Historical Reports v 4.0 will no longer print

We have been running reports in historical reports for the past couple of years and printing them out without an issue. About 2 weeks ago we had to rebuild our Call Manager publisher and restore from a backup from a 3 months ago since BARS had not been working (bad on my part). Anyway, after that Historical Reports will not print.
We can run thereports and all of the correct information shows up. We can export the report and print it after that, but that just adds another step. For some reason we click on the print button, the print dialog box comes up, you click the OK button, and the box goes away but nothing prints.
I have uninstalled the application, restarted, and installed the application all to no avail(on 4 different machines and on 1 I hacked the regeitry to make sure nothing was there). I have tried different printers and different drivers (PS, PCL 5, and PCL6) and different machines. It all just seem sto boil down to not wanting to print I I can not figure out why. All of the articles I have read here have not given me any further information to help me try to resolve this. Can anyone think of anything else that may be causing this?
Thanks much
Dave

  • My HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 will no longer print aqua.

My HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 will no longer print aqua.  I just tried two new cartridges and when I clean the heads, no aqua prints.  I get no error messages however.
One possible issue: Recently I used a new HP aqua print cartridge (940XL version) that kept stalling my printer.  If my printer sat without printing for 10 minutes or more, the only way I could get it to print would be to shut down the printer and restart it.  Then, as long as I kept printing, it worked fine.  When I replaced the problematic print cartridge the printer works fine except now it won't print aqua.  Could the problematic cartridge damaged something?
I looked at the print head and it looks fine.  What is strange is that NO AQUA INK at all shows on the print head page.
    What should I do?  Help!

    Hey @CWickstrom ,
Thank you for taking the time to post on the HP Forums today! Hope you enjoy the experience.
I recommend calling HP Technical Phone Support for this issue I believe you will be given options and help I can't.
If you are in Canada or US call 800 474 6836, or you can Contact HP Worldwide.
HP printers generally have a 1 year warranty from their purchase date, you can verify the warranty using the following link if you would like; warranty check.
    I hope this helps.

  • MY HP DESKJET 697C PRINTER WILL NO LONGER PRINT???? - HELP!!!!!

My HP DeskJet 697C Printer will no longer print!?
    1.  First, a mechanical bang noise comes from inside the printer.
    2.  Next,  the top over the "ON" switch yellow light blinks!
    3.  Finally, the following on screen Error Mesage reads:
"Your HP DeskJet 697C Printer has Failed to Print!"
    No reason is Given!
But I suspect, something inside the printer has malfunctioned since there is a one singular "Bang" Noise

  • I have a macbook pro and aphotosmartD110 wireless printer.  I was told that if I install the printer software on my computer, it will no longer print wirelessly.  Is that true and how do I scan wirelessly without loading in the software?

I have a macbook pro and a photosmart D110 printer.  I was told that if I load the software for the printer onto my mac that it will no longer print wierlessly.  Is that true and how can I scan wirelessly without loading the software? Also, can I just connect my mac to the printer with a cable and scan or do I need that software loaded onto the mac?  Thanks for all help!

If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.
This HP document may help explain how driver software is distributed now:

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.

Ps (CS5) will no longer print, Print on menu is grayed out
Have found many discussions about this but no solutions that work in my case.

I tried changing whether Ps or printer manages color - cannot find that setting except when the Print dialog shows up... and of course it does not show.
For my Adobe PDF printer I tried changing various settings, nothing made a difference.
    Must I reinstall Photoshopj?

  • With Leopard, iPhoto6 will no longer print captions in books

Now that I've upgraded to Leopard, iPhoto6 (6.0.6) will no longer print the captions in books when I send them to my desktop printer (Epson Stylus Photo R300). It does print the titles on the front covers. For calendars, it'll print the lines but not the dates. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Try repairing permissions, try the latest security update, try recreating your drivers from scratch using the latest drivers on Xerox's website, try using open source drivers*, or recovering your old copy of the previous operating system from your backup and disabling Java.

  • HP Officejet 6500 Wireless will no longer print cyan

Printer will no longer print Cyan.

Make sure to use HP Genuine Ink Cartridges for your Printer as the use of refilled ink can the damage the Printhead which may cost a more serious problem related to your printing. First, check your ink levels, if your cyan ink seems to be empty then, replace it. If not, got to the Setup menu of your printer then look for "Tools" then select "clean printhead". This allow the printer to free the printhead from dust build-ups and any dried ink. If cleaning the printhead still doesn't fix the issue then try another Cyan ink cartridge. If replacing the cartride still doesn't solve the issue then you must take all the cartridges out including the printhead and manually clean the copper contacts of the printhead by wipping it with a soft lint free cloth. After cleaning, insert all back-in and perform another cleaning in the tools menu of your printer. Problem should be fixed after performing all that steps.

  • 7210 will no longer print.

My 7210 All-in-one no longer prints (after 3 years of service). It will still scan and copy, but the printer is no longer recognized. I have an HP computer with Windows Vista, 64-bit. The default , printer is Microsoft XPS Document writer, but the 7200 is no longer listed as an option. I have tried a system restore, to an earlier date when it did print, but I get an error message that the system restore did not work. Don't know why, but something about not all files were included, but I am choosing the C drive with my system files so I don't know what that problem is either.  HELP!

  • Daily Sudoku Will No Longer Print Out

Daily Sudoku worked great for several days after I first got my HP printer.  Now it will no longer work--I've tried to set it up again several times to no avail.  Please help!

The last thing I want to do is remove web services.  It may fix your problem but it will remove your email address so let's try some other steps first.  I was able to print the Easy Sudoku and it seems to be up-to-date.
Press the ePrint button and then go into the "Settings." Scroll down until you see "Turn ePrint Off" and follow the prompts to simply turn it off.  You should still be in the ePrint Settings so then "Turn ePrint On."  It immediately goes back on when you press that so there should be no prompts.
Press the ePrint button again because the back arrow takes you to the main screen.  Now "Print Info" page in order to complete the steps to trick the ePrint to communicate with the app.  Print Apps are third-party software and it is somewhat difficult to work with them because it's hard to tell if there is a problem on their end.
Try to print the Daily Suduko again and if that does not work, turn the printer off and back on again with the power button.  At this point, if you are still having problems let me know what happens when you try to print it and it doesn't work. For example, do you get an error message or does the printer freeze up, etc.?
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

  • HPc410a printer will no longer print wirelessly

running windows 7, works to print by eprint but no longer will print wirelessly. I hsve tried unplugging, tried deleting the printer from comp and reinstalling.  the tests show that the wireless connection is good. Not getting any error reports when trying to print it just never comes thru the printer. Desktop, ipad, laptop and Iphone all quit printing.

Let's set a static IP address for the printer:
    - Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
    - Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
    - Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
    - On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
    - Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
    - Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
    - Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS. You can choose another external DNS if you wish.
    - Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

  • Canon  ImageClass MF4800 will no longer print

When I got this printer I could not get it to work.  After fumbling around and calling Apple and Canon, I eventually got it to work.  Not sure what I did, but it started working.  This was probably coincidental, but when it started working it had one job stuck in the queue, but it printed.  So I left that job in the queue.
Well, I just recently had to change the toner cartridge and now it no longer works.  I tried uninstalling, reinstalling as well as resetting the printing system.  I searched the internet and have wasted countless hours trying to fix this to no avail.
After I install the printer and try to print, I see the following message in the printer queue "Printing - Connected to printer."
Then it just hangs there.  Sometimes I may get one page, but most times I get nothing.  If I kill this job and try to print another job, it either does this again and hangs, or says "ready to print" and it won't print.
Something that is probably relevant is that when I print, a new process is created called xdclfilter.  And if I leave the job running, this process continues to eat memory until I get an error telling me I am running out of memory and I must kill something.  I have an iMAC that identifies as a mid 2010 model and I have 12 GB of RAM.
I have also uninstalled printer and deleted the /library/printers/canon folders and reinstalled.  Same problem.  Right now I connected over wifi.  Due to an illness I moved my computer downstairs and my printer is still upstairs.  But I had this working over wifi just like this for over 6 months.
Any suggestions appreciated.  I'd be welcome to share any logs, but you'll just need to tell me how to get them.  I now have a nice shiny printer with a brand new genuine Canon toner cartridge (didn't go for generic because I didn't want to experience problems...HA!) and I can't print to it.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Epson Stylus NX430 will no longer print!

I recently changed internet providers and purchased a new Netgear router.  Up until then, I have had no problem printing from my Macbook Air to my Epson Stylus NX430, but now when I try to print I get an Error message! I have emailed back and forth with Espon and we confirmed that the connection is fine. The drivers are up to date. We uninstalled and reinstalled the printer numerous times. We are able to print a test page using the Espon Utility. However, when I go to print from Word or Text/Email it does not work. I get an error message. Oddly enough it will print a document every so often, but not always. Epson has said that it is most likely a setting on my computer. Can someone help?  Thank you!!

  • HPLaserjet P1102W Will No Longer Print But Is on Network

Have had this printer for a while and it has been fine.  About 2 months ago, it stopped printing.  I was able to ping it from my desktop and other devices, it is on my network wirelessly and no other changes have been made.  The PC tries to send jobs to the printer and I get an error.  I tried using the HP Print and Scan utility but same thing.  The printer DOES respond on my network and has been reset,  Not only can I not print, I also cannot access the web page.

    Hi @Piscesyin ,
I see that you are experiencing issues printing over the wireless network and you can't access the Embedded Web Server for the printer. I would like to help you out with this issue today.
Power cycle the router and restart the computer.
If you are still having issues accessing the Embedded Web Server, please do the following steps.
Reset the printer first to clear out any previous network settings.
Turn the printer off, hold down the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer back on and don't release the two buttons until the printer stops making noise.
Print out a configuration report and make sure the SSID and IP address are cleared.
    Printing a Configuration Page.
Connect the USB cable from the printer to the computer.
Then run the Wireless configuration to setup the printer on the network again.
Go to Start, All Programs, HP, HP Laserjet P1102w, then select Wireless Configuration.
Run through the steps to configure the wireless.
    Then disconnect the USB cable.
    Test the printer.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!
    Thank You.
