Highlight color for left panel on itunes 7.3?

I recently updated my itunes to 7.3 and the color on the left panel changed from black to blue, How can I change the color back to black?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can change this--it's not an option--it's part of iTunes.
And, on my computer--it's not "true" blue--it's more halfway between gray and blue. (So still halfway to black, if you want some positive news!)

has the paint method ! Take the Graphics Object and call Graphics.setColor( Color.red ) .. and u can draw regular shapes like fillRoundRect. blah blah.. u need t count on the pixels .. I guess..
An easier choice could be adding labels or panels with a layout of ur choice ..

I have a JComboBox, when i navigate between the various items inside the Combobox, it gets highlighted by some color. I want to know how to get that color object, i want to use the same color for something else. What would be the RGB combination for tat color?

color. In order to access the JList object in a JComboBox, study the source code
JComboBox.java. Especially, its AccessibleJComboBox() constructor is the key.
Alternately, you could use:

How to change highlight color for menus?

What controls the highlight color used for Firefox menus? ... like Find, Print and About ... the main menus.
I used the Stratiform Plug-in to change my font color to blue and now it's exactly the same as the highlight color ... so highlighting makes the entry's text invisible.
I want my highlight color to be YELLOW only, regardless of any theme I might use.

Good idea ... but (in XP) the color for Selected Items only affects Windows menu entries. It looks like some other setting affects the Firefox ones. I've attached a couple of captures to show what I'm seeing.

Is there a way to change the highlight color for buttons?

I swear, iDVD has got to be the most counter-intuitive program Apple has made in recent memory. I'm a huge Apple fan but this program makes me want to throw my computer at the freaking wall.
All I want to do is change the ugly yellow highlight color of the buttons (which appears when you select them) in the DVD menu. I'm making a wedding video, and the DVD menu is all silver, gray, black and white, so the yellow color that it defaults to looks hideous.
Any help is appreciated!

You may want to consider upgrading from Acrobat 9.5 Standard to Acrobat X Pro. Acrobat X Professional has the redaction tool which is really easy to use.
You could also accomplish the workflow you described in your question. If you right-click the tool-bar, and enable the Properties Bar, you can change the color of your highlighter tool to black. Then you can 'highlight' the text you would like to eliminate. After you're done, print the document to the Adobe PDF printer with 'Document and Markup' selected under the 'Comments and Forms' drop-down menu to 'refry' your PDF.

Can I change highlight color for "today?"

I have trouble telling the difference bewteen the shades of blue in the monthly calendar and the "Today" box. The shades are so close to each other it's hard to quickly find today's date.
Is there a way to change the highlight color to something that contasts more with the light blue?

I'm afraid not, but other posters have suggested that if you have the display's contrast set too high it's difficult to see the highlighting, so you could try reducing that and see if it helps.

How do you change the highlight color for the day of the month?

*Does anyone know how to set up iCal so that the "Today" in the month view will show up better?*
It is such a really faint color of light blue that I can barely tell what day it is at a glance.

In JTabbedPane class There are methods
setbackGround(...) setForeGround(..) methods but
what is the way to tell that, when a perticular Tab of a tabbedPane
is selected it should be highlight with this color..
Now every thing is defaulting to grey???

if so, put this line prior to creation of the JTabbedPane (will affect all JTabbedPanes)
UIManager.put("TabbedPane.selected",new javax.swing.plaf.ColorUIResource(Color.YELLOW));

Highlight Color for Acrobat Forms

I'm using Acrobat Pro Xl
I need the form highlights to be in a different color the the existing light blue and the black border when another user opens the pdf, views and fills individual forms out.
I've spent now a few hour to google the web - without any succes.

Itunes does not show my audio cd on the left panel

Hi,
I have a Dell Laptop with Windows 7.
When I put an audio CD into the DVD/CD-drive, I can hear the music with every program on my computer except from iTunes.
The audio CD is not shown on the left panel of iTunes.
The CD does not have a copy protection because iTunes on my father's computer does show the CD.
However, when I run the diagnostics, there a no errors. iTunes recognizes even the tracks on the CD etc. - everything is fine.
Only the CD is not shown on the left panel and I cannot hear the tracks of the CD nor rip it.
I have already checked the support sites, I have already checked the DVD/CD-drive filters, reinstalled iTunes, downloaded the latest firmware and the drivers etc. etc. (and everything else what is recommended on Apple's support sites).
Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem?

How do I control the selection highlighting colors assigned to Layers?

When new layers are created in the Layers panel, they are set to a default selection highlighting color. The color for each new layer changes, sequencing through a list of color options. For my personal use, whether or not it's the lighting in my office and/or the artwork I'm working with, I find about 75% of the color options to be unusable. In fact, the only color definition that works consistently for me is 'Green' (the third option from the top of the list). I work with many layers on every project and I find myself changing every layer to Green manually. Is there an option to set the default highlighting color for every new layer to a single color rather than cycling through the list? I have looked through all the options I could find throughout Illustrator without seeing such.

Create all your layers, select the first layer, hold down shift, select the last layer, then doubleclick to change all layers at one.
Or create a template with your layers/names/colors that you want them, and save as to a .ait template format.

How can I change the highlight color of grid view folders in the dock?

Using OSX 10.10 Yosemite, the highlight color for a folder in Grid view is barely noticeable.

I would open up the grid spacing slightly so everything does not run together. In System Preferences > General, try setting Highlight color: Red. This won't change the grey selection background around the icon, but it will turn the background behind the icon text to red. That stands out. However, the collateral effect is that text you select in this editor, and other OS X applications, will now have a red background too. Changing colors will require a killall Finder in the Terminal. Actually set mine to #ffff00 which is a vivid yellow, which is more practical when selecting text in a document.

Hi Brent,
I took it to apple service center. They did some checks and found out that the display has gone bad and they replced it with new one.
Did you try connecting other display (may be Apple Display or Dell monitor) using an adapter? In my case the Apple service center people tried doing it and the display was appearing just fine without any green line. So the fault was in my MBP display.
