History of lost friend

Dear community I need all of the skype history of a user who is not a friend at skype any more. How to do this? The convesation I have is only 3 month old and I need the older one as it contains importand datas for me. Thank you in advance.

There were reports of about 17,000 Hotmail users having their e-mails deleted. Maybe your friend was one of those affected. Microsoft said they were working to resolve the problem and restore the lost data.

  • After installing Flash player updates, Recently Closed Windows in History menu lost

    Hi Friends,
This is just an annoying problem, not really serious, I guess. Whenever I download and install Flash Player updates, History > Recently Closed Tabs, and History > Recently Closed Windows, are wiped out.
This is a problem for me, because when I log on to my computer every morning, I use History > Restore Previous Session, to get back all the tabs I had open the night before. And often also Recently closed Windows, if I had a 2nd and/or 3rd Ff window open last night. After I install Flash Player, the previous session becomes the Adobe update site. I think I can avoid losing the previous session, by making sure I open my previous session before I start the download and installation.
(I don't use fully automatic updates for Flash. I have the system alert me when it's ready, and then the next time I log on to the internet, the download popup window appears. I don't know why it waits until the next time I log on, instead of right after I click ok (and also ok on Spybot S&D and WinPatrol alerts). And I know you can't provide support for that part. But just to let you know all the relevant info :-) .)
So normally, if I've done something to lose my previous session (with all my usual tabs) (usually when I'm in a hurry and don't notice that I've opened Ff without restoring previous session) I can still get that session because it shows up in Recently Closed Windows.
But after I install the Flash update, Recently Closed Windows (and Recently closed Tabs) are both wiped out.
I'm hoping someone can sort this out, and I can just change some setting somewhere, to prevent this. Or maybe like the previous session, and remembering to open it, before I start the dl, it might just be a matter or altering my habits. I can't think of any habit changing that would work though. So that's why I'm asking all you wise Ff users :-) Hopefully it's not a bug?
Thank you very much for any insight, comments or suggestions :-D
    All best.

hello, this problem happens since the adobe installer triggers the opening of a browser window once the update is finished, which then overwrites the last session...
you could try if adding ''SilentAutoUpdateEnable=1'' to the adobe mms.cfg configuration file addresses that issue, as described here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/administration-configure-auto-update-notification.html

  • Contacts, messages, history were lost after using device switch from BB 9320 to BB Classic

Hi! I recently bought a BB Classic and used to use a BB 9320, I used the device switch app to back up all these infos. turns out, most of my contacts starting august 2013 up to now were lost. Please help how I can restore my contacts. Thanks in advance

About how many contacts are you missing?
Messages are not synced from the old device, but rather from your email server. You should be able to set your message sync time frame by opening your Hub > Settings > Accounts > select your email and edit. If not, delete that account and add it back again and you'll find the "sync timeframe" in the advanced settings.
Call logs. Only the last 30 days of call logs are kept.

  • Does change log history get lost in RAR AC when you move from 5.2 to 5.3?

Since we upgraded to version 5.3 is appears as though we don't see any change log history for our functions under Rule Architect tab after we moved to 5.3. Does this make sense?

You should not lose any entries. 5.2 to 5.3 upgrade would not remove anytning from database. You need to finish all the post-installation steps before you make any changes into 5.3.

  • I do not have the capability of history. Lost all history and not making new history

I have Firefox 5. It was updated recently.
I no longer have any history nor am I creating new history.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • Removed History and lost gmail. Now Google won't let sign onto my email account; it treats me as a new account and says somebody already has this address!

removed history...now Google won't let me get to my email account. It wants me to create a new email address!

Aye you absolutely sure you are using the correct account name and password ?
Ordinarily just clearing History will not prevent you using webmail.
If you use the History option to forget about the site it would clear everything from the History of that site including: cookies, the site address and the login details
    * As explained here [[Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox#w_how-do-i-remove-a-single-website-from-my-history]]'''_how-do-i-remove-a-single-website-from-my-history'''
** Other options clear fewer items: <s>[[Forget button - quickly delete your browsing history on Firefox]]</s> wrong article link [[Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox#w_how-do-i-clear-my-history]]'''_how-do-i-clear-my-history'''
In fact recording all the details then using the forget site option can be a good trouble shooting step to gain access to a site. Or try an alternative browser.
If someone has taken control of your account you will need to that up urgently with Google. You will need your security details to hand. You may also need to consider what else may be compromised

  • How to retrieve a long and precious history I lost by running cc cleaner to clean up my register?

The cleanup did not affect my bookmarks, they are all there. History however seems to be gone forever, a reference list that I took months to set up and that means an equally long setback to an editorial project. Weep, hair tearing, ashes all over my torn off clothes will not, apparently, restore that history. Booahhh! Tell me there is some home, please.

Don't try to open the file. Rename the places sqlite file in your current settings folder, then drop the old one in. I haven't done this, but here's how i would:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Switch back to Firefox and Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''places.sqlite''' to something like places.0327
Copy the old places.sqlite into the folder.
Restart Firefox. Firefox should show your bookmarks and history from the date of the database you copied in.

  • Why are firefox updates (and history) lost every time I restart?

Every time I restart firefox, it indicates update is available which successfully installs. But when I restart, same message appears every time and history is lost as well.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 21.0: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    *(32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    *(64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

has anyone run into problems with document history being lost when calling update from the sdk? we are encountering it with orders specifically but are unsure what is causing it... possibly updating a userfield and then updating?

  • Lost Workout History

    Hi there
It seems that all my workout history is lost after synching with iTunes. It shows up on the Nike Plus website but everything on my Nano is gone except for the last workout.
    Does anybody know why?

I went runing with my iPod nano, knowing, that I would have to calibrate the distance in the end. But not sure how to, i Paused my training insted of ending it and then did, as i thought i was suppose to do to calibrate. The resoult: My iPod is still not calibratet correctly, and i'v lost my latest workout. very disapointed! Would be amasing, if I could somehow recreate the latest run???

You can't. Task history is not persistent in 2.2. One you quit the application the history is lost. ARD 3 has a persistent task history.

  • Neo2 - Any fix for 'lost' memory?

On this board, I've read that it is normal for the BIOS to only see part of the memory if you have a lot installed. I've got 4x1GB installed, the BIOS reports a large number beginning with '3'; Windows System Properties says 3.25GB which works out pretty close in bytes to that reported by the BIOS. Is there any fix for this, since I'd like capable applications e.g. After Effects, running under XP x64 to have the option to access all the physical ram installed?

I would guess the history was lost when you consolidated your catalogs near the beginning of the process.  Can you remember what steps you followed to consolidate the catalogs?  There is no history if you have importing from image-embedded or sidecar metadata as that only contains the current state of the images, not all the steps followed to get there.
Most of the rest of what you talk about is a complicated discussion of why you don’t have any backups, which is interesting, but not relevant to the missing history, I don’t think.

  • Combining history, .html files, and sorting

Is there a way to create something comparable to a bookmarklet (as described in [/questions/956384]) for browsing history and if so, how?
Also, would any of the history be lost (as mentioned by John99 in connection with [/questions/956552])?
    Thank you!

Sorry, there isn't an option to export browsing history to an HTML file as with bookmarks. History was never stored in an HTML file, so that's why that option isn't available for history. And the old RDF history format ''(pre- Firefox 3.0 versions)'' had few other uses beyond data storage and has seemed to quickly fall by the wayside as far as the number of files in Firefox that use RDF format files any longer. Plus browsing history isn't considered nearly as important as bookmarks.
Wait and see what other support helpers can come up with as far as ideas, but it may take a few days for getting usable ideas.
