Highlight delete deletes whole box of text in a CMS

...rather than just the highlighted bit, but colleagues with the same Macbook (and other Macs), using the same browser version and the same CMS do not have this issue, so it can't be the CMS. I can't find anything wrong in shortcuts etc.
Any suggestions for a solution would be much appreciated.

Yes that is correct John and thank you for that contribution. However I think there is another method as well? Because I'm working off of a template that already has these highlighted lines of text, however it does not appear to be done by that method. Because I can still add underlines & strikethrough while the text box remains as a background. I have attached the image of the template I'm working with.
All I want to do is change the color and shade of the boxes (refer to the red highlighted text and grey toned boxes under "PAGE 3... PAGE 7..." etc. If all else fails I will recreate using the method you outlined, thanks.

You can not insert a section break into a textbox.
You appear to have a lot of objects with wrap set, that once you take them out of the flow of text (by sending them to the background) causes the text to reflow and contract into fewer pages. Pages is almost unique in the way it forms up pages in Word Processing mode only so long as there is text on them.
I suspect you probably have hammered away at returns, spaces and tabs as well to position things, which only works to add to the mess.

PS There is quite a lot of programming in OSX that is far from "intuitive". Pages is easy at one level, when using the templates, otherwise it can be quite frustrating.

An easy way to delete a whole album without having to select it's tracks?

I have only been using iTunes for the past week after purchasing an iPod Nano, and am used to using Wmp 11. In Wmp 11, if you want to delete an album from your local library or dap, you can just right-click the album art and select 'delete'- job done.
However, in iTunes, I have found I have to make sure my Artist and Album categories are shown at the top of my track list (by clicking the 'eye' button at the bottom right), select the album so just that albums tracks are displayed, select one of the tracks, then Ctrl+A to highlight all the tracks, then press Del. Is there something I am missing here? I have checked the iTunes help, and can't see any other way of deleting a whole album without having to highlight all the albums tracks.
Any help would be appreciated.

Blimey! Why didn't I think of that? Especially as I knew to press the 'Del' key to delete highlighted tracks. I am assuming you can do the same if you want all an artists album collection removed too- highlight the artist and press 'Del'?
I think what it is, I am just used to right-clicking with Wmp11, and I am not used to using the keyboard for such tasks.

TS2755 When I click on a IPhone number in contacts to send a message. It keeps trying to send the message to the land line. I deleted the whole contact and re-entered it. But, still wants to send to the land line instead of the IPhone.

When I try to send messages to another IPhone.
I go to contacts.
Touch IPhone number.
Type message.
Hit send.
Comes back to me.

Well I did not touch the land line number - I touched the IPhone number.
I have deleted the whole contact, and re-entered it.
I have turned the IPhone off and on.
Still I get this message on only two of my contacts.

if you want to script an application, read and use the application scripting dictionary. using System Events to script the GUI is something you should only do as a last resort. It creates clunky, slow, overly complex, and breakable scripts.

No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents".

The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well. Tap Show All Apps to get the complete list of apps and MB used for backup storage.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

First off try and go into your IPhone manually through My Computer and cut photos or anything you can through the device to be able to free space up so that you can continue to do what you want to do with ITunes. This way you will be able to create a backup or do what you have to do to manage your information, photos and texts on your device a little better.

How to delete a whole directory in Contribute CS3

Here is my problem :
I've created a new page (html) in my site. This page contains
some pictures.
When I publish this new page, I choose a new directory to
save it : "NewDirectory" for example.
When I visit this new directory, I can see that Contribute
creates an "images" directory and I can see my new html page.
So, now I want to delete my (new) page. I know how to do
that. But my problem is : how to delete the images.
I can do delete them one by one but If I have a lot of image,
it will be very long.
Now my question : how can I delete a whole directory in
contribute without having the following message:
"CONTRIBUTE CAN'T DELETE THIS DIRECTORY. VERIFY DIRECTORY IS
EMPTY" or something like that...

Download FileZilla(free) and use FTP to delete the folder and
its contents. Its not possible doing this using Contribute, even
with 'Delete' permissions, you can only delete individual files
that you're allowed to edit. I haven't found any admin-settings
that allow you to delete folders with content (alas).

Is there a way to add/delete words from the predictive text options that my iPhone is giving me? I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.
There are specific words that are popping up in the area right above the keyboard where it displays 3 word suggestions to choose from. This area seems to suggest words that I have typed before, I'd like to remove these words. Default seems to select the word in the center and when I'm typing fast on occasion it will recommend and select words that I don't need to use.
Any help would be appreciated.
