Highest Resolution not listed for 17" LCD

Hi!
I have a hp pavilion f1703 monitor (way to small I know g)and was planning to get a new one next year. But now it seems that I might have to get one rigth now.
Problem is, that the highest Resolution I can choose is 1024 * 768 when it should be 1280 * 1024. Further, the system profiler says that the monitor is a CRT and not a LCD!
I tried getting Drivers from hp. They don't have any for OS X.
I tried using the app DisplayConfigX. Didn't work.
I tried using the app SwitchResX. Didn't work either.
Any ideas?

Problem solved!
All one has to do is reset the PRAM. You can do this pressing and holding the command, apple, p and r keys during startup. Make sure to to this before the screen turns grey!
I also believe to know the reason for the problem.
When I set up my macpro, I plugged in the powercable before anything else. The mac surprised me by immediately starting up. It took me a few minutes to connect the monitor to it. My guess is that the my mac conigured itself before I was able to connect the monitor to it.

This is clearly the case of Material listing....
This is happening just because for that particular customer/Country you might have made the configuration through material determination that, he can order materials only which is listed to him.
In other words, That customer/Country can only order the materials which is in the list created by you through material determination.
If you desire to add this material to the list... go to Tcode VBO1 (its 'o1" not 'zero 1') and select the type as A001 (Listing). Just check weather the material is listed there.. if not.. add the material to the list.

Attributes not listed for Adm

The issue is where the values for attributes (ex. Cost Centers) are not listed for the Administrator. The Attribute section is located in 2 sections: Manage Employee Data and Edit Attributes.
We added a note 910076 a couple of days back in DEV, which removed the Add New Line button.
Any suggestions and fix are welcome.
Points will be rewarded amfully.

New TMG 2010 servers are not listing for port 443

Experts,
We have installed New TMG 2010 servers are not listing for port 443, we have 2 servers installed in same subnet. server can telnet at port 443 to self but can not do to each other.
Do we need to create any access rule in TMG to allow this ?. Please help.

Profile value per_person_id is not listed for $PROFILE$ block

Hi All,
I have reqirement to retrive the person_id to default Employee number in Personal analysis descriptive flex filed segment.
When i tried using $PROFILES$.PER_PERSON_ID or fnd_profile.value('PER_PERSON_ID') is not working for me.
Then i have checked the profile value list using "diagnostic-->examin" option in the application where i am not able to find the Per_person_id in the list.
Note: We are using the Oracle Applications : 11.5.9
Is there any way to meet my reqirement?

Hi, I need to attach a value set to attribute12 which should not be the employee number, attribute12 of per_all_people_f and employee_number of a custom table and the number for the attribute12 should be the unique value.
The steps i have followed
1. created a table file_number to hold the numbers from 0000001....to...9999999
2. created a view-file_number_v to have unique numbers as
SELECT fn.file_number
FROM file_number fn
WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1
FROM per_all_people_f pap1
WHERE pap1.employee_number = fn.file_number)
AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1
FROM per_all_people_f pap2
WHERE pap2.attribute12 = fn.file_number)
AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT 1
FROM table1 t1
WHERE t1.employee_number = fn.file_number)
3. Created a table validated value set based on the above view and attached it to the Attribute12 of the DFF
Its worked fine for new inputs, but when ever i try to requery the employee,hence the number is inserted in the attribute12 column of per_all_people_f table the value set validates and provides error message.
To avoid this i have used the following temp table query,
(select file_number fn from file_number_v
union all
select attribute12 fn from per_all_people_f where attribute12 = :PERSON.ATTRIBUTE12:NULL) temp
I have used the above query as table in the valueset.
Now i have to get the person_id to use it on the above query to avoid the issue which i have mentioned in previous discussion.

In the UK I contact my iPhone by it's number that starts +44
(or I use the Apple ID I use in Messages Beta and set the Settings > Messages > Received At / Caller ID to the Apple ID)
FaceTime on the Mac (Included with Lion) works using an Apple ID
On the iPhone it tends to work with the Phone Number

Drivers not listed for Tecra A3 (PTA30A)

I followed the logical structure of the website and went through this link:

Drilled down to find only 13 drivers listed most of which are for windows 2000 (fat lot of use these days). However most of the drivers i.e chipset, audio, card reader etc... are not listed? Where am i suppose to get these files from?

Jaba is right, search on the Toshiba European website. There you will get the most drivers.
Normally the Tecra A3 (PTA30A) is an Australian model but I have checked the Australian website and there I cant find all drivers for this model. :(

External Samsung 2443BW native resolution not listed

I have a 2007 24" iMac to which I have just added a Samsung Syncmaster 2443BW external monitor on the mini DVI interface. The Mac finds the monitor fine but the preferences panel only shows available resolutions up to 1680 x 1050 at 59.9 Hz rather than the 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz which is native for the hardware and the same as the iMac panel. I am using the Apple DVI to VGA adapter for hookup and am running this on the analogue input (VGA) to the monitor. I have swapped the VGA cable with a known good one to no effect. Any suggestions fro how to proceed would be welcome. The extended desktop that is desired is usable at the lower resolution but the display is well below it's potential since it is running below native resolution. Thanks for any help offered

I'm trying to download a trial of Muse CC, but it isn't listed under the available apps on my CC Installer. I currently run Mavericks on my MacBook Pro. Please help

My podcast was accepted earlier today and I can find it in search, but there are no epidoes listed. There is only a subcribe button under the podcast image. Why is this? Was itunes unable to download the episode from my site? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your insight into the podcast dilema. I wanted to chime in here and ask if you think that the issue applies to me as well. I have been subscribed to a podcast for some time now and the "show" is up to episode #35. All 34 episodes faithfully download or present themsalves for download upon running iTunes on my pc. Last night when I tried to bring in the latest podcast, #35, I was surprised to see that iTunes did not automatically download it so I tried the refresh button a few times to no avail. The action produces no response as if there were nothing available for download but I know that is not the case. Oddly enough when I use the following link I can "play" the podcast via my local copy of iTunes. Here is the link:

Do you think this is related to what you had mentioned about Apple having an issue as per Mr. Walch's information? I must say that this has only happened after the latest iTunes update but that could purley be coincidence.

Ontario Universities are not listed for CC, I selected Home School as advised but...

How should I proceed?
Context:
I am a full-time student at an Ontario university.
I registered for Creative Cloud for Teachers and Students.
I could not find my university listed in Adobe's database.
Adobe recognizes this technical error and their official advice is to select Home School.
I selected Home School.
But I would like to submit evidence that I am a full-time student at a Canadian University.
I don't want to wake up one day and find that Adobe has disqualified me from the Teachers and Students rate.

I have requested that Ontario University be added.

Program not listed for next week

Jamboree in the hills is next week and Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday are being televised on wtov9. For some reason comcast doesn't list it being televised on my boxes or the website.How can I get this program added to the listings?

If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:
