Hierarchy Data not saved after Hierarchy Load

Hi Gurus,
I am facing a problem with the hierarchy data load in SAP BPC NW 7.5 SP06. I have already used /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER & /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER once to load the data from BI to BPC and it worked fine that time.
Now I have made some changes in the Hierarchy at the BI side. When I run the package link list, the /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER chain runs fine and the master data, description for Attribute and Hierarchies are loaded perfectly. But whn the /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER is run, the changes are not saved in the BPC Member sheet. I have manually make the changes in the member sheet and Process the Dimension.
Can we process the Dimension explicitly after the Hierarchy load again?
Does anyone have an idea about this?
Any help is appreciated.

Double check whether /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_MASTER is bringing all the ID's,Texts and Hierarchy Nodes. If required drop the data from dimesion member sheet and load it again.
Double check the Hierarchy and level setup while running /CPMB/IMPORT_IOBJ_HIER.
(when we are in SP05, it was not bringing the multiple Hierarchies, now we are in SP07 loading multiple hierarchies but not the TEXT fo the Id's some inconsistency)

Hello BPS Experts,
I am trying to load some data using manual planning. I open the layout and enter the values and press save. I do not find any requests / data in the cube.
case 1) No error / warning
I do not get any error during the save function in the layout. What could be the possible step I am missing. What could be the root cause..
case 2) message - No data to be saved
sometimes i get a message 'No data to be saved'. And that data is not getting saved. What could be the reason of this message.

Hello BWer,
One of the main reasons for data not saving from a layout into a Trx cube, is if there is no key figure being updated. The value of the key figure being posted should <> 0.
If you choose the option to display transaction data in your layout, then, only data with key figure values <> 0 will be displayed.

Mapping of CRM Territory Hierarchy data and BI Territory Hierarchy data

Hello friends,
I Want to know the easy way to compare the CRM Territory Hierarchy data and BI Territory Hierarchy data . Previously We had an issue with Territory Hierarchy data and applied note on CRM side and it resolved. Now we want to see whether the Territory Hierarchy data is sync in between BI and CRM.
Please let me know if you have an idea what is the solution if both systems are out of SYNC.

Data not Pulling after adding a 2nd Hierarchy in Account Dimension

Hi all. We had 2 hierarchies in our account dimension. We were having some performance issues, so I wanted to test reporting performance by deleting the 2nd hierarchy. I deleted the second one and now I am ready to add it back again, but I am having the toughest time. After I added the 2nd hierarchy no data is pulling through any report and I am getting evdre errors. I checked sql db and the data is there. And then if I take out the 2nd hierarchy the reports work fine. I added multiple hierarchies to dimensions before , so I am quite baffled on why this is happening.
Here's what I did. Deleted column PARENTH2 and FORMULAH2. Process. Then did some testing. And now Added columns Parenth2 and formulah2. Process.
Am I missing something here? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
We have SQL 2008 Enterprise sp2 CU3. BPC 7.5 MS SP3 patch5.

Thanks for your response. Yes I did process the dimension, modify dimension property and modify-->Process Application. And the second hierarchy was visible when I logged back into the application.
John, yes the second hierarchy was visible in SSAS.
This was why it was baffling to me!
So after a whole day of trying to figure this out, I sort of gave up and started working on something else. And because it was our test environment, it didnt have any effect on the users. One day later I logged back in and it was working! I took out the second hierarchy again and added it back. Processed, modified etc. I got the same result. I couldnt pull any data from the second hierarchy. I logged out, logged back in the day after and it started working. So, basically it seemed like the system needed some time (12-16 hours in this case) to adjust? I really don't know how/why this happened, maybe someone have an explanation for this?

Created "Hierarchy Field" not saved in Import Mapping File

Hello experts,
I want to save the mapping created after having imported categories via MDM Import Manager.
Everything works fine as I execute an initial import (In "Map Field" tab, I create a "hierarchy field" based on the three fields "Categorie Name, Categorie Name 2, Category Parent" and mapp the Split Hierarchy field consequently ).
My problem is as I save the Mapping and try to reuse it for a new Categories import, the former "hierarchy field" does not appear anymore. I assume Saving Mapping does not save created hierarchy fields...
Can anyone help me on this?

From XML, with fields "Category Name, Category Parent".
Then in MDM Map Tab, I clone the Field "Category Name" and create the Hierarchy Field with name "Categories", parent field "Category Parent", Child Field "Category Name", and Node name field "Category Name Clone".
Then I map the Split Hierarchy field with the destination field "Category Name [DF]", and the source field "Category Name" with the Remote Key.
The matching field in Match Record Tab is "Category Name [DF]".
I save then the mapping file but am not able to reuse it : as I said, the Hierarchy field disappears !

Page shows different data when saved after few minutes

Hi,
I have a peculiar problem to describe.
I have a page which contains af:table inside af:panelCollection layout. I use a af:commandLink to drilldown to another page using setCurrentRowWithKey method.
I am able to drill down to the correct data in another page which contains data that is editable. Once after editing the page when i click save button, i am able to save the data. This is working fine.
But the problem is, once i drilled down to this edit page and edit some fields and save it after few minutes, say 5 minutes later, it is not saved. Also, the page is refreshed to bring some random record.
Can anyone let me know why is this happening and how to resolve it?

Is it possible that the data has changed (e.g. by an other user) after you drilled to the one record you want to change?There is a possibility that the data can be changed by other user as well. But, for the time being we have implemented for the single user environment.
When you click save after some time, do you get any error (on the screen or in the logs)?Yes. On the screen, it is displayed as "oracle.jbo.JboException: Document type mismatch (source INVOICE, type Sales)". It is a validation exception thrown at viewRowImpl level by me. But it validates the data perfectly when saved immediately after editing
Which session timeout do you have configured in your web.xml?Session-timeout is given as 240
Have you tried your use case with the HR schema?Yes. when i reproduce the situation in HR schema, it is getting saved perfectly

Response data not saved in PDF

Dear All,
I created an interactive form with a web service. I filled in the form and sent all the datas in SAP through the web service.
All worked properly except that I have a return message from SAP. This message is binded in my form as response field.
I saw my message in the form when the WS is finished but I saved the PDF on my PC.
When I look at my PDF later, the return message is disappeared, it is not saved in my PDF as all the other fields.

Can someone help me ?
All the other data are saved in the document. But I think that it is because the return message is not keyed but is only a answer in the web service, the PDF can't save it ?
If I change the field (add some character after the return value from SAP) and I save, the value is kept.
Could someone tell me how to do ?
My button is an Execute one with the data connection on my web service.
If I re-merge data, all the fields become empty except the response return message. Even in this case, the message is not saved in the PDF.

Data not saving in flowable form

Hi,
I have created a form where there are flowable and positioned parts. In the attachment section, data entered into Attachment A (flowable) seems to save, but after saving, closing and re-opening, the data has not saved. The data entered into Attachment B and the rest of the form does save.

Delivery dates not affected after route determination

The dates found on the shipping tab in delivery header are not affected after a route determination.
In sales order, if route is changed, the dates are affected.
In delivery, the route is re-determined at delivery creation, but if route transit time is different the delivery dates are not affected. It retains the sales order dates.
Need system to change dates according to new route.
Where is this set?

Transit Time and Transportation Lead time comes from Route while Pick/Pack time and Loading time comes from Shipping point.
May be in your case, while re-determination of route, just check if the time is enough to affect the date i.e. more than 24 hrs or so

Syntax
ASSIGN mem_area TO <fs> casting_spec range_spec.
Effect
This statement assigns the memory area specified using mem_area to the field symbol <fs>. You can assign a data object or a memory area calculated from the address of a data object. After the assignment, the field symbol refers to the assigned memory area and can be used in operand positions. When used in a statement, it behaves like a dereferenced data reference, meaning that the statement works with the content of the memory area.
The data type with which the assgigned memory area is treated, depends on the specifications in casting_spec. You can either execute an explicit casting or the field symbol takes on the data type of the data object specified in the assignment. A field symbol to which a memory area is assigned, has this data type after the assignment and behaves like a data object of this type.
The assigned memory area mem_area must be at least as long as the data type specified in casting_spec and must have the same alignment. If the data type determined in casting_spec is deep, the deep components with their type and position must appear in the assigned memory area exactly like this.
Use the specifications in range_spec to restrict the memory area that can be assigned to the field symbol.
You have to assign it back to internal table to modify the content.
Check in debug mode if you have still doubt.

File- XI- IDoc: Idoc header data not saved correctly

Hi guys!
I have a very strange problem:
I have a file to xi to IDoc scenario. Everything seems to be fine, IDoc is created in target system, but with strange error: <MESCOD>XX</MESCOD> segment is not written in IDoc header segment. This segment is available in message sent to ECC (after mapping), so there is no problem with ommiting the segment in mapping. But it's not saved.
This scenario worx fine in QA, but not in PRO.
Any ideas, what to look at?

check the IDoc which was in PROD. and see the ibound status and actual reason .
depending upon the actual status you can resolve the issue.

i'v a prob. that once i create quation through va21 then it create and saved data.
now when i create sales order through va01 then it show data saved and gave the sales order no.
but when i 'm going to change it then message comes order not in data base.
when i saw the data in table like vbak/ vbap then i found no data.
what is the prob.

May be the data is not saved at all. Use TCODE SM12 and SM13 to check if there are entries for the corresponding table under processing

Data not saving in Custom Infotype

Dear Experts,
I have created a custom infotype, 9003, for this I creates a structure ps9003.
And I have to create a primary key field in my infotype, so I added a field in PA9003 as key field.
Now this key field was not coming in the infotype screen, so I added it using screen painter.
But now when I save the data the data is not saved in this key filed.
Please Suggest.

As of my knowledge the primary key for the PA infotypes will be MANDT+PAKEY structure. What is the need of adding the primary key.
- While creating the custom infotype using PM01 screen will be automatically generated for the fields declared in PS structure
- Screen Generation will wipe out the custom written on the fields so this is to be carefully handled.
- if you added the field check logic in PAI & PBO
- Check are you passing the data back to the infotye structure

If you used Mac's automatic Software Update... to get to 10.5.1, try this:
• Repair permissions.
• Download and install the Mac OS X 10.5.1 Update.
• Repair permissions again after the restart that completes the install.
• Test to see if problem is still there.
If problem exists, try suggestions relevant to your system from Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight.
