Explanation
1. There is no API to import ASL but you can create the ASL automatically when Blanket is approved .
2. You can review Note 271321.1 Ext/Pub How To Import Approved Supplier List for details
3. The Enhancement request , as explained in Note 271321.1, is Enhancement Request 2726818 for local ASLs
to be loaded through PDOI and in addition there is no scheduled date to have it available.

Workflow Builder를 통해 PO Approval Workflow를 setup:

- Create Sourcing Rule Flag: "Y"
- Update Sourcing Rule Flag: "Y"
- PO SR Rule Name Prefix: "PURCH" - Default Value
- PO Assignment Type ID for SR: "3 - Item level "
- PO Sourcing Organization ID: ASL이 생성되어야 하는 Inventory Org를 set

Hi
I have tried to research these problems I am getting, but have not been able to resolve them.
1st is the above DDE Server Windows iTunes.exe - entry point not found.
This only occurs when I try to start iTunes.
if I click ok , several times, iTunes will start but slowly.
If at any time I have to reboot my computer I get
iTunesHelper.exe - the procedure entry point asl_add_log_file could not be located in the dynamic link library ASL.dll
if I click 3 times OK it goes away.
To this end I have uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my machine then gone to iTunes web site and downloaded the latest version.
Installing it but still get the same errors on reboot and trying to run iTunes
Anyone any ideas please.
I have a self build PC it has an Intel core 2 quad Q6000 @ 2.40GHz
Ram 4.00GB
32bit OS
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
Firewall - Zonealarm
Virus - Zonealarm

Message was edited by: YbslikTaken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

I get this message when I start up my computer and when I try to open itunes. After a couple of clicks to cancel the message, all programmes still open. I've run a registry checker to no avail. I also cannot find the ASL.dll on my computer either. Any ideas?

The music is stored on the iTunes library. This library isn't deleted when you uninstall or reinstall iTunes, so you will keep everything. Anyway, it's better to make a backup of the library. Apart from that, you can download the purchased music as many times as you want -
Help with asl files (Apple Script Logs)
I went through my hard drive recently using a program called GrandPerspective. It showed me that i had this huge chunk of files thats taking up almost a quarter of my 232 GB hard drive.
I did some google searching and found out that they are logs of what the computer did that day. Because most of the threads were from 2005-2009, I wasn't sure if that information was outdated or not.
So my main question is this. Can I delete these asl files without doing harm to my MacBook?

Elements5.0では、Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Adobe¥Photoshop Elements/5.0/Photo Creations/special effects/layer stylesの中に入れ、再起動後
[アートワークエフェクトを構築中]と表示され追加されるそうですが、
私の場合表示されませんでした。
[special effectsフォルダ]を検索しましたが、一件もありませんでした。
とても困っています。

On my Mac, after the installation i get this error when i start - "Premiere Elements 13.0 has encountered an error. [/Adobe/pre/main/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283]"

How do I prune asl.db with "syslog -p"? It doesn't seem to work.
Has anyone has any luck pruning asl.db using the the syslog utility with the “-p” command under Leopard?
I’ve shut down syslogd, and I can search the active database using “-k” and an expression:
$ sudo syslog -db -k Sender sshd

According to the syslog man page, I should be able to able to prune the active database with the following:
$ sudo syslog -db -p Sender sshd
But, what I get instead is:
prune operation failed: can't contact syslogd server
The man page for syslog says, “If -db is given without a database file name, syslog prunes the active database file. This may only be done if the syslogd server is not running.” So, I shouldn’t need to have syslogd running.
But, just to make sure, I started syslog again, and I get a different error message:
$ sudo syslog -db -p Sender sshd
no queries for pruning
Same thing if I remove the “-db” option.
$ sudo syslog -p Sender sshd
no queries for pruning
There are definitely queries because they show up with the “-k” option.
If anyone has an experience with this they can share, I would appreciate it. I could just be missing something.

hello
we have solaris 2.6 intel on compaq proliant 5500 machine.
Also oracle 7.3.4 server running on it.
we have upgraded its memory 1 GB to 2GB for 2 mounths.
System hangs after reaching a point which gives an error message on console like
"Warning asl : dropping ctlmsg cannot alloc msg block".
and we have an error message on /var/adm/message file like "Aug 3 10:36:58 cll inetd[167]: accept: Not enough space"
can anybody help us?

One or more Safari extensions are the cause for Safari crashing.
Can you access Safari > Preferences > Extensions before Safari crashes??
If not, startup your Mac in Safe Mode
A Safe Mode boot takes much longer than a normal boot so be patient.
Then launch Safari. Then go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions. Uninstall all the extensions then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
Once you are in Safe Mode, click Restart from the Apple () menu.
You also need to uninstall Rapport. You don't need to be in Safe Mode to do this.

Mac App Store version and ASL files

Some days ago I updated my Photoshop Elements for Mac to Version 11 (Mac App Store version).
Accidentally I noticed mysterious activity though Photoshop Elements wasn't running.
For example these files have been created or modified /private/var/log/...:
What pupose have these .asl files and ativities?

Huge System.log and asl files. Can these be deleted? What may be the casue?
Following on from an earlier posting regarding disappearing disk space, a couple of responses suggested running a disk utility such as OmniDiskSweeper.
I ran this and it highlighted that the private folder, specifically 'private/var/log' is taking up almost 49 GB! There are 2 system log files:
system.log.0 is almost 20 GB and system.log is close to 19 GB and a file, asl is 10 GB
What are these, can they be deleted, and what may have caused them to be so large in the first place?This was being written repeatedly to the system.log file. I removed the application, restarted the Mac and the problem appears to be resolved

PURPOSE
Blanket PO로부터 ASL과 Soucing Rule을 생성하는 방법을 알아본다.
Explanation
1. Site level로 아래의 profile options이 setting 되어져 있는지 확인한다.
PO: Allow Auto-generate Sourcing Rule = CREATE AND UPDATE
PO: Allow autocreation of Oracle Sourcing documents = Yes
2. User level로 하나의 assignment set을 아래의 profile option에 attach
한다.
MRP: Default Assignment Set
3. Blanket Purchase Order를 생성한다.
ASL과 Sourcing rule이 필요한 item이 입력되야 하며,BPA를 위한
Effectivity date는 지정되어야 한다.
4. Blanket Purchase Agreement를 저장하고 approve 한다.
Enable Automatic Sourcing : Checked
Update Existing rule and assigment : Checked
Select the release method: Release using Autocreate
5. 현재 BPA의 header status는 'Approved'이어야 한다.
6. Workflow background process를 아래의 parameter와 함께 실행한다.
Item Type : PO Approval
Deffered Activity: Yes
7. Supply Base > Approved Supplier List 화면으로 이동하여 Item을 조회
하고 ASL이 생성되었는지 확인한다.
8. ASL 화면의 Attributes로 이동하여 특정한 Release method를 가진
Document가 첨부되어 있는지 확인한다.
9. Supply Base > Assign Sourcing Rule 화면에서 MRP: Default Assignment
Set profile option에 지정되어 있는 Assignment set을 조회한다.
10.BPA에서 사용한 item을 Assign Sourcing Rule 화면에서 조회하고,item에
대해 지정된 sourcing rule을 적어 놓는다.
11.Supply base--> Sourcing rule
Query the Sourcing rule
ASL과 Sourcing Rule 둘 다 생성되었음을 확인할 수 있다.

What do I do to stop the ASL.dll wasn't found to able to start ITunes?
I get this message: Unable to locate component. Application has failed to start because ASL.dll wasn't found. How do I correct this?
Snow Leopard, Mac OS X 10.6, is not iCloud compatible. You need to upgrade to Lion, Mac OS X 10.7, via a download from the app store...$29 (US), provided you had at least 10.6.6. You can upgrade to 10.6.8 for free as part of the software updated function, then go to the app store and purchase the Lion download.
When you do that, before installing Lion, make a copy of the Lion Installer from the Applications folder where it downloads to some other location, such as your Documents folder, so you have a backup copy.
For Lion you must have at least an Intel Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7, or Xenon processor, 2 GB memory though 4 GB is better and 7 GB free space on the hard drive.
As part of 10.7.2 you end up with the iCloud connection. -
Why is/where is ASL.dll missing?
Following recovery, itunes was missing. In downloading and installing, the process stops with "itunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes and later after many trys another stop occured with SYSTEM ERROR, ASL.dll is missing. Not a good day/s!!!!!!
Unless you've tried to downgrade iTunes that error can be a symptom of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash for more.
Not noticed any references to ASL.dll that I can recall, but a full tear down and rebuild as shown in the second box Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
