History report page prints before printing each new document?cc=us

How do i stop my HP Officejet 6700  Premium from printing a history report page before printing each new document, using Windows 7 & Using Microsoft Word? When I open a document and print it, it prints a history including: File Name; Directory; Template; Title; Subject; Keywords; Comments; creation Date; Change Number; Last Saved On; Last Saved By; Total Editing; Last Printed On; As of Last Printing....
Everything worked perfectly for a year, then I had to reinstall the printer because I deleted it by mistake. I cary it with me when I travel to meetings and didn't have my install disk, so I had to download the install software. I haven't changed any settings in Word, but it appears that the report is generated from Word.
Help will be appreciated. I can't find any other topic like mine to see an already presented solution.

Hi,
The report indeed being generated by Word and not by the pritner driver.
As you did not clarify your MS Office version I included the steps for Word 2010, I believe the same should also apply for Word 2007:
From Word click the File menu, then select Options.
Select Display from the left pane.
Under the Printing Options sections, uncheck the box next to Print document properties.
Click OK and try printing again.
If you cannot find the specific option, please clarify your exact Microsoft Wiord version.

  • Orage reports - page break before

    Hi
    Can any more experience devolpers help? I have a group above report that I wish the group to either page break after or page break before. If I set page break before then the group only prints on page 2 onwards. If I set page break after it prints on page 1 ok but then the report total always prints on its own on the last page.

    Hi,
    sounds like there's no child object for your object with page break before. This property has only impact of the object itself and all it's child objects. An object is a child object of another object, if the position of this objects has impact of the own position. This is only the case, if the parent object is vertical expandable and the child object is horizontally overlapping the virtual expand-region, or the child-object is anchored to the parent object.
    So if you have this layout:
    blue box fixed size
    red box fixed size
    yellow box fixed size
    and you set page break before to the red box, you will get:
    blue box
    yellow box
    -- page break
    red box
    If the red box is verical expandable you will get:
    blue box
    --page break*
    red box
    yellow box
    So in your tabluar report your field of the report should be in a frame and this frame should be child object of your new object which must be vertical expandable or anchor them together.

  • Problems W/ "W3C Validators" -Do I Have To Upgrade, Or Can I Manually Fix Code In Each New Document?

    I am having some trouble with "Validators" (BTW, using an older version of Macromedia DreamWeaver MX  from 2002 I think) and wonder if I need an upgrade or I can just simply manually change the code that is put there by default when a new document is created? (It seems to be "breaking the linters" when I try to share those pages to Facebook, for example.)

    Hi and thank you!
    I forgot to mention that I'm on a Mac, and that "free Expression Web" link would probably show me what code I need to manually update (each time I create a new document). Would you be willing to tell me what part of this (old) code is wrong? New document default code is:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>
    The Vaildator keeps showing me this main error (among others) - which I do not have the savvy to understand:
    The character encoding specified in the HTTP header (utf-8) is different from the value in the <meta> element (iso-8859-1). I will use the value from the HTTP header (utf-8) for this validation.
    It shows that error even on a page containing *only* the code that I shared with you above.

  • How do I stop pages claiming I have a new document.

    Hi,
    Everytime I use pages to open an existing document and then try to close it asks if I want to save this new document. How do I make it just save and then close. I don't have a new document to save, I just want to update what I have and close the program. It also keeps jumping to icloud, but I just want it saved locally on my laptop.
    Help  much appreciated.
    Richard Page

    Is the existing document already a Pages document? Or are you opening a Word or RTF or text document in Pages & expecting nothing to happen when you close it? When you open a "foreign" document in Pages, you're not actually opening that document, Pages is translating it into a Pages document, leaving the original untouched. Until you save it as a .pages document you will get that warning.

  • Pages will not open a new document

    Hi all
    For some reason I cannot open a new pages document (neither blank nor template). I can open existing documents but when I try to open a new document it just freezes and I have to force quit.
    My software is updated and I've tried repairing disk permissions.
    Does anyone know how to fix it? Or how I download the software again if I remove it from my hard drive (I bought it online and have a licence key).
    Thanks in advance!

    Emily
    Is it only one particular document? You have not made that clear.
    Very likely it is a font issue. The regular OSX 10.6 Software Updates introduced faulty fonts.
    You need to update your system with the downloadable [OSX Combo Updater|http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1349]

  • How do I turn a page around before printing it

    I need to print part of a page, i.e. just the right side, from the middle, as that's all I need. But when printed I get a blank left side and on the right side the lines are shortened by about half an inch, so I am missing a few words from each line. I need to either get rid of the white area on the left or turn the page around to 11 x 8 1/2 so the whole thing will print.

    Thanks Steve. Using the two up/down arrow keys as page up/page down keys, that works.
    Per Peter's comment I checked the layout menu which I THINK shows control + arrow (which do not work) but not sure. So just to finish this off:Here's what I see. What keys does it show? Then I'll go back to the Forum and mark it as done. Thanks, both.

  • Loud clicking noise right side of printer before print, but prints fine

    Printer started making a loud clicking noise yesterday before each printed page. Extremely loud. I've searched and tried everything in the discussions. Cleaning, putting on its side, shaking it, banging it. Nothing works. Is it just trash now?

  • Selection of printer before printing

    Hi all,
    Like my thread subject suggest, how to make that when user click the print button, system doesn't directly printing the document to default printer set up in Windows? I have a VM with SAP B1 2007 installed and it could be done in 2007, when we click the print button, we could select available printer. However, in 8.81, system directly send the document to default printer. Any input?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Hendry Wijaya

    Hello bro,
    hehehe... Satan aja Pusing ya hehehe...
    I think it is the new feature of SAP B1 8.81 because I have compared it to MS. Excel 2003, we can directly print to  the default printer by clicking the printer icon in the tool bar.
    In 2007 version, SAP did not make it as same as MS. Excel or other office applications.
    I suggest you to check if the defaults printer is set in the control panel --> devices and printers.
    if you checked in the printer field of report and layout management window of SAP B1 8.81, you can set any printers there but if it is set to default, it means that it will check the printer that have set in the devices and printers window.

  • New update of Firefox, now my home page keeps changing with each new session. What's the fix?

    After Firefox performed an automatic upgrade, my home page and "Restore to Default" setting changed. I can input the correct URL and save and that works fine during that session. But when the browser is closed and brought back up again, it reverts to this different home page (my companies intranet page). I've tried changing the "home page default" setting in the browserconfig.properties file and did a find and replace of the wrong URL in the "pref.js" files. But it keeps going back to the wrong address each time a new browser session is started. This all happened after an automatic upgrade was done to bring Firefox to version 3.6.8.
    This has happened on both of my work computers that run Windows XP - SP 3, IE 7.0.573 and Symantec Antivirus. So I'd think the chances of both computers being hit by the exact some problem, at the exact same time, changing the home page to the exact same URL and neither of the computers' antivirus protection catching it are rather slim. But I suppose that's a possibility. However, since this happened immediately following the browser upgrade, I have to think that this new installation has something to do with it.
    Any suggestions?

    Did you look for a '''user.js''' file in your Profile folder?
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/User.js_file
    Prefs in that file will override the same pref in the prefs.js file on each Firefox startup.
    Have you contacted your IT department about that issue?
    Maybe they are overriding your homepage setting?

  • TS1702 my Mac is requiring me to update pages app before opening an existing document.  I "updated" but it still says i need a newer version of pages to read.

    My Mac is requiring the newer version of Pages to view an existing document created on the old Pages.  I updated my current Pages app and it still won't open this document I want to view.

  • Photoshop CS3 keeps "snapping" for each new document

    Every time I bring in a new picture to work with, it automatically goes on "snap" mode. It never used to happen until I recently updated and since then it's been annoying me. Is there a place where I can master-unsnap it?

    Have you tried unchecking the Snap setting, then closing Photoshop, then reopening the app?  It saves preferences on exit.
    Also, once you have set Snap the way you like it, try saving your Workspace (Window - Workspace - Save Workspace) under a custom name and see if that sticks.

  • 6980 wont stop printing report pages

    Help-My 6980 Deskjet has recently started printing report pages after every print job.  It seems to go into quiet mode on its own, prints the job and then continues to print multiple report pages until I turn it off.  Of course I'm out of warranty so no help from support.

    Sorry using XP PRo with a wireless connection.  No troubles there.

  • Get number of pages of adobe form before printing

    Dear Experts,
    I want to get number of pages adobe form will print before printing the form.
    Please suggest.

    Hello Sagar,
         Without executing the generated Function Module, it is not possible to get the page count of a form in driver program because the generated FM itself is responsible to execute the whole layout and determine the number of pages in the PDF output. The below screenshot shows the number of pages in the structure /1BCDWB/FORMOUTPUT of generated FM after the generated FM is executed successfully.
    I really don't know why you need the number of pages before calling the generated FM. But if you still need it, then you might need to call the whole FM cycle twice( FP_JOB_OPEN , Generated FM, and FP_JOB_CLOSE ).
    1) First time while calling the FM FP_JOB_OPEN, you need to modify the contents of SFPOUTPUTPARAMS structure. Send the blank values in fields GETPDF, REQNEW and REQIMM, and send the "X" in fields NOPREVIEW, NOPRINT and NOARCHIVE and 000 in field COPIES.
    The reason for doing this is, we do not want actual PDF output. We only want to determine the number of pages.
    2) Now execute the generated FM . You will get the number of pages in the structure /1BCDWB/FORMOUTPUT-PAGES as shown in screenshot above.
    3) Now call the FM FP_JOB_CLOSE as usual.
    4) Again call the FM FP_JOB_OPEN. This time you again need to modify the contents of SFPOUTPUTPARAMS structure reversely. Send the "X" in fields GETPDF, REQNEW and REQIMM, and send the blank values in fields NOPREVIEW, NOPRINT and NOARCHIVE and 001 in field COPIES.
    This time we need the actual PDF output.
    5) Now do the required processing with previously fetched number of pages before calling the generated FM.
    6) Now call the FM FP_JOB_CLOSE as usual.

  • How do I browse my hotmail e-mail messages (while zoomed in) without having to scroll down for each new e-mail (after pressing up arrow for next message)?

    In other words, I want to be able to change the default starting scroll position from 'top' to 'bottom' or customize this to 'somewhere in between' so that I don't have to scroll down before reading each new e-mail message.

    Have you tried Firefox's zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
    You can "zoom" all sites using this add-on: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
    After installing NoSquint, click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
    If you don't have the Add-on Bar displayed, you can right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
    You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but I wouldn't go much higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.
    If there are particular sites that still present a problem, feel free to post their URLs.
    You can find more information about the zoom features Firefox offers in these articles:
    [[Text zoom]] - For zooming text only
    [[Page zoom]] - For zooming the whole page (including images etc.)
