Hijacked email account on iPhone?

Hi All,
I have received a weird kind of spam this monday, which I was simply unable to delete nor able to redirect it to my junk. Every time I did either of the two, my email account reloaded and it came back over and over again and always showing "monday" as the receival date.
I had opened the email once after 2 days on my iphone, and some weird .jpg file was shown to be downloaded. I had erased te entire email account, reinstalled it and then the suspicious email had disappeared, however, ever since then, all my emails from this account (on the iphone only) have disappeared and I dont receive any of the emails I try to send on to tha acoount. Instead it appears on my gmail account... WEIRD! On my computer and iPad everything works fine...
Is it possible that my email trough the phone is being hijacked? Or??
It is an iphone 4s 16GB, running the new IOS7. The email is a private email address, which I use for my work/website) the SMTP is running through GMAIL, the account on the Phone is an IMAP setup - worked so far perfectly fine

There are no known viruses or malware for an unjailbroken iPhone. If yours has one its the first.
I suspect the problem is that email corrupted the mailbox file on your server. In this age of sophistication its a revelation to realize that an email inbox is just a sequential file with plain text delimiters between messages. If any of those delimiters get overwritten the file becomes unreadable. There are tools to repair it, but they are specific to the type of server and mail process.
Can you access the mail from a computer or other device? Does your email provider have a webmail interface that you can use to access the server directly?

I thought maybe you had a restriction set to Accounts but if you can get to the final screen that's not it. I'd try resetting the phone. First do a hard reset. Turn the phone off then press the Home button an Power button at the same time and hold for 10 seconds or so until the logo appears. If that doesn't work go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. That will basically restore the phone to a like new condition but keep your data, music, photos, etc. intact. Do a back up first though.

log on to your second yahoo account on your PC and check around in settings to see if you can verify.

think all do that same deal when changing network if you're driving
it's not the speakers it's the wire connecting the device with the speakers
it will act as a neutral antenna and receive the harmonics from the gsm signals when they get a sms or change network and that will play in the speakers
maybe you could look into a very very very shielded cable 3.5mm cable which would be protected from those harmonics or maybe you should look into external speakers which use bluetooth a2dp profile

How do I sync 3 email accounts with iPhone

I have 3 email accounts all currently appearing on iMac (using entourage). I tried mobileme and couldn't seem to get all 3 to work. Had a chat with apple support and they say I can't use mobileme for more than 1 email address.

Has anyone found a solution to the issue of default email account on iPhone continually changing?

I am seeing an irritating problem with the default mail account, calendar and contacts list on my iPhone 4.
Every so often (I think it happens randomly after syncing or even just connecting the iPhone to my iMac without syncing) I notice that some or all of my default email account, calendar and contacts list have changed away from my desired default (which is my Exchange account).
The iPhone is running iOS 4.3.5 (8L1) and I'm using iTunes 10.4.1 on my iMac.
I found this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1639451 dating back 2 years to the days of iOS 2.1 without any solution. Googling hasn't helped me find any answers yet.
I have 5 accounts set up on the iPhone - a MobileMe "Find my phone" account that's only used for that purpose, not email, a GMail account, a couple of vanilla IMAP accounts and my main, Exchange 2010-based account that I use for mail, contacts and calendar.
Most frequently after a change I find that the default email has switched to the GMail account, the calendar and contacts lists have switched to my iPhone and most of my Exchange account mail folders are empty and have to re-sync when I tap on them.
I know from Googling that other people have been seeing similar issues.
Has anyone found a workaround or solution?

Has no one found any solutions to this?
Or at least what causes it (so that it might be avoided)?
I find it difficult to believe this issue has existed so long in iOS without being addressed!

Can't add ANY email accounts to iPhone

I can't add any email accounts to my iPhone's mail application. (it used to work just fine) I have tried to enter my account information using my yahoo, gmail, and exchange and none work. I enter my account information and after it verifies it takes me to "account" which is only a blank screen. I have tried entering account information both directly on the mail app and under settings.
Anyone having a similar problem? anyone have any ideas of how to fix or what's wrong?

Have you tried Resetting All Settings? To do so, navigate to Settings > General > Reset.
If that doesn't work, restoring the iPhone and setting it up as a new phone (instead of restoring from backup) should ultimately resolve the issue.

Error message when setting up .Mac email account on iPhone

Hi - I've tried Apple support, iphone support, and the submit a question/problem to the mac people with no luck. So, I'm taking my question to the next higher level -- you all.
So here is the issue. I have had a mac email account for years. I buy my cool new iPhone a few weeks ago, and add my main apple mac email account to the iphone. All is good, and I can send/receive email messages from my main account. Then I add = three other email accounts I have on mac for internet/web surfing, and all is good there too. So, now I can access my 4 apple mac accounts on my iphone.
Here is the problem -- a few days ago, my main apple mac account stopped working on my iphone. I can still send/receive email messages via web based mac mail, and I can access all my mail on my laptopn (just like usual). But, now, when I go to check my main mac account on my iphone it says unable to verify username or password.
So, I have tried 100 different times now, all to no avail. I deleted it, rebooted it, tried it as a mac account, an IMAP account, POP account, etc.
I have all the latest versions of itunes, iphone, etc.
So, can anyone help me (pleeeese)......

reset the iPhone. Then, go to settings-mail-account, delete the current email account, reset again (just in case) and set up the email account you want

Can't Manage Email Accounts in Iphone 4

Hi experts,
I just changed my password of my gmail account. Now I can't access my email in my Iphone. This is despite, changing the password in my Mail in my Mac. I've tried adding and removing the account in Mail (Mac) and I've tried resyncing in Itunes with the replace functionality ticked on. It still says wrong password when I try to access it in my Iphone.
Moreover, I've noticed that Accounts tab in the Iphone Settings is Grayed out. Also, the gmail item in Iphone Mail is also grayed out. So, I can't add, delete or manage existing accounts in my Iphone.
Anyway to fix this without restoring?

Added twist. I added an exchange e-mail account to my iPhone. The security of the organization whose account it is on forced me to pick a password unlock my phone. I wanted to add another exchange account and the Account Information under the tab Mail, Contacts, Calanders is now grayed out. According to Apple this is a security issue with my exchange account. Now I can't add any more accounts.
Following the suggestion above I went in to Restrictions and it asked me for a Restriction Password. It would not accept the password I had developed for unlocking the phone. Seems like my phone has been taken over. Any suggestions on how to add another account?

Sync email accounts to iphone

I'm a beginner and need help. Just switched from BB to iphone4. Was able to access both my work and home emails on BB, but can't figure out how to do this on the iphone. When I hooked the usb cord from iphone to computer and opened itunes, I thought I synced everything, but nothing was moved to my iphone, so I obviously did something wrong! Can somebody help?

No, I am talking about any/all email accounts in your mail app on your computer.
All email accounts on your computer are transferred via iCloud sync.
It doesn't matter if they are google or yahoo or iCloud or your local ISP or whatever. If you have an email account in your Mail app on your computer, it is transfered to your iDevice using iCloud.
