Hi Gurus,
Developed web template in WAD 3.5 now need to publish within detail navigation panel on the portal. So that user click on the web template link and it opens up in the portal and also that web template brings selection screen on execution how do i handle that selection screen while publishing within detail navigation panel.
If some one can tell me step by step how to do it.

3.1.2.2     Creating an BEx Web Application iView
1.     Right-click on the iViews folder, and choose New → iView. The iView Wizard displays.
2.     Select iView template create an iView from an existing iView template radio button.
3.     Choose Next.
4.     In the iView Wizard, select BEx Web Application iView radio button.
5.     Choose Next.
6.     Enter a name, iView ID and iView ID Prefix.
7.     Choose Next.
8.     Choose SAP BW2.x/3.x radio button from Version.
9.     Choose Next.
10.     Select the SAP BW system alias SAP_BW and in the BEx Web Application Query String, Give Template= webtemplate name
11.Choose Next.
If you do not have the URL for the query you wish to create an iView for, simply log into the SAP BW system and launch the Query in the Web Browser. Select the query string in the URL navigation bar by highlighting it and copying it. You can paste this into the iView Wizard field, BEx Web Application Query String.
12.     Select the Open for editing when Wizard completes check box.
13.     Choose Finish.
14.     In the Property Category drop list, choose Appearance Size.
15.     Make modifications to the Attributes by changing Height Type to FULL_PAGE.
16.     Choose Save.
17.     Choose Preview to preview the iView.
Ensure your user is mapped to the SAP BW system already, or you will not be able to launch the query.
Finally assign these iview to page or workset and to a role
Then iview will dispaly in detailed navigaton
Selection screen will automatically popups once u click on report

as forums cannot guarantee quick answers please don't shout words like "extremely high urgent" and abuse the exclamation marks...
Instead (if you're are SAP customer): open a support message. If it is really an emergency, set the priority to very High - the message will be answered.
About your technical problem: well the returncode (rc = 1789) points to some network authentication issues.
Perhabs you should check MS technet [here|http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B823659&x=11&y=9] (scroll down or search for 'error 1789').

OLAP runtime very high - urgent

Hello Experts,
I am execting a query containing almost 30 RKF by hierarchy nodes and 30 CKF on those RKF.
Also, I am using Alt UOM in the KF conversions.
My ST03 analysis indicates that %OLAP runtime is approx 60% of total runtime.
I request you to suggest me few tips, which can considerably reduce OLAP runtime w/o removing RKF and CKF from query.
Should I use OLAP cache or not. What all settings I should apply in Query monitor (RSRT).
How do I test performance improvement.
What are the steps to set precalculation of reports, however this is the last option.
I read one of the blog from Prakash, he has suggested to inactivate OLAP cache when RKF and CKF are there in the query. Is it ok.

I would go with OLACP cache as per your requirement
OLAP Cache should be used whenever possible. However, for queries that are executed only once (or very rarely) or for very small queries (e.g., DB time < 0.10 sec), the cache overhead could lead to slightly worse performance.
Check if the Shared Memory size (rdsb/esm/buffersize_kb) is bigger than the OLAP Cache size. By default, the Shared Memory size is very small. SAP recommend an initial size of 100MB.
For more information on the OLAP Cache, see SAPnote 456068 .
If all frontend users are authorized to create queries, note that the OLAP Cache for a particular query gets invalidated each time the query is changed and re-activated and it might be useless eventually.
Queries containing virtual characteristics/key figures do not use the OLAP Cache by default. As the OLAP Cache cannot control other database tables, which might be read within the customer exits, and hence cannot invalidate, if there are any changes in those tables, this default setting guarantees data consistency. However, you can enforce explicitly the usage of the OLAP Cache, if you are sure that there canu2019t be a difference between the cached data and the original data using the virtual characteristics/key figures.
If you use virtual characteristics/key figures and want to use the OLAP cache, first make sure that the data is ALWAYS consistent, i.e. that the customer exit is not using frequently updated tables. Keep in mind that the Cache is not invalidated if the data in these tables changes! You can then enforce using the Cache as described in SAPnote 623768 (Extended Cache Functionality).
You can use OLAP trace (RSRTRACE) to warm up the OLAP cache.

Questions about system temps (way high, urgent)

I've just got my 865PE Neo2-FISER and was playing around with some settings. I ran the CoreCenter just to try it out and it says my NorthBridge is running at 63c???
Is this just a invalid sensor, or is this really the case? If it is, I'm going to go right in and see if the heatsink is even touching it. Temps are as below:
CPU: 43c
CASE: 30c
NB: 64c
All temps are at full load.

Showing messages as URGENT

I need to show some of my messages as URGENT for recipients all of whom are -- I regret to say -- using Microsoft Outlook, and some of whom need some extra prompting to take the 'Urgent'-marking seriously.
I should like simply to be able to mark the messages with a flag, but cannot find how to do that.
An alternative would be to show the text in the subject-line in red, bold, underlined, &c., but Mail will let me do that in the body of the message (where I have no use for such effects) but not in the subject-line, where I do need it.
Have I missed something ?

When you generate a new message look in the bottom right corner of the header area, beside the signature selector, and you will see an exclamation mark . This is a popup menu which allows you to set low, normal or high (=urgent) priority.
Setting the priority does not of course mean that the recipient will pay any attention to it. Mail marks incoming priority messages with !! in the flags field, but it is not very obvious. I use a rule to change the background colour of incoming priority messages to red.

Error while loading the custom portal transaction

Hi,
After the recent ITS Patches applied, our custom portal transactions are not work fine.
Some of the fields are displaced from their position and printing in abrupt position of the screen.
Transaction like address change, direct doposit screen... their fields like country key, bank key are not printing in the exact position in the screen.
This problem started only after appling the recently released ITS patches.
It's highly URGENT.. please help.

User Defined Variable in REPOST function

Hai friends,
I have a planning package where i have defined a Planning function for REPOST. What I want to do is to change a characteristic value based on the User entered another characteristic value. For instance say there are 2 characteristic C1 and C2 , I want the user to enter the set of values of C1 for which C2 value must change. For this , i created a USER SPECIFIC variable and put in the selection condition of parameter group. But when I execute the function , it doesnt ask for the C1 value and changes the C2 value for all records.
It is highly urgent. Kindly help !

Sql loader shell scripting

I need help on sql loader shell scripting basically since my input file is csv file will load into some target table say xx_90 along defining with control and data file. what where the data that goes into the bad file a segment of scripting that keep watching on badfile directory path if any bad file it finds it should move to a sperate database error table.
Plz any sqlloader shellscripting experts can provide me the solution for this. Its a very urgent code i need to deliver I need the sample code for this your help is highy appreciated

thanku..............when the load fails it moves to bad file script something like filewatcher it sees the data in the badfile and loads into the database error table........as i am basically businessobjects developer as for time being they have assinged me the task i did few manual loading on sql loader but i never have any experince on writing unix scripting i am quite worried to get this script done........
can i use the samecode for the failed bad records into seperate external table......

Closing a Browser window consisting of an mss webdynpro iview

I have a browsser window with an webdynpro mss iview displaying some details, this iview should have a LinkToAction UI Element called close, when clicking on this the current window should close. Exit plugs or any plugs cannot be used as it is an Floor Plan Manager based webdynpro

Hello,
There is one way around though it is big..but sure shot. On the click on button you can define a action.
In action you can set to navigate to other iView named as CLoseWindow.
This iView you need to generate thru par file which calls Javascript window.close() on body load of jsp file and you can also set ur DSM Terminator with that.
It works I know, but thru WD API.. I am sure there must be a way around. But if in case its highly urgent you can go with this meanwhile.

get the Message!!!I think, you missed to use a FetchProfile to get the message data. Look into the API for FetchProfile, there you'll find something like FetchProfile.CONTENT, IIRC.
It's because you have to download the data for each message seperatly, the body is not fetched automatical. Automatic fetching all data will result in a performance loss, if you only want to show the From: and Subject: headers.
Remember, this is all from memory and I'm not an expert in javamail. Take a deep look into the API.

I have got the same question for Windows XP. More generally, most of the apple applications (paje, calandar,contact..) interfaces (itune, icloud) and web pages (forum, support..) have a low contraste or colours that are impossible to change.

IPhone - Discerning High Importance/Urgent Mail Messages

Help! I have an iPhone 3G S. I can see my work email (MS Hosted Exhcange) on my unit, but I can't figure out how to discern when I get a High Importance/Urgent message. Like on Outlook it gives you an exclamation point. Any suggestions?

The iPhone mail app treats all emails equally. The importance rating thing is an Outlook thing.
