Hierarchyt - trasport Error

Hi,
When transporting user defined hierarchy info source to producion Tranfer rules are not getting activated which is required to load hierarchy to create.
But I am able transport same to QA system sucessfully without any problem.
Error: "Tranfer structure is not active" tried all options.
Below is transport fail message.
"Mapping between data source ZLOCALID_HIER and source system A_LOCAL_PC is inconsistent
InfoObj. 0STARTLEVEL from fld STARTLEVEL of dataSource ZLOCALID_HIER is not active but BCT ex. -> Dtl"
I did not find info object 0STARTLEVEL any where in the system.
Please help me to solve this problem to move this to Production system.Very Urgent ..Thanks in advance.

It does not exist in the requested version A. If the version is 'D' then it is possible that an error arose during the delivery or installation. If the version is 'A' then the Object was either not created or not activated.
System Response
The object was not taken into account in the next stage of processing.

Hi,
Just check if the data mart object is present in the target system or not.
Or if the object itself is active or present in the target system or not??
go to infosurces option and search for it begining with 8* followed by the object name.
If not then generate the object again.
but you can create the infopackage in the target system directly.

Extract structure not existing/not active

Hello BWers,
I have transported my Data Mart settings to the new BW prod environment (not yet in production). However I get an error message when importing saying:
"The extract structure /BIC/CE8Z0PCA_C01 of the DataSource 8Z0PCA_C01 is invalid
Message no. R8444
Diagnosis
An invalid extract structure has been assigned to the DataSource. An extract structure has to be active in the DDIC. It cannot be a view, since the customer is not able to add append fields for filling in the customer exits to a view."
I have checed and the structure doesn't exist. It automatically seems to have been added to dev package $TMP (local objects) and was therefor excluded from transport...
Now, what I wonder, is how do I get this missing structure into my production system? I have the data sources, but the actual structure is missing...

seems you post the same questions twice,
as mentioned in your other thread, try 'generate export datasource' in your new production system.

Routine error in Trasport selection

Hi All,
I have a question with regard to transports. I am transporting info objects where i am getting this error wrt to a transport request which has 170 info objects.
The error message has two errors.
(1) <b>" Object '45EX1L0TIWA4LUWZHUIKRNOCF' (ROUT) of type 'Routine' is not available in version 'A "</b>.
(2). <b>" Object '45EX3Q1RNVZ0DVY20BZPLCSU7' (ROUT) of type 'Routine' is not available in version 'A "</b>.
Can anyone please tell me how to find out that particular routine, so that i can go and look into that and do the necessary.
I moved out that particular info object from the selected list thinking it might solve my problem, but the very next object is giving the same error message. So far i have removed 6 objects in succession and the same error message is repeating for every info object. The strange thing which i have observed is that the Routine object num is not changing and the same error messages are popping.
I checked the "routine" option in transport connection and Business content as well.It says that Input help for Routines in not yet available.
Please reply asap as i am in middle of a critical requirement.

It seems that some of your routines are not active. Not very sure but you may try this option. find the inactive routine in table RSTRAN with the object string given in your post.
identify the routine/object and activate.

To solve this issue, You can create an MDM BS for QAS Transport Group (something like MDM_BS_QAS and setup this BS in the same way of your MDM_BS_DEV), and add it to trasport target tab for MDM_BS_DEV.
Use it only for "logical" purpose.
Business System is only a logical senders or receivers that exchange messages by using the Integration Server.

Error while importing Configuration Object

Hello guys,
I get this error while I try to import the Configuration Scenario objects from DEV to QAS.
Obligatory transport target for business system MDD_BS not found in System Landscape Directory
The particular scenario was done by creating a business service MDD_BS for the MDM in SLD. There is no QAS server for MDM and we are using the same MDM server for both DEV as well as QAS. I created two groups in SLD, Group one for Business systems pointing to DEV and Group two for Business systems pointing to QAS. In SLD, Group two, there is no matching Business system for MDD_BS in QAS.
I tried to edit Group two and add the same business system for QAS as well. But I am unable to do so.
How do I solve this error?

but i checked in development i not got any error but when i am trasport iam getting error.

I am trying to transport a DSO, Data source, Transf, DTP in the same request but i am getting error code 8.
Here is the error log.

Source system is BI source system and data source is based on a function module which have logic to get data from other DSO's and IO's with BI system.
Why its giving me an error saying Infosource no available in SS when i am transporting.
Did anyone came across similar issue? Any suggestions?

1)Check this infosource ZBIU_OTCSO_TR_VMI_ORDDEL flow in Dev system, where it is been used.. and also check the code in the FM.
2) IF you are trasnporting entirely a new data flow then goto transport connection and check.
3)If you are trasporting the existing flow(may not be entire flow, but like Datasource enhacment ..) cross check with PRD system for the earlier version and chek what are the changes which you are tying to do now.
2)check your Trasport request once again(collected objects)..Activate the FM, DS and then transport.

Its a new data flow from DEV to QA and i checked for that infosource in transport connection and there are no hits for that infosource. I found it only in the case of Datasource.
I doubt on the conversion of SS names. Can anyone tell me how I can validate the conversion of Source Systems.
Any suggetions?

I have done minor enhancement on one Master Data Data Source. The transports went fine in R/3 side. But in BW system it is giving an error message

Hi Venkat,
The problem is during Replicate if the datasource in the target system or during trasport of the InfoSource related.
In this second situation try to transport the Transfer Roules of the InfoSource with all related under/bottom objects, the system will include the Replicate of the DataSource.
Check also if the mapping of the sender and receiver system is correct: Tools --> Mapping of the sorce system...

Error comming while transportation of BW realted request

Currently i am working on SCM 5.0 Server
      I have created all the data flow process i.e Data Source,Info Package,Info Source,Info Area,Info Cube,Transformation & data Transfer Process for DP Planning Area for taking backup of data in Client 221 i.e DC1.
While creating the all above configuration sysytem asked for Request,so we created request which we want to transport in Client 421 i.e quality server QC1.
   Then we have transported all above request to QC1 421.But when i am looking for all the data flow process in QC1.System having only Data Source,Info Source,Info cube & transformation.But there is no Info Pakage & DTP.When i double click the Data Source System shows Error "Source system DC1CLNT221 does not exist".Only Info Cube & info Source are in active mode & other are in Inactive mode.
So we again created Request manually & agian tried to transport but system showing following Error

You are to maintain the conversion of source system name after transport in QC1 421 before transport your request.
Ts RSLGMP or in customising under BIW/Trasport Settings/Change source system name after transport.

I have collected all neccessary object which query contains, but after releasing the request it shows the message,
The request contains message that have already been edited & transported to other projects. To avoid overshooter problem when importing you need to create dependency information for the request with which object were last transported. The requiered information is listed here together with the existing information.
Should i go ahed with above message???? Is there any dependency?

Error while Creating Charm Project

I am configuring CHARM Sol 7.1 SP11.
TMS landscape is as follows
DEV100-->QAS200-->PRD300 (QAS & PRD as Virtual systems). we have created virtual systems and flagged as a virtual system in smsy.
I have created the project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN and assigned the logical components.
While performing the CHECK under Change Management tab in Check TMS domains "RFC destination Cannot be determined"
Any pointers on how to resolve this?

Before you start with activating CHARM it is important that you create a transport link from the Solution Manager to the ABAP managed system domain controller. Once this is done, your Solution Manager is able to retrieve the TMS information from the transport domain controller.
To create a trasport link, open transaction STMS on the Solution Manager and link with the ABAP target system via a trusted RFC.
You will then not receive the error messages in TMS anymore.

BOBJ - BW "Error getting hierarchies for dimension... "

Im still whitout a solution for this problem, however we have found a difference between the queries that work and the queries that dont work. The difference is in the hierarchies type but we dont know what is the problem exactly.
Does anyone know if there is an specyfic type of hierarchie that we need to use???

I wonder why you are not using the BEx / BICS connection ? (instead of the old OLAP .unv)
the process flow for generating a universe would include the following SE37 function modules:
BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_CATALOGS
BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_CUBES
BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_DIMENSIONS
BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_HIERARCHYS
You should test these in BW .
It may actually be an authorization issue - perhaps your logon doesn't have infoobject authorizations for 0Plant?

p.s. a quick Note search suggests : 1565615 - Error when creating a Universe from BEx: "A runtime exception has occurred. (Error getting levels for hierarchy ( dimension : Unknown error)"
--> "Business Objects Personalization objects" R21K900693 transport has not been loaded properly in the BW system, transaction STMS shows this trasport not loaded.
