u mean the windows account, your fone syncs with?
if u can access your windows account via PC, the problem is most probably with the fone

  • Why is "more info" greyed out in the About This Mac window?

    RE:  MacBook Air running OS X 10.6.8
    The More Info... is greyed out in the About This Mac window... how can I ungrey it to get info?

    Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
    1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
    Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
    If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
    If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
    Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

    Error message is FAILED TO GET DISPATCH FROM IBRWSR2.  Then when you click on it the next error message says:  PHTML IS NULL. You have to click this error message twice and then the PDF finally loads. Happened every time
    Does anyone have a solution since Adobe will not respond?
    As a last resort I will try uninstalling the Adobe Reader XI and install Adobe Reader 10 instead. It seems to work ok. But when I try to install version 10 the Adobe site tries to install XI.  Any ideas?

    It worked just fine for me.

  • How do you edit the 'About this mac' window?

    Hi,
    I need to edit the about this mac window - pictured here to remind you of what exactly it is ( http://www.pluggedinmac.com/Picture%201.jpg )- in order to further my understanding of how this aspect of Macintosh works.
    I will be extremely greatful of all replies
    Thanks
    James

    You'll need to be a bit more specific about what you mean by "edit".
    If you want to edit the actual .nib file (the archive which describes the window), it's at
    /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/Ab outThisMac.nib
    Nib files can normally be edited by using the Interface Builder application that's part of the Xcode developer tools.
    However, since you're on an Intel-based Mac, you won't be able to edit the nib unless you first find a version from a Power PC Mac. The reason for this is that .nib files aren't actually a file, but a package that includes different parts inside the primary folder. For example, if you Control-click on the AboutThisMac.nib mentioned above, and choose Show Package Contents, a new Finder window will open which shows a single item "keyedobjects.nib". That is an actual file which holds the archived user interface objects (using key/value coding/archiving, hence the "keyed" in the name). To be able to open and edit a .nib file in Interface Builder, however, you need two additional files inside named "classes.nib" and "info.nib". These provide Interface Builder with the information necessary to properly open the nib. By removing those two files from the nib, a developer can essentially make the nib "read-only", meaning it will work fine when the application it's a part of needs to use it, but an end-user (or their competition) cannot open the nib file in Interface Builder to see how the objects were constructed. Most nibs that are part of an OS X install on PowerPC-based Macs include the necessary files and can be opened in Interface Builder. Most of the nibs included with Intel-based Macs, on the other hand, do not include those files and can't be opened in Interface Builder without first copying the "classes.nib" and "info.nib" files from a PowerPC-based Mac's nib to the Intel version of the nib.
    Hope this helps....

  • HT1750 What about TWO different numbers in MacOs (about this mac window) and on the bottom of the foot of the iMac ???

    What about TWO different serial numbers in macOs (about this mac window) and on the foot of the mac. This mac was not purchased as a refurbished nor has been sent for servicing on any time since purchasing...
    The one in MacOs is answering : "This is not a valid Apple Product serial number" when i try to check the iMac 1TB Seagate Hard Drive Replacement Program...

    You will need to check with Apple - might be a good idea to take it to a Genius Bar so they can see it for themselves (and the diagnosis is free).

    Standard Lion networking .. Reboot the TC or use the disconnect all users in the AU.. it has not closed the sparsebundle correctly from last time.. or has simply forgotten where the TC is.
    It is reported at least once a day here.

  • Remove ATA from 'About this Mac' window

    I replaced my MATSHITACD-RW CW-8122 on my PB to a straight HD, Hitachi HTS541616J9AT00. My question is when I open the 'About this Mac' window it still shows the MATSHITACD-RW CW-8122 even though it has been removed. How do I get rid of that info because my DVD/CD burning software references the non-existant drive.
    ??

    Ok cornelius it was a while back when I changed it because the drive it came w/was becoming noisy and the time I had 40GB of music and tons of pictures so I figured it was time to replace. This is exactly what I see in the 'System Profiler' (I figured out that is what I am referring not 'About this Mac')

  • What Can I Do About This Error?

    I have 2 form programs. The first program is the main menu. The user pushes a
    button and the program transfers control to a second form program. On this second screen, the user enters an SSAN. At the bottom of the screen there is a
    message which says:
    'Enter a query: press F8 to execute, Ctrl + q to cancel'
    I press F8 and get the error message:
    FRM-41050: YOU CANNOT UPDATE THIS RECORD.
    I know that I am attempting to update a record on a block that does not allow
    updates. I also know that I should not update records in this block until I have
    set the UPDATE ALLOWED BLOCK PROPERTY TO TRUE.
    However I have said:
    SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('NCOER',UPDATE_ALLOWED,PROPERTY_TRUE);
    and I still get the error message:
    FRM-41050: YOU CANNOT UPDATE THIS RECORD.
    What can I do to get around this error?

    I presume that your Form is in CHANGED mode and when you go to second screen and enter SSAN and press F8, then it will give you the error "YOU CANT UPDATE RECORD".
    Before pressing F8 you need to go into enter_query mode and then do the query.
    Please mark the answer if it helps

  • Has anyone seen this error "window.cpp line 11518"

    I have this error in my application and I am not printing or using an event structure. Apparently this error code has been found with printing front panels or using an event structure. I am using a case structure and all other cases are working properly. Once I get to this case labview displays this error and crashes. I deleted the case and the case structure and rebuilt it but I am still seeing the same problem. In this case there are two subvi's when the second subvi is executed this error is present when the second subvi is in highlighted execution the error is not present. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

    After troubleshooting this problem more, I found that in the second subvi under vi properties, show front panel and close after if originally closed were not checked. Once checking both of these options the error did not occur anymore. Also this error was not present when the subvi was open in the background.

  • What about this error message : Rastertoscpll quitted before printing ?

    Hi all,
    I want to print any document and ubnfortunately I obtain this message on mu MacBookPro :
    Rastertoscpll quitted.
    No problem with the same printer with my iMac.
    Many thanks
    Paul from France

    Usually (not always, but usually) you'll receive this error message because you haven't given your computer a 'name'.
    Open System Preferences>Sharing and make sure that your computer has a name. If it doesn't, add one. Try printing again after you've 'named' the computer. It should work now.

  • Confused about this error.

    I'm new to Java, and I'm trying to do some work with the Graphics2d library. But whenever I try to run any sample code (like below), I get this weird error:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ShapeExample
    Exception in thread "main"
    What's up? It seems that the code below is fine. I'm using J2SE 1.4.1 with Eclipse.
    import javax.swing.*; // For JPanel, etc.
    import java.awt.*; // For Graphics, etc.
    import java.awt.geom.*; // For Ellipse2D, etc.
    /** An example of drawing/filling shapes with Java2D in Java 1.2.
    * From tutorial on learning Java2D at
    * http://www.apl.jhu.edu/~hall/java/Java2D-Tutorial.html
    * 1998 Marty Hall, http://www.apl.jhu.edu/~hall/java/
    public class ShapeExample extends JPanel {
    private Ellipse2D.Double circle =
    new Ellipse2D.Double(10, 10, 350, 350);
    private Rectangle2D.Double square =
    new Rectangle2D.Double(10, 10, 350, 350);
    public void paintComponent(Graphics g) {
    clear(g);
    Graphics2D g2d = (Graphics2D)g;
    g2d.fill(circle);
    g2d.draw(square);
    // super.paintComponent clears offscreen pixmap,
    // since we're using double buffering by default.
    protected void clear(Graphics g) {
    super.paintComponent(g);
    protected Ellipse2D.Double getCircle() {
    return(circle);
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    WindowUtilities.openInJFrame(new ShapeExample(), 380, 400);
    }

    I am running it now without an IDE, can you guys
    explain the problem a bit more explicitly? I mean, I
    thought the class that is giving the trouble is the
    ShapeExample class, which is in the file.
    Do you mean to say that I have to put that part of
    the file with this class in a seperate file (say
    shapeexample.class) and then use a .java file to call
    the class to run it?
    Sorry, I'm pretty new at this.You write code that humans can understand and put it into .java files.
    Then, you call javac, or click your IDE's "Compile" or "Build" button to compile the .java source files into .class files that the VM can understand.
    Then you call java -cp some;class;path MyClass, or click your IDE's Run button, to invoke the VM and tell it to run the main method in the MyClass.class file, and that it can find MyClass.class and all the other .class files that it needs in some or class or path (where "some" and "class" and "path" are just dummy placeholder example type thingies)
    You should go through a tutorial from the beginning. All these questions will be addressed.

    Hi bhany ch,
    Based on the error message, you fail to connect an Analysis Services data source. Right?
    As mentioned in stack trace, it requires Windows Integrated Security. Please check if the current user has permission on the report server and database.
