High RAM use by Creative Cloud

Creative Cloud starts an svchost.exe/Local Service process that consumes more than 1 GB of RAM. Windows 7, home premium, 64 bit.
I suspect this is related to font syncing. I tried the beta font sync and this happened. However, I have syncing turned off and it still happens.
I do not want to use anything that consumes 1 GB or more of RAM unless it is under my control (such as Photoshop). What can I do?

Since installing Mavericks I have never seen my RAM go below 3.5. Before it would max out at about 2-2.5 with the same programs open. So idk too much about Mavericks actually being less intensive on RAM or not.

I suspect that the issue is that Adobe likely doesn't issue Adobe IDs to children under 13, because of COPPA. Given the nature of Adobe's products, the potential legitimate userbase of under-13s is small, and the compliance costs could be very high. Bear in mind that a kid under 13 can't legally sign up for a Facebook account, with or without parental permission, either, because FB doesn't want the liability for compliance if it knowingly signed up under-13-year-olds.

It's not just whether Adobe make Creative Cloud compatible with ChromeOS, it's that Chrome OS isn't necessarily the issue. The products as currently available have pretty low-spec processors; you wouldn't buy a PC with a Celeron or Atom in it to run CS6, and just because CC6 exists in the cloud doesn't mean it actually runs in the cloud. So, until someone makes a Chromebook with a chunky processor there's no point in anyone bothering with a port.

Welcome to Adobe Forum,
You had purchased CC on March 4th, 2014,
The Creative Cloud individual that you have can be activated on one more machine, as one CC allows two activation, till now it is activated only once.
In future if you want to switch machine, you will need to deactivate it first & then re activate on other machine.

Regarding the creative Cloud site license, it can be installed only via packaging (CCP) & it is a volume licensed product, it can be used only on the machine on which it is installed.
