I need help writing a HI-Low program where the computer chooses a number and the user has to guess, I'm not sure how to get the computer to choose its own number

Use java.util.Random
if you want the computer to pick a number between 10-100, do
Random r = ...
int num = 10 + r.nextInt(91)

N85 screen turns around

Hi guys!
I have a one-year old Nokia N85 mobile. Some months ago its screen started to turn around by itself (from vertical to horizontal position), and I have no idea why nor how to get it back to the vertical position. I am used to restart the phone, but there are days when it gets back to the "horizontal" mode almost immediately. In addition, my "Menu" bottom (on the main panel close to the green line) stoped operating. I don't know if these two errors are related or not, but just mention it here just in case.
Any ideas on how to turn the screen back to the normal position without restarting the phone? Any suggestions for a "durable" solution?

Why touch and swivel screens arent a good idea on a laptop:
The so-called Gorilla arm: Gorilla arm is a term describing the tired arms users get after reaching out and touching a screen for a long time.
Added thickness: Touch screen panels are usually thicker than non-touch ones—especially if the touch panel has an active digitizer for pen support.
Possibly shorter battery life: Touch screens require more power. Laptop Magazine compared a couple of touch screen laptops with their non-touch counterparts (same model and size) and found that the non-touch laptops lasted over an hour longer.
Easy to break: Swivel screens are notoriously prone to break, especially the hinge and the cable that feeds the screen from the logic board which is being constantly twisted.
And thats what the Ipad is for.

Is the internet working when you are entering your password? In PSE12 and PSE13, you need to be online first-time when you register/activate your product. It is made mandatory for reasons I don't know.

Crossgrade turn-around time

I just sent in my install DVD and was wondering what type of turn-around time people have been recently experiencing in getting their crossgrade disks now that the initial rush has passed.

Turn around time

We are ordering a book for one of my daughter's teachers, and we need it back before May 19. What do you think is the latest date I can order by and still get it in-time?

There are two book centers in the US....one on the East coast and one in Elk Grove, CA (outside Sacramento).
SInce I am near SF, my books come from Elk Grove. I created my most recent book (27 pages) on the night of 4/28, placed the order around 3am 4/29. It was shipped on May 1, Standard shipping, and I received it yesterday, May 5th.
It was my first order in iPhoto 08.....too busy making movies/DVDs The book is great, and the photos on the cover are great also, not too dark, as some have reported. It was of my husband's recent birthday dinner and he loved it!
I can't speak to how long it takes for the East coast, but I am very happy with the turn-around times here.

The NVIDIA GeForce4 MX has a stated max 64mb of memory, but I could not see whether that meant it actually had that quantity. I would assume though that it had a minimum of 32mb.
Have you checked in *About This Mac* what the actual memory is?
Maybe Apple was optimistic in its minimum requirements.

SAPScript Logo Turned Around

HI!!
My problem is with the images in my SAPScript, When I see them in screen they have the correct position, but when I print them they leave turned around.
For example, we imagine that the "A" is the correct position of the image. But when I print it I see it turned around "V".
What can I do?

Hi,
Ask your desktop folks to update 'driver' software to the printer in which it's printing upside down. We have had this issue, it vabnished once we updated printer drivers (latest available version from the manufacturer).

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and when I turned around I noticed my Stickies with all my secret computer codes and passwords etc. were gone. I think they are attached to the application and were replaced with the upgrade with a new version...n'es pas?

Came here looking for a solution to this same problem and presume others will.
I found it somewhere else but just want to share the answer!
go to the SPOTLIGHT search and type in Stickies.
The app is still on your mac, it just doesn't show in the dock or the Launchpad.
It opened and all my lovely notes appeared as they were in my Lion install.

My camera won't work when turned around

My camera will just black out when turned around, and does not even give the turnaround option within snapchat. I've tried shutting down, and a hard shut down. Any other suggestions please?

Not do-able with Reader. Acrobat Pro can reduce PDF file size, but... if it's text only (no media or images) it won't reduce any more than it already is.

Cant turn around the Fb app to watch the news feed on the side

I have a problem with the facebook app on my Iphone 5, i cant watch the news feed on the side only with the phone "standing" same problem when im going to post a comment or satus uppdate. It dosent turn around som i get the full keybord. And I does not have the screen locked. Anyone else that have the same problem? Really anoying.

I would have to agree, I access the Facebook site by going through the browser on my device. I'm not fond of the Facebook app at all because it's always updating and sometimes it doesn't function properly, but hey whatever floats your boat. Hope this helps!

RMA Turn-Around Times?

Anybody have an idea how long MSI's turn-around for bad motherboards is? They have had my P7N in the "In Processing" status ("Your RMA has been received and is now in replacement, testing, or repair process.") for nine days now. Based on the problems I had, I'm assuming this should be a no-brainer replacement. I can only guess that it's sitting on a shelf somewhere awaiting initial checkout to verify the defects.
So again, what's the average turn-around (assuming replacement and not repair)? ???

It will vary depending on your location, In the USA its not very long I think, europe now has a centralized repair center which used to be in NL but is now in Poland so in europe it depends how long it takes the regional office to forward the RMA to the service center. For fastest turn around it is recommended to return the product through the channel so dealer/distributor etc.
