Yesterday it stated "delivery successfully' even I haven't received the package!  And still nothing today!!  Hope it is not lost or somewhere!  It is horrible that the tracking information can give the wrong information like mine, never before like this one.Last year something very similar happened to me. It was an expensive item (well for me, over $300.) For some reason I checked the tracking one morning..... and  had a melt down when I saw it had supposedly been "delivered" the day before. I'd been at home the day before and no postie had delivered anything. In the heart of an Ottawa winter, there I was outside, looking for the parcel in our the garden. Digging through mounds of snow ...a sorry sight. Well guess what? It was delivered without a problem within a day or two of the  premature "delivered" tracking info. I hope yours will arrive on Monday. I know it is quite distressing to think something might have been delivered to the wrong address.  I wish I had never checked the tracking info because my imagination started getting the better of me. If nothing arrives by Wed,  contact Canada Post  and see what they say since the problem is on their end. Good luck!

  • How to show individual track information (like in the old iTunes) of a single artist (or that artist's album) without all the noise of every single other artist close in the alphabet?

The new iTunes has truly added extra visual noise.
I am trying to view a single Artist and the individual track information of that artist.  This used to be how itunes was, you could click on a single artist and then the tracks would all have their various categories.
I can still see this but only in the "songs" category and in that I have to see every single song or artist alphabetically.
How do I simply see the artist, and that artist's tracks, as well as the different info about that track I want to see, such as "name, track #, time, year, genre, bit rate, kind, etc."
Please don't counsel me on what information I need to see, or suggest that I stop caring about this, or ask me why I want to see this various info.
It was simple and accessible in the older version and I would probably stop complaining to all of my friends about the latest version of itunes if I can see this old format.
Or... is there a way to re-download the old version?  It's okay that you've made mistakes, every company makes mistakes, if I can revert to the old version that would be great.
    Thank you.

Select the Songs tab, then under iTunes Menu select View then click Show Column Browser. You will see the familiar GENRES ARTISTS ALBUMS header, click on one artist and you will have only the artist's albums and songs showing in the window below with all the specific info you selected under View options. If this is not what you wanted, simply reply with a nice "no thanks".
Search this forum for instructions to reinstall iTunes 10.7, there are quite a few posts explaining the process.

  • How do I update/refresh track information for mp3 files already on my the comput

I recently started using MediaSource after buying a Zen Touch and noticed that one (possibly more, I haven't screened all the?files I've burned) of the CD directories doesn't show the track information in MediaSource. I don't know why, when I go to the file directly on my computer all the information is there. I thought correcting the problem would be a simple matter of identifying the tracks without information and getting Gracenote to tag them, but I can't find any way to do this, and I've spent a lot of time looking.
In searching this forum I've found other users with similar problems but no solution. To keep this simple, I will ask the question in the most direct manner I can:?How do I get track information for mp3 files already on my computer? Please note that I'm not asking how to get track information for CD's I'm burning, these are files that have been on my computers for years. Can somebody please help? I'm quite frustrated that what I thought would be an easy to apply feature of MediaSource is proving so difficult.

Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. Make sure that your current ID is set in there.
You can also try logging out of FaceTime - Settings>FaceTime>Apple ID. Tap that ID and sign out. Sign in with the correct ID.

  • Proof of deliver past USPS 120 day available tracking information

An issue on an ebay selling forum has come to my attention that I would like clarification on. Some ebay sellers have had buyers claim INR through PayPal after the 120 day cutoff of USPS online tracking availability. The seller purchases a shipping label with tracking. The tracking number shows delivered. 120 days go by, and the post office removes the tracking information. PayPal claims have a 180 window. Buyer claims INR after 120 days because online tracking information is no longer available. The issue has been addressed on ebay seller forums several times and was brought up in a weekly chat with an ebay employee. His answer is that it is a PayPal issue, and ebay can do nothing to help. Is there a resolution to this problem, or are sellers going to have to drop PayPal from accepted payments. There are already more options out there. I use three different forms of online payment. Dropping PayPal would not be that much of a problem anymore.

Your best bet is to contact customer services direct with this question. You can't drop paypal on ebay i think its mandatory but you can of course on other sites. If you hear back can you come back and update? To be honest I don't think they can do a lot about it as they have bought in the 180 days to match the credit cards as a buyer can do a chargeback up to 180 days after paying. So if a buyer funds their paypal payment with a credit card (which I always do) then you will still get the same problem. Good luck.         ****************************************  I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.
Marking one of my replies as a solution would be appreciated if I sorted your problem.

  • TS1468 Why can't I edit album track information in the INFO window, and more to the next track without having to do each track seperate?

In iTunes 10, I could edit multiple track information in the (Info) tab and click to move to the next track within that album. Now with iTunes 11.1.3.8, I have to do each track seperate. It will not let me edit track information (as if track numbering), and click next to move to another track within the same album. It's a pain to have to do each song , and then click on the next song I want to edit. My music library is 171 GB (47,185 files & 19,498 folders). I can find the Duplicate files, but I can't edit like I use to in iTunes 10. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreicated!!!!! I will be an old man at the rate I'm going now.

Either select a single track, Get Info, then use the Next/Previous buttons to move between them, or select multiple tracks, Get Info, and edit common properties. The next and previous buttons do not appear in multi-track Get Info (and never have).
Regarding duplicates, Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created.  If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

  • How do I get iTunes to read and import track information?

How do I get iTunes to read and import track information from compilation CDs? Typically, the compilations have been burned to disk using iTunes or Toast 8 Titanium. I have checked data boxes as available with both softwares. My REGA Planet CD player as well as my car CD player can read the track info but neither my nor my friends' iTunes can read the tracks for importing.

I don't believe that iTunes can read CDText.

  • Missing track information over Airplay

I use AirPlay to stream my iTunes music library from a Mac mini acting as a media server, to a Denon RCD-N7 (with AirPlay update). This worked perfectly, including all of the information about the current track being displayed on the Denon. However, after upgrading iTunes to 10.6.1, the track information is no longer displayed, or is displayed incorrectly and incomplete, that is, either:
only the AirPlay logo is displayed, or
only the artist name for the previous track and the AirPlay logo are displayed
If I toggle the AirPlay setting in iTunes between 'Computer' and 'Denon RCD-N7', I can get the artist name of the current track to display, but it doesn't get changed when the next track is played.
Has anybody else seen this kind of problem, and if so can you advise how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    North

This turned out to be a problem with the Denon RCD-N7, not with iTunes or AirPlay. Fully powering down the RCD-N7 down (i.e. unplugging the power cable) then restarting it, resolved the problem.

  • Track information not recognised

Quite a large chunk of my MP3 collection has been imported into iTunes but it does not recognise the track information (i.e. just shows track title & that's it). I know these tracks have Artist/Album etc info as they show up in File Properties. Why does iTunes not recognise them & how can I resolve this?

  • Track Information

After burning a playlist from Itunes there is no track information, as it is a mix of tracks Gracenote will not recognise them. Is there a way to burn a playlist with the track information as well ?

are you using an itunes version 7.0.x?
if so, head into your Advanced-Burning preferences subtab, and make sure that "Include CD Text" is checked.

  • Track Information Lost on Upload

I am having problems when I upload tracks into iTunesU. The track information (tags) and getting messed up. This results in files being listed out of order in iTunes U as well as resulting in missing track information upon download. Anyone else have this problem and or a solution?

It sounds similiar to a problem I was having, and Apple's been looking at it. In my case, the problem occurs if I:
    1) Create the file in Audacity (and open source recorder)
    2) Add the ID3 tags in Audacity.
    3) Further edit the tags in iTunes.
    4) Upload the file to iTunes U.
I've also had the problem occur when I've exported a file without ID3 tags to iTunes and then made the edit in iTunes. In every case, iTunes has seen the ID3 tags locally, but once uploaded, iTunes U loses all the track information. Unfortunately, it's not consistent -- Friday I did a bunch of tests and it wouldn't upload track information; I did the another round yesterday and it worked fine.
This didn't happen when I recorded a file using GarageBand, exported it to iTunes to edit the ID3 tags, and then uploaded to iTunes U.
I did notice that when I edited the ID3 tags using another program (like this one and then uploaded it, all the track information appeared.
What program(s) are you using to create the content and edit the track information, and what's your workflow for those programs? And what kind of files are you trying to upload (mp3, m4a, mov, etc.)

  • Russian OS X messes up id3 track information

I am running OS 10.5.2, and recently switched to Russian as the main language. iTunes seems to think that a lot of track information correction is needed - whenever i play a track containing a Norwegian charachter like æ/ø/å or a German ü, iTunes converts these letters to something unrelated Russian (e.g. ü becomesя). This of course messes up albums, artists etc and tosses tracks around like gophers on the loose in my database. The problem can be mitigated by selecting all tracks by and artist (e.g. Krüder und Dorfmeister) and changing the artist name to the same by re-typing it. Any tricks for avoiding this hassle?

    I have the same problem.
In example if I am listening to Radio Sibir the only I can see are following fonts:
"–‡‰ËÓ —Ë·Ë¸ (High Quality)" in name field...
    Well...
You can try to check it here:
    http://radiosibir.ru:8090/HQ
Could you send me email if you solve this problem?...

  • Where did track information / elapsed time go?

Just lost my track information during listening to a song. The scrollbar has gone and so did the elapsed time / time to go counter. Where can I find it back?
    Thanks a lot!

To have the scrubber available for the song that is playing - which is what you are referring to, tap on the album cover art area for the song that is playing.

  • Saving multiple track information in midi format 0

In order to play sequences on my new yamaha S90 ES, I need to save my sequences as format 0 on a USB disk. Format 0 only allows one region. How do you take a song that you've set up on different regions and dumb them down to one, while retaining the separate midi track information?

I struggled with the same problem, but I think I've managed to come up with a solution. First, the steps explained in the online LE Reference manual are helpful. Search MIDI File 0 (I think the page is around 60). After performing the neccessary steps explained in the Reference manual you need to merge all of your midi tracks down to one track (region). VERY IMPORTANT do not merge them to one of the preset (pre-existing) midi or general midi tracks. If you do this, all the information just plays on one S90ES track - you get midi mush. You need to merge your tracks to an open (neutral?) track. I used the one labeled NO OUTPUT. I drag one midi track to the no output track and then merge any others to that track. I have found that the tracks only seem to merge "up". I drag the NO OUTPUT track to the top of the midi tracks that way they all merge to that track. At this point you should be able to export to your USB drive and the S90 ES should read it as separate tracks. It worked for me anyway. Good Luck!

  • How to retrieve iPhone tracking information from iPhone.

Does anyone know how to get the tracking information off of the iPhone?  I am trying to get this information as I am fighting a parking ticket I received while my car was valet'd, but have no other record of being at the bar on the night in question (as I paid with cash...the one time I don't use my credit card, right??!!).  If anyone knows how to retrieve the GPS tracking information (more importantly, how to get tracking information for a specific date), your help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Sorry but apple stopped tracking that information and it is no longer available. You will not be able to get any tracking information off your phone.
