Sounds like you screwed something up when you replaced the back. As the iPhone is NOT user serviceable, there's not much here we users can offer you.
Bring your phone to a 3rd party repair shop and see what they say.

my iPod appeared to be dead, i plugged it into my computer to charge and it said it needed to be restored. it updated it and now is stuck and my itunes says "waiting for iPod" and has been this way for hours. i've tried to hold down the home and power button and nothing happens!! my computere and itunes recognizes the iPod, but the iPod its self is completely unresponsive!! and helpoful hints?

I had to restore my iPhone 4 and now all my pictures are gone. I don't have them backed up to my laptop, and I thought that they automatically backed up to iCloud but I'm not sure. I had a lot of pictures that i desperately want to get back PLEASE HELP
You should be importing pics to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Nothing should only be on your iphone. You should keep everything on your computer.
If you have failed to do this, then they are gone.
You can try restoring from backup. -

Are the contact details in your contacts app, the phone app uses the contact app to put names against telephone numbers.

If so, installing an iOS update on an iPhone that was hacked to be unlocked or restoring such an iPhone with iTunes re-locks the iPhone to the carrier the iPhone was sold as carrier locked with.

I restored my factory unlocked Iphone 5 to see if I could lower the size of OTHER and now I tried to activate it but it keeps saying that the Iphone could not be activate it because the activation server cannot be reached.
I have tried to activate it over Wi-Fi and over the Cellular and it is not working.

Hello, i changed my passcode and forgot it. I tried to unlock my iPhone several times, untill it says "Connect the device to iTunes". When i connect, i can try to unlock it again. So, i have previously connected to my PC, so this PC is trusted, I've read on internet that the only way to recover my data is to sync/backup my iPhone, but when I try to do so(on a trusted computer), it shows me the error "the device can not be synced because you need to enter passcode". Please tell me if there is a way to restore my photos and videos? I really need to have only those, nothing else. Also, why apple made things so hard and a simple user can't restore his data in a simplier way?

I have an iphone 4S 16 GB I need to restore. I tried to do a reset and it seems to have locked up. I cannot get into it. When I try to turn it on the only thing I get is the Apple sign. I would like to do a restore but I can't turn it on. I have the last update loaded.

i updated my apps last night and it said there was a new updated so i went to bed and this morning on the screen it shows to plug in to itunes and theb its says it will go back to factory it won't stay on help

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...
