Highlighting text in emails

Is there anyway to highlight text of emails I receive? I would like to be able to highlight the important sections in some the very wordy emails I get, so I go back to read them, I don't have to reread the whole thing!

Can I email iBooks notes with highlighted text?

I've been reading a book in iBooks and highlighting and taking notes. When I view my notes on my device it shows the highlighted text, but when I send the notes to my Evernote account (or any email account) I am not able to see the highlights I made. Is this a copyright issue? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help.

Unless your Lotus Notes email server allows POP or IMAP access into it from an email client, then no, there is no way.

Highlighting Text Acting Like REDACTING Text

Dunno what's goin on. A Pro 9. Windows Home, ALL UPDATES.
I highlight text and instead of seeing the text highlited, the highligt COVERS the tex. It's YELLOW colored REDTACTION.
I've REPAIRED the app TWICE. I REBOOTED each time. That APPEARED to have corrected the problem. It DIDN'T because the REPAIR failed and the HIGHLIGHT BLOTTOED OUT the text. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I opened the last thing I was working on where the YELLOW HIGHLIGHT redacted the text and the text WAS VISIBLE while highlighted. THEN I opened another PDF file and same deal, the YELLOW highlighting REDACTED rather than HIGHLIGHTED.
Uh, is it a me thing? Is it a thing I can chek or uncheck in A Pro 9? Wassup with this weirdness?

CS4 is not kind to those who don't know HTML/CSS well enough
to avoid these
errors, I'm afraid. It's really all about how much HTML and
CSS you feel
comfortable with, not the tool you are using. Should the
page/site be
rebuilt? I think so - at the least it should be taken apart

Now - if you want to bite the bullet and shove down some HTML
& CSS, and
muddle through, there is plenty of help here, but if you
aren't carrying
your load, people will tire of solving the problems you
encounter.

How do I know if my mouse is bad? I'm having trouble highlighting text with my mouse, model A1152

How do I know if my mouse needs to be replaced or if it something else? I am having increasing trouble highlighting text, it either won't hold the highlighting, or it won't highlight . . . making it impossible to create a link in my emails, to delete text, or copy and paste.
I have an iMac that is about 4 years old and the mouse that came with it uses a USB port to connect.

Is it one of those with a little moving/rotating ball on the bottom of it? Have you ever taken that out and cleaned it and the area holding it? It could be dust/dirt in there. I always used a QTip slightly moistened with alcohol.

I've been trying to find an easy way to highlight my text
with yellow or some other colors. It looks like in DW you need to
go through 1.5 Mil steps and maybe and hopefully this thing could
get done. I appreciate if any of you know an easy way to
highlight/shade the text in DW.

Adobe Reader 9 highlights text when scrolling in terminal server

Running a terminal server with WIndow 2003. Have Adobe 9 Reader installed. When a pdf is opened, it will look correct. However, when one uses the scroll bar on the right to see more of the document, text can be highlighted and change colors constantly when scrolling.
Test it outside of terminal server and it works fine. This issue did not happen with other versions of Reader. I have attached two samples one clean and one highlighted.
Any help is appreciated

Okay. Here is what I found. These settings are changed\saved under the User settings in the registry. Here is the key the changes are made to:
HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Reader\9.0\Originals
When "NONE" is selected from Adobe Reader - Edit - Preferences - Page Display - Rendering, three DWORD values are added to the above mentioned registry key. These are:
Value Name - Value Data
*bAntialiasText - 0
benableDDR - 0
iAntialiasThreshold - 12*
I have added these lines to a login script that adds the necessary DWORD values to default the "Rendering" to NONE.

The simplest way is to use a span and set a background-color for the text you wish to highlight.
e.g.

How do you text an email with the palm pre?

can someone tell me how i would go about texting someone an email that i received. . . i don't want to email it I want to text the email. . . I tried to save it as a memo and then send it as a text but it wouldn't do it and I tried to copy the email and paste it to text but it wouldn't let me do that either. . . any suggestions?

Shift-tap the email, and it should highlight so you can gesture tap-C to copy it and gesture-V to paste to text.
How long is this email? It could be very cumbersome for the receiver.

Backspace delete of text in email deletes the email- why. With Lion

I use Mail 5.0 and Mac OS X Version 10.7.1 (Lion). If I open an email and highlight text and go backspace it deleted the email rather than the highlighted text which I think used to be the case. Is there another way to delete part of the text in an email before forwarding? Thanks for any help.

I too have the requirement to modify the content of the email body. Actually i have created one human task which sends the email notification to the Approver. when I check the email, the body of the email does not contain anything. Both the Information header that we give in the Task form and the task details are coming as an attachment to the email.
Could you please let me know, how we can get the Information header as the content of the email and also to customize the Subject of the email as per the requirement.

How to make form field that will highlight text

I have a calendar with several lines of text in each days box (yoga classes with class name and time). I need to create an interactive pdf which I can send to my teachers so they can highlight their availability to teach. I would like for them to be able to click on class times and have those times become highlighted. They could then save this form and send back to me. Please help... seems like it should be fairly easy but I've messed around for two days trying to make it happen with no luck!!

The problem is that form fields don't have an opacity setting, so they're
not very suitable for highlighting text.
Your options are to use a form field (like a button) with a transparent
fill color and a colored border, and then have the border become
transparent when clicked, or back to the color when clicked again, or you
could use a combination of an annotation and a button field. The button
will show/hide the annotation when clicked. The latter will look nicer but
is more complicated to implement.

It'll be good if the option for search btw file or via web when highlight text.
If highlight URL, option go straight to browser.
If highlight number, option to call.
If highlight email, option to email account.
Any ideas?

App, texting and email glitches

My smartphones have always weirded out on me and I don't know why. The latest - My IPhone 5 was about 8 months old and started glitching. While texting and emailing, the cursor will jump around, highlight, and erase. My apps will open and close, the touch goes crazy and rolls up and down and basically acts like there is a ghost playing with my IPhone trying to severely irritate me. Of course there has only been a few people that see this and never Verizon employees that think I'm losing it and trying to get one over on them. 2 weeks ago Verizon sent me another phone (refurbished) and its doing it again and it seems even worse. Could it be the Sim card? Has anyone experienced this?????
