up with even the simplest changes to the Verizon router. I gave up on all of it and started using my router that I like better. Even with all the correct port forwarding rules in the router, the features are hit or miss in my opinion. These rules are read only and can only be fixed by Verizon.
Contact tech support and insist that it be fixed while you are on the phone. It can be fixed, and do not take the it will need to be escalated, as an answer. Once I was told it would need to be escalated and could take a couple days. Look at your router, and if it is a REV A. Have it replaced because they are nothing but trouble. If you log into the router you should see forwarding rules for each STB or DVR.

As long as you don't have any 'real' issue you can ignore this error message.
If this is not the case, then try to proceed this way:
    1. delete the buildspaces dev and cons (you can do it in the Buildspace view of the CBS webui)
    2. resave the track ,this will recreate the buildspaces. (you do it in the landscape configurator of CMS -- track data tab)
    3. Restore system state (you find a button for it on the development and consolidation tabs in the transport studio of CMS webui)
    4. reimport the software into development and consolidation (transport studio -- development/consolidation tab).
Until the buildspaces are deleted, your developers won't be able to activate and build. Do not forget to reimport the software back to the buildspaces dev and cons before your developers are continuing their work. Your sources won't get lost as they are stored in DTR.

  • Verizon activation failure DON"T LET THEM TELL YOU TO RESET THE ENTIRE IPAD

Bought my iPad2 in the Verizon store Friday and had some trouble getting it activated. It looked like it probably activated but I had a lot of failures getting there where it kept telling me information was invalid. But the data network wasn't working some hours later.
I called Verizon and they said the account had not been set up properly, closed the old account, and walked me through setting up new account through the iPad. About 5 hours later I got a popup on the iPad that said there was a problem with the data service and it had been deactivated. When I tried to log into the the account from the iPad's cellular data screen in settings, I got a message that said the account information on your iPad is no longer valid.
Upon further investigatio, the iPad still had the first number I had been given, not the new cellular number associated with my data plan.
Called Verizon and their tech support person told me that the only solution to clear the old number out and get the cellular data service to work was to reset the entire iPad (erase everything), set up a new account, and re-sync the device to get all my data back on. Having had a lot of trouble getting data transferred from my iPad 1st gen to this one I was very reluctant to do that.
So I tried a few things myself. First I settings : general : reset : reset network settings. No help.
Then I tried settings : general : reset : subscriber services : reprovision account. Bingo. When I went back to the cellular data screen and logged in, it synced up with my new account and the cellular data service worked.
Verizon insisted very firmly that there was no option to reset just the data plan information when clearly that is built right in to the settings, and that resetting the entire device (erasing everything) was required.
    DON'T DO IT!!

    This helped me.  Worked perfectly.

  • Error in Hierarchy activation

    Hello Experts
I re loaded hierachy for 0material, infopackage failed with error "Error arose when activating the hierarchy; Hierarchy not active
I tried activating using FM RRHI_HIERARCHY_ACTIVATE got error "There is no modified version for this hierarchy"
I am able to see M and A versions of hierachy in hierarchy maintenance.
but when i mannually try to activate hierarchy i get short dump with message
    Short text
Message type " " is unknown.
    What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "CL_RSSH_MESSAGE_HANDLER=======CP" had to be
         terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    Please help.

    Hi sudep,
did u done the attribute change run for hierarchy after loading the hierarchy?.....
    try the below steps
    1) Load Hierarchy
    2) Save Hierarchy
    3) Attribute CHange Run on the InfoObject.
Run these in the same sequence and see if it solves the problem.
Make sure that you have this Checkbox on:
    1) In Infopackage, in tab Hierarchy Selection, there is a small checkbox for 'Flag for Activation'. Make sure its ON.
    2) In Save Hierarchy Process Type, the same check box should be ON.

  • SAP BW Hierarchy Load Failure

    Hi All,
I am getting  Hierarchy failure when I load new Hierarchy set. The new hierarchy contain old and record hierarch. However during the load it does load all the hierarch record. this same Hierarchy have been loaded in Dev and its work ok.
Do anyone come accross this issue and how do they go about it. Point awarded
    Regards K

    Hi Jonnie,
Have created the Hierarchy structure in the Transfer Structure?.
if you are loading from flat flat file and its failing then there is sone problem in the structure of the flat file.
loading the Hierarchy from Flat file, have a look at the flat file .
below link can help you :

  • 0ORGUNIT Hierarchy load failure

    Hi Friends,
I have loaded 0ORGUNIT hierarchy through proicess chain. load is getting failed with the below error message
    Node ID 00000613 , char.value 40000136 , exists several times under node ID 00000153
    Node ID 00002561 , char.value 40000136 , exists several times under node ID 00001212
    Node ID 00002281 , char.value 40000136 , exists several times under node ID 00001064
    Node ID 00001897 , char.value 40000136 , exists several times under node ID 00000890
hierarchy table contains all the records in M version.
This error is occuring for past 4 days with same node values.
I have not tried activating manually. this is not visible in RSA1 Manual hier/attribute change run option.
    I am using BW3.5.
Please give me some inputs if you have faced similar issue.
    Regards,
    Ramesh

    Hello,
If your hierarchy is time dependent then check if for org unit 40000136 u getting right time frames and there is no overlap.
Also check if you have created right hierarchy type in the infopackage.
    Regards.

  • Hierarchy Activation failed

In Process chain for hierarchy we have a save process, which activates the hierarchy.
This process failed with 0CUST_SALES table locked, so couldnt activate the respective hierarchy.
When from RSA1 activated the hierarchy manually showing modified on list, it gets done.
Can any one help on whyit fails while activating automatically through chain

    Hi,
The reason may be the object 0CUST_SALES related to that save hierarchy process got locked at that time it is running in process chain.and the lock was released at the time u manually executed it that's why it allowed you to actiavte it manually.
Before repeating that process you can check in SM12 whether lock has been released or not and then u can proceed by giving repeat on that particular event in process chain.
Hope u understand.please assign required things if it is helpful.

  • ODS ACTIVATION Failure frequently......

    Hi,
We r loading data from ods to cube , but ODS activation process for 3 ods is happening parallely.
This ods activation failed sequence two times , but in logs error mesgs
are "Activation of data records from ods object terminated,Qm status is in not green before ODS activation"…
we are loading approx 10,000 records
    The chain is like this…
              START
    ODS1          ODS2          ODS3   à these 3 ODS are Parallel
    |          |          |
    CUBE1     CUBE2     CUBE3
Can anyone tell me what might be the reason…for failuring frequently.. this is a monthly chain
    -Shah

    Shah,
    1) I said "conflicting" because I thought you were loading all data to ONE ODS.. so I thought they might have some "locking" problem..But since u had confirmed me that 3 different ODSs.. this is out of scope for us..I am taking back my words..
I do not see "technically" issue with Process chain design as all are 3 different tables now..
It has a techincal issue, if you are loading 3 ODS parallely and Activating all 3 ODSs at a time..
in the above scenario.. say ODS1 completed 1st and it tries to start the Activation node..( which tries to activate ODS2 and 3 also..) but still 2 and 3 are loading.. can lead to the mentioned error..
generally.. if u schedule too many parallel jobs at a time it will occupy all available system resources and can lead to some ewrrors..
    regards,
    hari
