High Seas PO scenario

Hi..
We have a high seas PO seanario where in the material is received in the customs we have made a dummy plant (Customs) where we receive the material. After we receive the material in this dummy plant we transfer the material through STO  to the actual manufacturing plant now here we have to take the CVD credit, I want to know how is CVD handled in this case.
Thanx in advance

Hi
If your PO is raised before the sales order then it would be difficult.
If your raising of the sales order is against a demand from a customer then this can be easily mapped through the Third Party scenario using TAS item category in the sales order.
Whena sales order is created then a PR get generated with account assignment of sales order.
when you do the goods receipt of this PO the stcok will be directly delivered to the customer. the system simulates the posting as the stock has entered and leaved your premises in determining the accounts for posting, but physically we have not received that. So it will be a statistical posting only.

Material is imported by local vendor by sea on behalf of you. Here local vendor adds profits margin with material value.
You need to pay customs duties to clear material from them.
Material is cleared from customs by another freight agent on behalf of you.
    In SAP,
Create a separate or single import pricing procedure according to duties involved in importing ,
You need to assign import schema to local vendor master.
Other purchasing steps will be same as import purchasing process.

  • High seas purchase - HS

    Hi,
Pls tell me , what's high seas purchase ?? and how  its handled in sap and how the a/cing entry will be passed?/

In two ways you can match this scenario,
    1. Consider Port as a Plant, do plant to plant STO for the quantity that you received physically to the factory. (In this case PO should be raised from port i.e, considered as plant). Do the sales process from the plant (port).
    2. Do the logical GR for the total material and then do the sales process.
    3. Logical GR indicates only document wise you will do GR for full quantity but physically GR will be for the quantity that left after sales.
    4. since standard Material type ROH doesn't have sales view, you need to use customized material type which is having both purchasing and sales view.
Create new material type by copying ROH and add sales view to that material type as per FERT.

    Rahul.

  • High Sea Sales Scenario

    Dear Experts,
The issue is to map the scenario for High Sea Sales for my Client. It is as follows..
1.We will issue import order to our vendor (imported vendor)for purchase of raw material.
2.We will issue order at the rate of  USD 2600 per MT FOB china port.
3.Suppose 100Mt of raw material is shipped from china and we pay immediately to our import vendor in dollars. We also pay ocean freight USD 50/- per MT to our shipping agent.
    4. So we enter into an high seas sale agreement with our customer for sale of material ie a Raw material @ USD 2750/- per MT CIF.
5.My client want to book purchase of raw material in our accounting records (but without bringing the material in our stock).
6.Similarly client wish to book sales @2750/-USD without movement of material from there plant.
Kindly let me know the procedure that is to be followed in SAP for capturing the entire transaction,as i am very new to this scenario.

  • Vendors maintained as HIGH SEAS as well as DOMESTIC

    Hello All,
I've being doing the master data review of this client, and based on the initial discussions, same vendors are maintained as HIGH SEAS as well DOMESTIC.
This issue here is that in case of advance payments made to HIGH SEAS vendors, the tracking becomes effortful during invoice processing.
Could someone please propose a control/solution for this??
    Regards,
    Manoj

Instead of maintaining vendors for high seas as well as in domestic, you can opt for split valuation of materials,
for domestic purchase valuation will be indegnious, for ex.RM-IND,where as for high seas you can have
    valuation type for ex.IMP-DP.
    or
Opt for vendor sub ranges, define two different purchasing conditions with same vendor code.

  • High Sea Sale Scenario

Hi expert pls. guide me about the High Sea sale scenario/process....
    thanks,

I found this on the Pricing procedure determination:
    Price determination
If you wish to use partner roles for price determination purposes, SAP provides the enhancement LMEKO001 (customer exit EXIT_SAPLMEKO_001).
You can then create a partner role "forwarder", for example, so that the freight charges of different carriers or forwarding agents can be taken into account in the purchase price determination process.

  • High density WLAN scenario

    Hello,
Next week I'm facing a high density WLAN scenario, so I'm gathering info related to WLAN config advices, expected issues, etc. I've read Cisco WLAN High Density WLAN guide, but I'm still having questions about how my WLAN network will react to a high density scenario, i. e. auditorium with 800 seats. I'm planning 4-5 APs, maybe one in each corner and one in the middle.
My gear is Cisco WLC 5508 v7.4.100 with a mixture of 3600, 2600 and 1142 APs. I'm a bit doubtful about certain issues, related to high number of devices (specially iPhones and Android phones) trying to get connected to WLAN network. Regarding radio frequency planning, allow only high modulation levels, is there any other config I can set in order to force wireless clients to stop trying to associate to a certain AP? Is client-balancing setting working well with iPhone and Android phones?
My other concerns are about what info and graphics should I watch in real-time in Cisco Prime. Certanly, number of clients per Ap, but, anything else?If I get AP saturation, how should I react? Moving or adding APs? Rising modulation level?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Libera TAC team.

I disable 1,2,5.5,6,9 and 11 Mbps, 2 to 54 are supported, TPCv1 is enable, but I´m using fixed power because the WLC assigned low power and clients get low signal. Now I´m testing an area using 1-24 Mbps as disable and 36, 48 Mbps as supported and 54 Mbps as mandatory, do you think that with this set up will we be able to manage high power level?
Here, we have serveral clients into small areas, so we have lot of APs for the amount of clients.

  • Inventory sometimes coming to our place in high sea sales scenario?

    Dear Experts,
Here we have mapped the high sea sales scenario through third party sales process.
here in this process since the documents are endorsed on the name of customers when the shipment is sailing only, so here we have to do only statistical GR where in client's inventory will not be updated as per standard third party scenario, but here some times goods are stored at client's plot ( which was hired at port) and the shipment for the same starts after 5 days or so.
under such situations client is asking us to show the inventory like third party stocks. To deal with this kindly suggest your suggestions so that this can be adressed by taking legal points of high sea sales agreement in mind.
    Balu R.V

    Hi Balakrishna,
If clients asking you tshow the stock which is only possible when if carry out GR in the respective plant in that ase only stco will show or in othe way is in STO stock will as in transist. Without doing GR how the stock will updated /Show.
But you can Map with creation of Logical plant which i uite normal in Bonded storage process as and when required pay the duty and release the material which bulk purchase and material will be stored at Cutom as and when reqyured pay the Duty and receipt the material through STO in the same way you can map.
    1) You can create Port as a plant
    2) For high sea material tracking ,recieve the material through MIGO -Movement type 103 (No acunting documents  will generate)
    3) MIRO for Customs dept
    4) MIGO 105 at port plant to recieve the material at Port( accounting documents for inventory will generate )
    5) MIRO for Import Vendor
    6) perform STO from port to manufacturing plant. Hope this will helps you.

  • How do I fix this problem? A link to firefox-sync immediately caused desktop screen picture to begin a slow sea-sick roll. I am running my AV program now and screen is still on the high seas.

From this page, [http://websearch.about.com/od/internetresearch/a/customhomepage.htm How to Set Your Home Page to Your Favorite Web Site]
I clinked on "web browser" [http://websearch.about.com/od/whatistheinternet/a/browser.htm Web Browser] and that immediately gave me the 'sea sick' roll to the screen. My AV has not found anything wrong, but it is still running. The speed of the rolling sea-sick screen seems to vary with typing speed. It slows down when I keep my hands off the keyboard. • High sea sale business process deviation problem?

    Hi all,
In my client eventhough material sold through high sea sale (and concerned invoice is raised), some times customer will not lift the material,
Now original high sea sale transaction (third party scenario) till customer billing is completed, after this out of this transaction whichever is not the lifted material from the client even after selling, they need a tracking system to count how many customer material is lying with them. and they wanted to issue delivery challan against it again, kindly suggest me is this suggestible and what are the auditing complications involved in it?
    regards,
    Sanjana

    Hi
    For High Seas sales ,
PR will be created based on the Sales Order, Create PO based on PR and do MIGO for that PO.
    Points to keep is
    -  the Import Vendor currency as Local currecny ( ie INR for India ),
    -  Do MIGO for that PO witha Storage Location exclusively created for this High Seas sales Process.
( sales acn issue the material from that SLoc )
    Regards

  • Configure PO document type for "High sea Sale"

    Dear sir,
Pl. tell me step by step how can i configure new Document type of Purchase order for "High sea Sale" business senerio without GR.
    Thanks/
    Anurag

    Hi,
In normal case, when you do GR w.r.t. a Normal PO then system updates Stock Quantity as well as Stock Value of Material.
But in case of High Seas PO, you don't want GR to happen, you want to carry out LIV directly based on PO. So in this case there won't be Stock Quantity updation as well as Stock Value updation i.e. Expense Account will get psted during LIV against Vendor Account. So your High Seas PO should be account assigned PO.
So to achieve this, create a separate document type for High Seas PO with allowed Item Category as Blank" i.e. Standard.
Path: - SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Define Document Types
OME9 - Create an Account Assignment Category as "Z" (High Seas PO) by copying "K" and in the detailed screen of the same deactivate "Goods Receipt" indicator.
Now create PO with this Document Type and Account Assignment Category "Z" and check under "Delivery" Tab Page, "Goods Receipt" indicator will be deactivated that means GR not required for this PO.

  • E1/E2 and High Sea sale

    Hi all,
Can anybody give the documents related to E1/E2 Process and High Sea sale Process.

  • SQL Server 2012 - RESOURCE MONITOR / PREEMPTIVE_XE_CALLBACKEXECUTE high CPU usage

    Hello,
We are currently in the process of migrating an existing clustered SQL Server 2008 R2 instance over to a clustered SQL Server 2012 instance as we phase out the Windows Server 2008 with SQL Server 2008 R2.
The setup is identical for the SQL Server 2012 instance as it is on the SQL Server 2008 R2 instance.  (meaning the RAM and CPU are both the same or better on the SQL Server 2012 instance)
The process in which we are migrating is that we're moving a few databases over to the new SQL Server 2012 instance each night.  What we've noticed is that the CPU usage is much higher on the SQL Server 2012 instance than on the previous
SQL Server 2008 R2 instance even though the there is only 1/2 of the databases migrated to the 2012 instance.
      Running the following script:
;with cte ([totalCPU]) as (select sum(cpu) from master.dbo.sysprocesses)
    select
    tblSysprocess.spid
    , tblSysprocess.cpu
    , CONVERT(BIGINT,(tblSysprocess.cpu * CONVERT(BIGINT,100))) / CONVERT(BIGINT, cte.totalCPU) as [percentileCPU]
    , tblSysprocess.physical_io
    , tblSysprocess.memusage
    , tblSysprocess.cmd
    , tblSysProcess.lastwaittype
    from master.dbo.sysprocesses tblSysprocess
    cross apply cte
    order by tblSysprocess.cpu desc
    Produces the following results:
In a clustered environment, is this normal and if not, does anyone know what this means or how to reduce the CPU usage?
    Thanks.

    Hello,
The following query may help us identify extended events or audit configurations running on that SQL Server server that are producing that high CPU usage scenario.
    SELECT
    s.name
    AS 'Sessions'
    FROM
    sys.server_event_sessions
    AS s
    WHERE
    s.name
    <> 'system_health'
    and s.name
    <> 'AlwaysOn_health';
    Hope this helps.

  • NEW Scenario (Sales of Raw Material)

    Hi.
We have done high seas purchase of raw material. Out of that part of the goods we have sold without being physically received in the factory.
Please suggest how to do accounting of the same in sap for purchase & sale of such raw materials.
Other part we have done MIGO-MIRO for the quantity actually received in the factory.
Note:- Material type is Raw material, So No Third Party Sale Possible since material type required  as  "HAWA"
    Regards,
    Balu.

    One Possible Process could be..
Create a Material of type HAWA or FERT. and do a stock transfer posting  ( MB1B) of movement type 309 ( Material to Material Posting  ) , then create sales order for this FERT material. and take the revenue.
The Posting needs to be done from your RAW material to this FERT material.
or the other alternative could be..
Create a new FERT material. and consume the raw materail to this fert material at no cost. and then create  a sales order.
