High numbers for "re", "mf" and "pi" on Solaris 10 hosting 10.2.0.4 Oracle

I'm an Oracle DBA, not an SA so be gentle.
We have a large 14TB Oracle database on a 16 CPU Solaris 10 box with 48GB of physical RAM. It seems that whenever the database is doing anything, we immediately get numbers in the "b" column under kthr for vmstat. I understand this to mean that processes are being blocked while waiting for some sort of resource - I'm dying to know what this resource is. Nobody's been able to nail it down. It seems that the numbers for blocked processes, reclaims, minor faults and pageins also seem to go up as load goes up on the server. However, even when there is little load we still see non-zero vaules for blocked processes - and the box would be 73% idle.
We are on a UFS filesystem and the database is set up to use async IO - not direct IO. I know that we have a 1GB filesystem cache. I can also see that when I do a "vmstat -p" that the fpi numbers closely match the "pi" numbers from vmstat. So, it looks like maybe the filesystem is responsible for most of the pageins.
I'd like to know if the high numbers we're seeing are normal for Solaris 10. If I remember, on early versions this did not seem to be the case. I'd also like to know if anyone has seen this before - and can point me in the right direction in terms of confirming, absolutely, what is blocking processes.

Please download Acrobat X Pro from the link below.

Install the software and when prompted for the previous version qualifying product, select Acrobat 9 and enter the serial key of Acrobat 9.
This should install and activate Acrobat X Pro on the machine.

You only need to purchase Numbers once for each OS. Have you tried connecting your iPhone to your Mac via iTunes & adding Numbers there?

How do i use numbers for image gallery and arrows?

Hello there,
I'm hoping someone can advise me on the best possible way.
I would like to use numbers to help the user navigate through the image gallery i'm creating and arrows on either side of an image (one image viewed at any one time). I have attached an image of what i'm trying to acheive. I feel like the arrows will help aid the user to navigate and the numbers will inform them on the number of images to view.
I have so far created the site with a template (logo and nav bar) and child pages for: home/about/work/contact.

I have 2 physical server with local disks only. I want to setup below on same with high availability, please advise best prossible options. We will be using windows 2012 R2 Server..
1. Domain controller
2. Exchange 2013
As of now I am thinking of setting up below:
1. Install Hyper-v on both and create 3 VM on each as
-On Host A- 1 VM for DC, 1 VM for File server with DFS namespace and replication for file server HA and 1 VM for Exchange 2013 with CAS/MBX with DAG and DNS RR for Exchange HA
-On Host B - 1 VM for ADC, 1 VM for File server DFS member for above and 1 VM for Exchange 2013 CAS/MBX with DAG member
I have read on internet about new features called scale out file server (SoFS) in Windows 2012 Server but not sure that will be preferred for file sharing.
Any advise will be highly appreciated..

DFS is by far the best way to implement any sort of file server. Because a) failover is not fully transparent and does not happen always (say not on copy ) b) DFS cannot replicate open files so if you edit a big file and have node rebooted you're going to
lose ALL transactions/updates you've applied c) actually slows down the config. See:

SoFS a) requires shared storage to run and you don't have one b) does not support generic workloads
(only Hyper-V and SQL Server) and c) technically makes sense to expand SAS JBOD or existing FC SAN to numerous Hyper-V clients over 10 GbE w/o need to invest money into SAS switches and HBAs and FC HBAs and new licenses FC ports. Making long story short:

An iPod (and iPad) ony have a phone number for Messages (and FaceTime) if there is an iPhone with Messages/Facetime using the same ID for Messages and facetime.

If you can't change the Settings that means that the Restrictions that prevent changing accounts is set. Settings>General>Restrictions

To Snowmobile, that method doesn't work. The letters just become the corresponding number on the keypad.
The train company here in Austria is 05 1717, I added AT to the end of the number like you suggested and the number when called came out to be 05 171728, needless to say I got the phone bot telling me the number was invalid.
For all, here's what I was talking about about adding a country label to the number.

Serial numbers for original product and upgrade. CS5.5 serial number is not accepted by CS6 upgrade installer.

I had CS5.5. I purchased an upgrade to CS6 but due to machine limitations never successfully installed it. My machine has recently been reformatted, so of course CS5.5 is gone. I tried to install CS6 and it likes my serial number, but says I need an upgradable product and asks for a serial number for my upgradeable product. When I enter my Cs5.5 serial number, I'm told it's not a qualifying product. Any ideas?

We live in an area that does not have fiber optics for VIOS, or cable. Our service is received by either MIFI or Satellite service. I'm paying right now over $200 for my Jet Pack and Droid. I'm on a fixed income and I have End Stage COPD, so that means my quality of life has been lessened due to cost of service. Please explain to me the difference between the two services. Kevin.

Yep none of that will be 4G. Not on any phones that use Verizon's network. Only the Galaxy S 2 on Straight Talk will use "4G" on at&t's network and it's not even LTE is HSPA+. Also the fine print of the "unlimited" data says after 2 GB Straight Talk can throttle you down to 2G speeds and if you continue to use more than 2 GB a month they can cut off your service forever.

I have Keynote and Numbers for my iPad and they will not update. Now it says they are waiting to update but never does and I can't even open them.

did you by chance just turn on itunes match on your iPad? I had the same problem a while back. It turned out that I had just turned on itunes match & it was downloading a ton of songs onto my iPad & numbers/ Keynote were in the queue, but it took a long time (maybe a couple of hours, I don't recall) for them to get downloaded.
